told me i had won a holiday  just phone this number  its a scam

i have received many calls from this number over the last few days, i dont answer calls i dont recognise so have never answered this one. They never leave a message just ring constantly. After googling the number i now know who the scumbags are so i'll never answer

these scumbags are now using a diffrent number as well as the 557600 they are using 01268555095, however if you ring it the w*****s wont answer

I stupidly did fill in a questionaire at Bristol Airport about a month ago, I wouldn't normally bother, but as they were at the ariport I thought it would be genuine!!  Never again!!  They call every day at least twice! They called while I was on holiday and when I told them the call would be costing them alot she asked when I was back and said she would call again - errr yes, twice a day every sodding day!!!  I haven't answered anymore calls.  How do I get them to stop????  I am off work as I am in alot of pain right now so don't need these idiots ringing all the time.  I read on here somewhere that if you tell them your not a homeowner they will leave you alone - is that correct?  If so I will answer when they call again and tell them that.

Well, I haven't filled in any questionnaires and nor has my husband!!  I am also on TPS so how on earth they got my number is a mystery.  I too get at least 3-4 calls a day!  I have caller ID so just ignore them, but it's  still annoying!

Received call today on my mobile with exactly same as all the others.Was goimg top ring it, then got suspious as you don't get anything for nothing!!

Just got a call from the [***] 10 minutes ago telling me that I had filled in a Survey in June, told they guy on the phone that I had not and he got quite aggressive and insisted that I had and again told him I had not so he slammed the phone down, dialed 1471 abd got the number which i called and this did not work. typed this number into google & got this site which all of you are saying it's a scam. thinking about it now I had a very brief 3 question survey last week in ASDA car park asking for shopping habits I never normally stop ( stupid me ) will never stop for a survey ever again.

Just got a call on my mobile and they hungup straight away. Definitely havn't done a survey.

This number calls my home number and then hangs up.

Got a call from 01268557600 on my mobile.and the caller hung up, maybe because i am a guy and they probably cannot sell anything to me.

I think they are calling from Basildon, Essex.

these people keep calling my mobile they are a f...king pest .i never asker it now to this number

If you call the company "Choose travel" the calls origonate from their office. I just called them to ask to be taken off any lists they might have.... lets see !!

Had 13 call from them now. Blocked the no on my phone.

Sick of receiving calls from this lot - has now been going on for almost 2 weeks; at least 4 times a day.  My phone is on silent during the day and I never answer a number I do not recognise but their insistance did begin to make me worry... perhaps it was important, a debt collection agency or something about my tennant?...  Glad I googled - next time I will answer and tell them to vanish swiftly.

keep getting calls from this number. when i call back there is no connection

Just got a call from them asking me to confirm the details they held on me, as the "prize draw" would be happening imminently.
When I told him I had no recollection of entering & that the details he quoted were all incorrect, he slammed the phone down!
Idiot...

Recieved a call today, as i was at work i missed it. I was on holiday in Menorca in July and remember filling out a silly questionnaire on the way home... silly idea! Someone stop these calls!

This number has been phoning my home phone every evening for about two weeks.  I didn't recognise the number so I haven't been answering.  I completed a customer survey in Menorca about a month ago (never again).  Might try the 'answer and let them talk to themselves trick', did that a few weeks ago on a different nuisance caller and it seems to have worked!

Best way to deal with these sort of calls is this:
1. Register with TPS & FPS anyway,
2. Get caller ID/display so you know who is calling before you pick up the phone.
3. Get BT choose to refuse so you can block the number next time they ring, until they change their number of course!
4. If you do pick it up when they call: they will ask for Mr or Mrs X. So you just say "hang on I'll just go and get him/her". Then put the phone on the side and go about your life while they sit there and wait. It's hilarious!

Had 4 missed calls from this number - how do they get our number??
