Mmmm... I just had this call! They told me that I had entered a competition - at which I replied that I hadn't! The girl said "Maybe your partner did. Anyway, I just need to ask you some questions..." I told her that I have no interest in the questions and want to know what details she has about me. She read out my correct name, number and post code (which I never give to anyone so very intrigued). She then asked me if I was a home owner. I said no - which seemed to be the magic word - and that was the end of the questions. So, even if you ARE a home owner - lie : )

she rang me.. she knew my name.. bizarre..
i apparantly entered a competition on msn and said me and my parter were aged between 25-61? i said no... and she hang up! i thought it was 21-65..? silly [***]!

Call received today from pleasant male salesperson. Usual script used as shown in previous posts. The only "survey" that I recall recently being presented with, was one from "ASDA", received by email. I completed part of the first page, ie surname, telephone number, email address, (I did not provide an initial), but on looking at the financial questions posed opted not to submit the form. Obviously my details had been activated. Since then, although not submitting the form, I have receieved numerous spam emails titled to Mr...only. The junk telephone calls have also increased. Yesterday I received an email questionnaire from "Tesco" which I binned instead of  opening.  The charming salesperson was not that persuasive, although I do expect a further call, after informing that I was NOT the person who had supplied the information. At least this company leave a telephone number on 1471 as opposed to the faceless ones.

just got a call like every1 else,,thought that aint my luck to win holiday so googled number and this stuff come up.many thanks for this site great help, i live local to pitsea where u said this company is based so im going to do something that i dont usually do ,as they have p1ssed me off and waisted your time as well and there is a post from a heavily pregnant lady who tries to get rest but gets 5 + calls a day ,, ,,,, bang out of order so i think the time has come to p1ss through their letter box,,,,,,,,,look what this scamming load of idiots have drove me to i may even crap through it ,,,,,,,,thanks dazlin

Just had a call from this firm, i certainly do not fill out random questionaires, i am not going to both to call them back, however if they call me i am going to have some fun !!

They have been calling me for 5 consecutive days now!! V V persistant especially as I dont answer or just cut them off!!! What a load W**kers!!! It's a con!!

I got a call from this number yesterday, I missed it, and when I called them back, I was told the number does not exist...

Just had a call from this no... asked if i was me, then hung up!! thought i may have lost signal so tried to call back but justs says number failed.... so thought it was pretty strange, so googled it an got this website... so i obviously not the only one, don't people have better things to do with there lifes then make annoying phone calls!!
Hopefully it not some sort of fraud!!!

Has anyone actually been to the presentation. So what if it's time share. If you live near the location and they give you £50 for going and you get a holiday out of it, the drawback being that you have to listen to a few seminars. So what. If you are fool enough to buy that's your own fault, if you want to buy that's fine, if you don't want to buy - duh don't sign anything

I received a call from 01268557600 telling me it was from a web survey site called Planet 49 and that they were checking my details. They called me by my Married name, asked if I was married/living with a partner, asked if my age was in the 35-45 age bracket then said I was a home owner was this correct. I said no and they said they would change my details and hung up. I was suspicious only when they hung up so abruptly so I tried to call them back but i got the 'this number is unavailabe' message.

Well done,.... I might have answered if it hadn't been for this site.  They are persistant little buggers calling at least twice a day but thanks to you I will happily ignore them!

Ive had numerous missed calls from this number and will now be adding them to my "reject" list.

I've also had calls from this one as well as the scam British gas one recently. I'm wondering whether they're connected as there all coming at the same time, how the hell have they gotten my number as well :s

Said I had won a holiday to a european destination.  Just had to call a number to claim it.  I went on the theory, if it's too good to be true ...

they have called my house two times and just hang up,they are going to get what for soon

Top tip to get rid of these scam merchants and most of the others

1) tell them you are single
2) tell them you are not a homeowner
3) tell them you are over 65

They will hang up like their phone just got red hot.

And of course never call their rip off premium rate line to claim your "prize".

First you will rack up a massive phone bill and second you will have to buy expensive airtickets to get to your free accomodation, only to spend most of your time being harranged by their pushy timeshare sales people.

I got called up today about winning a holiday to 3 different destinations and don't recall taking the 2 min survey they mentioned.  I asked them to email me about it as I was busy, and they asked me to call their head office on another number.  The guy said he was going to leave a message with the number to ring, but never did.

Tried that number and it is dead/doesn't exist.

I got a call 2 mins ago from this number, first one ever though at the moment. I have tried to call back from a landline number but all it says is the number you have dialled has not been recognised, strange eh
