I've just started getting the calls. I might play around with their heads for a while - before telling them to get a proper job...

I keep on getting cals from the same number 01268557600 but when I call them back it is unobtainable. WHY ARE THE CALLING ME?

Have had several calls over the last week or so from this number, googled it and here I am. What puzzles me is how they got my mobile number. I am looking forward to the next call having read this site :D Not sure what I will pose as, a nun who uses the phone for peace work or some such character,depends how the mood takes me. Might even change my accent :D If these companies can cause restless nights and disturb your peace maybe it's time we fought back? Or maybe, I'll 'fall' for it....string them along for a while :) Thanks to all those who have added their thoughts to this site, keeps us poor deluded consumers in the loop....what what!!

This is Club La Costa. Silly me filled in a survey form and 'surprise' I won a holiday. Suppose to go and collect my prize at Lakeside but not going to bother. My son use to work for a similar company and he never knew where the information come from or what it was for, he was just told to carry out the follow up calls and they are nothing but a con, suppose now I will have to put up with all the annoying calls. Surely there's a solicitor out there who can change the law so these people can be sued for harassment!

I googled the number and have read many of the comments posted. I am furious that companies are allowed to do this but Chloe, the girl who works for them wound me up the most.

Chloe said that it is a scam, therefore no loyalty to her employer and that she enjoys ripping us off because of the money she earns. That we are mugs.

Chloe - what goes around, comes around and 'amount' is how you spell the word, not 'mount' you ignorant toad. Chloe, the reason you work in a scam call centre is because your command of English language is so poor no one else will employ you. Chloe, you rip people off because you cannot find a decent paying job working for a decent company. It is a sad way to live your life Chloe, and I am certain with intelligence levels as low as yours, you spend your money on alcohol and fast food, oh, and bus fares to get to work. Nobody that stupid should drive.
The people on this site Chloe are wise to your scam and are slowly getting the message around that you are rotten to the core. I plan to bite back like others have suggested, mess with you for a while, mess with those OTE's you get. I hope I get you Chloe, I am going to enjoy stringing you along for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks....you'll think you have a winner when in fact all you have, and I suggest you look in the mirror when you think about it.....is a loser.

Scamming the people of Great Britain on an hourly basis!!

Hi Everyone, these people called me last year and then it all went quiet...in the last 2 days they have started again. It's not actually a scam though, they DO give you the holiday, it's just that you have to go to the sales talk 1st.  When they called me last year I said, "if I've won a holiday just send me the details and I'll book it" but the lady on the phone said that they believed people wouldn't do that. Is she mad?!  If they are paying for me and mine to have a week in the sun I will most definitely take it!  The "scam" is that (1)  you haven't "won" anything, they GIVE you the holiday as you have to attend the sales talk when you're there and (2)  they always say that you've recently filled in a questionnaire - well the last time I did this was easily 4 years ago.  I resent them thinking that we are all stupid enough to fall for it.  I wish they would give me the holiday that I've "won" but they won't....!!  So not really a scam but an insult to our intelligence.  My sister suggested that we take the holiday,go to the talk and then innocently say "will my bankrupty affect this at all?" and watch them back off ha ha!!  I cannot be [***] to go to Bluewated/Lakeside when I  live in East Kent and I know damn well that it's a sales pitch!  Just give me the damned holiday!

i also keep getting these calls and when i call it back it comes up wrong number... its a pain in the backside and should be stopped

They called me asking for my name but I don't remember giving anyone my details!
Almost certainly a scam!
Strange they called only one time! After that they didn't call again!

i also got a call back last year and told them straight i was not interested

i thought they had got the message but today they had rung me again.

they did say before that i has to be a home owner which i pointed out i was not and that i was not interested anyway.

i have tried to ring the number back 01268557600 but surprise surprise it does not exist???????

maybe winding them up for afew weeks as others have suggested may be a good idea :)

Just got a call from a guy claiming to verify some questions before I could claim a prize. I asked him why I should answer any of his questions (if I am a home owner, what's my date of birth etc.) He then just hang up.

This company should be closed down. They just want your private information. What a skam!

Google search "silent calls" - and register with the "Call Prevention Registry" - since I have registered, I have had no sales calls at all .... wonderful !

this numeber called me today, saying i entered a competition. this is scam, do not answer, and do not worry about it. Lucy.
