answered to this number today, it was beko offering me insurance for my washing machine for which the manufacturers guarentee is due to run out. Pain the the backside!

I received a call from this number today. When I called back it was engaged.

Got a call from that number today, answerd the call they hung up, phoned backand it was ingaged tone, it happend to me a few weeks back aswell num (01273-384-4548) just wish they would stop ringing me fed up with it.

Could you please tell me if you know the number that's calling me ( ie who it is) it's bloody annoying  when they phone you and hang up, when you call back it's engaged arrrrrr!

In NZ and keep getting missed calls, please tell them to STOP

Got a call from them a few days ago. I bank with Barclays , so it could be them.

this number keeps calling my answer phone but no message they should not even be contacting me at all my IVA is over now and it is legally binding

This number call me everyday evening and when I receved he not talk to me may be this doggy number

Call showing as 01273384548 on caller ID today, 4th December 2011. Claimed to be from Sky trying to sell me insurance for my Sky box. Asked for me by name. I do have Sky but whether they actually knew that I'll never know. People in this thread have had calls from the same number claiming to be from Barclays. Clearly they can't be both. Look back at when this thread started. How do these con men manage to keep operating for so long?

My advice to anyone getting calls like this is to buy a telephone that allows you to create a list of blocked numbers. One of the best things I ever bought. Just add the number that called you to the block list and it will never ring from them again.

this number is sky trying to sell extended warranty on there products...

ive had a series of these calls..silent type calls leaving the number but when i call back all i get is either a series of garbled clicks and whirs as in a fax machine or the engaged tone...when i did manage to get thru it was to do with AIG and barclays home insurance....ive contacted a solicitor to get this sorted..im sick of it..15 -20 cold calls per day....

It was domestic and general checking if I had received the paperwork for a dishwasher warranty I took ou online.

Anyone know this number?

I have just recieved a call from this number try to call back and its is engaged, no answer phone message left. WTF

Had a call from these people tonight. I have trucall best christmas present ever!! Answers the call for me and asks the caller to identify themselves only then will my phone ring. The machine then tells me who it is and I can either add them to my safe list and accept the call (next time they call they get straight through), hang up and the machine will take a message or (if the caller is shy and doesn't reveal themselves) I can "zap" the call blocking their number the next time they try and call me they get a polite message saying that I'm not interested in talking to them and to go away without my phone even ringing :o)

its a scam as they rang me and said it was sky tv selling insurance on their boxes for £7 a month

this number phoned me and when i went to pick it up it rung off
