This number has called me everyday, 2 or 3 times a day, for the last 2 months, it is soooooooo annoying,  I never answer as I think if it's someone important, they will leave a message.  They do not leave a message and I want it to stop.  I am registered with TPS so I shouldn't be getting them.  Does anyone know how to bar this number please?

I've recently returned from a business trip but have been hassled whilst overseas from this number. I didn't respond as the number wasn't known to me.

I come from Brighton and still have a very elderly relative living there so, whenever I get a call with a Brighton code, I call back to make sure it was not from a kind stranger trying to get hold of me in connection with some emergency that might have befallen my ancient rel.
I have just had such a call whilst on holiday from this number whilst on holiday in South Africa and I tried more that once to return the call.
Now I know who it was, and I doubt that even the most charitable of us would ever put AIG or Barclays in the 'kindly stranger' category.

Just got call from this number but didn't reply. Who is this number?

I have received  125 calls from this number within the last week. No one ever speaks and it is driving my wife and myself round the bend. This must stop now.

I've recently been having a lot of problems with Sky and numerous phonecalls to them to try and get my broadband up and running so when this number called me I assumed it was Sky. Didn't think to question it until I saw this post. Unfortunately for the poor man I was on a school run, exhausted and just ended up rambling for ten minutes about how much I hate Sky. Told him to call me back at 5pm and he never did! Guess I scared him off. Hahah.

Numerous calls over the past few weeks, all from Sky (or rather "On behalf of sky") Keep trying to sell me insurance for my Sky dish - despite me telling them I'm not interested.

No calls, just text saying I have missed a call from this number.  Needless to say blocked the nuber but also reported to ICO as I have TPS on my mobile,

This number called me today and yesterday and the day before but the day before that I answered it. They said they were from sky, that for £26 a month I will have all my sky boxs and dish and even my television covered for damage for 3 years. And when I asked about a catch or how much excess it was... There was none... Yes no excess on the insurance. They called me by name. First said this is just a call to say how sky is doing. When I complained I have no 3D and I paid for it I asked her if she  could put me through to the right department... She said she can give me another number for sky!?! So I rang sky. They had no idea about this caller but fixed my 3D. The next couple hours the First Lady rang me back up and asked for my bank details so she can set up my insurance. I told her I had lost my purse. She gave me some sob story of her own and said she ring tomorrow. Well they are still ringing every day but I don't answer. So tonight I put their number into Google and find this! What a surprise. So glad I didn't hand my details. She seemed so geniuine. The number was

Same as everyone else number permanently engaged when you call back. Look forward to answering it next time they call.!!!!

Disconcerting as chap sounds very nice and has all the patter e.g. phone call being recorded, hi my name's Steve blah blah but then started talking about security and passwords so I hung up. Glad I did having read these posts.
