This number has called me a few times on answering noone speaks and when try and phone back no matter what time it always engages 01273384548 I wish they would [***] or speak [***]

Is there not anything we can do about this number? It's rang at least twice a day for the past two months and it is driving me mental. Surely they aren't allowed to do this?!

Company pretending to be sky selling warranties

have just got a call from 01273384548 at last i have found out who it is. Its sky have been so annoyed with them ringing at least 3 time a day with no-one answering. I have told them in no uncertain terms That I dont want them to call me again or I will have everything taken out.I get enough junk mail from them so I dont want them calling me as well.If people want something they contact these people I dont like cold calling.I dont know if anyone is aware that BT sell on your number to firms just found this out recenly is there no privacy now we are X directory but we still get cold calling.Hope this is helpful to anyone who is having the same problem

Always engaged when trying to call back,absolute scum scam again.
The amount of shite we receive from emails to telephone calls and fliers is grossly unnecessary.

This number initialy displays as 08001-218147 but our answer phone then gives it as the number above. Part of Domestic + General but as we are covered by Telephone Preference Scheme - no message left.

Two missed calls.  I have no relationship that I am aware of with this number.

I have had a call every week day for the last 2 weeks, i do not answer as i dont recognise the number.
I let my answering machine get it but whoever it is NEVER leaves a message!!!
It is extremely frustrating as my number is ex-directory!!!

Called me 21/4/2012.
This is a rogue company that imply they are the Sky servicing department.  
They are NOT Sky, they are a dubious satellite repair outfit that have been exposed on TV,
and the giveaway is when they ask for your DEBIT card number.

Got a call from this number on my mobile when I was in Italy. Fortunately I missed the call as I'm sure it would have cost me for the privilege of getting a sales call!

My daughter on holiday and keeps getting calls from this number.She hasn't answered or it wil cost her money but whether she will when she gets home to see who it is?

Suggest  anyone hassled by this caller use Marigold's link -- I have   and I have pasted it into an email sent to all my contacts asking them to subscribe to the petition and to forward the email and link to all their contacts.   If we all did this it could well go viral before the end date of the petition. Below is the email I sent

Rec'd a call from this number on one of my business (Premium rate) numbers. The caller said that they were from D&G and were offering a discount to extend my high value electronic items. Told them I wasn't interested and added the number to my TrueCall Block List.

hi this number has bean trying to get me for the last 2 weeks , dont know the number so will not answer it and dont want to call them back as you haer so meany reports about costing so much ... i wish they would just stop ......

This number calls me at least twice a week and leaves no message. If you call it back it is permanently engaged. Starting to annoy me now. These companies need to be stopped.

Caller phones every day even when I'm on holiday abroad and never leaves a message.  No idea who or what company it is.  Becoming extremely intrusive and irritating.

Had this number call me twice a day for the last fortnight.  Never leaves a message and I don't know the number so I don't call back.  After reading these posts I tried calling the number from my work phone which is with-held - surprise, I got an engaged tone.  I have resorted to saving numbers like these under the contact name "COLD CALL" which I have set up to not ring, but to divert straight to voicemail (you can do this on some mobile phones), this stops me from being pestered, and I imagine will irritate them eventually so with any luck they will get bored of trying and delete my number from their dodgy database. :-)

Left message can't understand it

Called three times in the early hours of the morning.  Needless to say unanswered.

I had a miss call from this number also, I have read all your messages and some say it's Barclays bank and others say its sky. I don't bank with Barclays so it can't be them, unless they are a 3rd party from somewhere. I am however with sky so I'm guessing it's more to do with them?
