I gave brief details and 'entered a draw' at the Ideal Home exhibition - you'd think this would give some credibility? I've had a number of calls to my mobile and actually answered one today. They tried to call back and then left a freephone mumber and reference. I was assured that everything would then be in the post to confirm that it was a genuine holiday.
Pleased I googled the number and thank everyone for taking the time to offer their comments. Will now ignore all further calls. They're jolly persistent though!

They're still at it - I've just had a call + the same freephone no and reference number.  Needless to say I shan't be calling them.  Thank you whocallsme + all the respondents.

Kept getting missed calls, when finally spoke to them told me I had won a holiday for 4 and I had to ring a travel agent within half an hour.  Didn't bother to follow up call.  Was obviously far too good to be true.

this number has been calling me all this morning about 6 times now, and they hang up the minute i answer. ive given up answering now.. yet they continue to ring :@

I have had a call on my mobile today from this number. They had phoned my landline last week and left a message with a family member. She said she was ringing aboout competition I entered on the web for a holiday. I told them I hadnt entered a competion.

Keep getting phone calls from this damn number, I rang it back and got a recorded message saying "Thank you for calling Club La Costa Resorts and Hotels. Unfortunatley all our operators are busy at present, please hang up and one of our operators will call you shortly" - I'd like to know why they're calling me and where they got my number from coz it's getting realling f***ing irritating - Get at least 2 or 3 calls a day from them - Do they not get the hint that if someone doesnt answer, theyre not interested in their crap?!

Had a call from them "with wonderful news".  Wanted to give me a freemans holiday for four.   Said I'd won it after filling in an on-line survey; which I hadn't. Told them to call me back later. Should be interesting.....  well; spoke with Carl from CLC who passed me onto Jenny. She wanted to check my details which we did and then she asked if I was married or had a partner.  I told her I didn't, at which stage she told me that the "offer" wasn't open to single people and that I should have been told this. I guess my wife answering the phone had reassured them!  I asked if I could take my girlfriend but sadly this wasn't an option. I'd lost my holiday. Perhaps my loss or maybe my gain.  Who knows.

I received the call from this number earlier today. This same story asked for some details,and as soon as I confirmed that I am not a homeowner   the lady cutt it short and told me that I could win a holiday and that later in a month somebody will contact me. It is a scam so don't be naive!!!! Avoid it!!!!

Got a call today .  I was told I had been entered into a prize draw for a free holiday.  I will receive a call at the end of August if I am winner.

I got a call today but was at work so unable to answer, however Googled the number to see who it was so thanks for the info will ignore it if they call again.  I think they got my details when I was accosted in the Easy Jet boarding queue at Alicante airport last week by a guy offering to enter me into a prize draw.  I am not normally so gullible but the boarding gate kept changing and was feeling usual airport stress.  Thanks for the help

I have received calls from this number-the latest being this afternoon,at around 2pm.A very enthusiastic-sounding lady congratulates me on "winning a holiday".however,it is necessary to attend a "two hour+" talk at a central London hotel,with partner(if s/he jointly owns a property).This suggests that it's a front for time share deals.

Stupidly gave my entered a competition at the War & Peace show-Have been bombarded with calls...luckily I had left my phone at home that day!.Looked up number and saw that it was a scam as I had suspected. I answered the phone and asked them to take me off the list. I then got about 8 calls in about 2 minutes. Rang for a couple of times and then hung up!.  I just turned my phone off!!! I don't mind if they like doing that.  I have just learnt never to enter a competition like that ever again!.  I will be contacting BT & Organisers of the show to let them know about this number. Don't expect anything to be done in our 'it's not our fault society'

have just received 2 calls from this number this evening...didn't answer as didn't recognise the number....and I certainly won't now ! they left no messages

Got a call from this number saying I'd filled in a holiday survey - I didn't remember, but stayed on the line. They said 'can we confirm the following details - you and your partner are between 18 and 62 and are homeowners'. I said 'I don't have a partner' and they slammed the phone down on me. Rude gits. And obviously some kind of fraud - why would a holiday company want to know i I was a homeowner?
