    If, as some claim, this is a genuine Lloyds sponsored call centre, whether it be in Brighton Bangladesh or wherever - I suggest that Lloyds customers get a petition together. I am a Lloyd’s customer and have money on deposit with them, and have done for some 20 years, but I’m seriously thinking of moving it.

    If the only thing they understand is loss of business and bad press, then that’s the way to go. Anyone for making a formal and COLLECTIVE complaint about these numbers?

    I had a call off them last night (Sunday) at 9pm, it must be a scam. I will not be answering it again.

    have suddenly started getting loads of calls from this number ever since I wrote and told Lloyds Credit Card and bank that I have moved house.  They always say that it is to do with a personal banking matter etc etc.

    My husband as been receiving calls from 01273743574 for over year. They say they are from Llyods TSB but no other details will be given until we provide them will DOB and address and telephone number. Meaning we have and never will have an account with Llyods TSB i am not in the habit of giving our details to anyone. We have now received calls early hours of the morning, Good Friday, easter Saturday, everyday whilst on holiday and still the same response. Now we are getting where the phone rings and no one will be on the other end. We have threatened them will Harrassment charges if it doesn't stop and still they keep coming. I have now contacted Llyods TSB on 08453000000 who have advised me that the calls are from a collection team, but have been calling our number by mistake, and our number will be removed within the next 10 days. We'll see if it does....

    Ringing several times about an outstanding crdit card bill.  As others report, they want personal details over the phone (duh).  Paticularly troubling is that the credit card has been cloned and overspent and Lloyds TSB can't get around to writing to us so we can respond in writing or can't arrange a face to face meeting.  The attitude seems to be tough luck you've been cloned, now give us the money or we'll keep calling you from Mumbai.

    Just had a call from our friends at this number.

    They had called several times before, which I had ignored, on the basis that I don't answer numbers that I don't recognise until I have done a bit of research, fed up with cold calling sales calls.

    You would have thought that if they were that keen to speak to me that when I finally picked up the phone they would leap at the chance to pin me down.

    It was a female voice. hello I said,she said hello twice in a very hesitant manner and then cut off.

    It this was Lloyds CC department, then no wonder the bank is in a sorry mess.

    I have a strict policy when dealing with calls like this.
    1)I always say hello without giving my name.
    2)I then ask who is calling, and not just the company. I want the name of the person, their position within the company, and their direct phone number.
    3)I never never never give out any personal details. I deal with this by asking them to give the details they have on me, and I will confirm if they are correct or not.
    4)I then ask them to follow up the call with a letter, which on receipt I will act upon.

    they rang my mum saying that my dad has left his card in his top draw, so go an get it as there is a payment due.

    They are Lloyds TSB and if you don't mind being credit blacklisted for 10 years and have the bailiffs on your door then ignore the calls.

    keep calling nearly everyday for my son who no longer lives at home. repeatedly tell them this, and we have no contact with him.i have told them they are harrassing me but they take no notice.  i now tell them that the call is being recorded for evidence to prosecute them, demand their full name and to identify the company and full postal address, the name of their supervisor. usually a pause at which they say if the call is being recorded they cannot continue with the call.  they still call the next day, did speak to a supervisor on sunday and had a rant at him,they still called on bank holiday monday.

    Kept asking for my husband. kept saying he was at work. Every two hours they rang including on Sundays. Still having this call everyday. This is harrasment. My husband wrote to them and they still keep ringing.

    Im Currently entered into a agreement with payplan so this number will definatley be a credit card company chasing late payment. Ive told them im doing this but they persist to ring 10+ times a day. Complete idiots if the carry on i will go bankarupt so they get nothing!

    Never had a Lloyds TSB account, credit card or anything like that.  So they have no reason to phone me. Caller rang off when I picked up the phone.  Lloyds complaints line say they can't help because I have no accounts or cards with them.

    Formal complaint to Lloyds TSB head office now being sent.

    My son has entered into an agreement with Payplan through difficulties with his cards. These people constantly ring my home telephone. I have told them repeatedly about the arrangement and not to call me as they will not get him on this number -IT IS MY NUMBER NOT MY SONS. They then ask my to confirm my telephone number back to them at which point I tell them no due to Data Protection. They then ask me to get my son to contact them - again I say no it is against data protection. I get calls from the UK and many more from an overseas call centre. When will these [***] get the message they will not get him on this number. From now on they are just going to get a two word answer and the second word is OFF !

    I've been getting calls on my mobile for a while now asking for someone else and claiming to be his bank (no specific bank, just HIS bank). Both men and women from this and other numbers, today they even called from a mobile. When I say I don't know the guy they get quite confused and hang up.

    Although I do find it rather funny I think I'll report them. They don't strike me as a sophisticated outfit.

    The same as Steve, they are extremely rude and will not stop calling. Having paid off the amount over the agreed overdraft limit, the collection agency did not tell me that Lloyds had just added another £300.00 in interest on to my account. I am furious to say the least. To make matters worst my debt management company who I am paying to liase with Lloyds will not write to the bank on my behalf. So weekend spent sorting unpleasantrys again!!!!

    What a dirty trick LLoyds TSB are playing, not only will I be writing to Lloyds, a copy will go to the FSA and the government along with copies of all these comments.

    If this is supposedly Lloyds then even if I answer they never sort anything out for me at all. I have tried the phone thing and am now resorted to sending them a proper letter about my account and requesting them to stop calling me too. I have been trying to deal with them as I am a student and they just took my overdraft away from me and are chasing me up for this money now. How do they expect to get money off me I'm a student. My credit rating here doesn't bother me as I am moving to Ireland and they have no right to chase me there so its their problem if they push me too much. I'm fed up and there is absolutely nothing I can do but try and reason with them all the time. One time I called them they said they were giving me six months to sort out a repayment plan and then they harass me with phone calls and letters. So if you are a customer and answer say a letter is on its way to them and thats how correspondence will be made until everything is sorted out. And luckily I have my student union to thank for helping me sort out this matter although its not fully sorted they are witnesses to all that has been said and they have written it all down too. But anyone reading this- be warned off Lloyd's TSB they are a horrid company and a nightmare to deal with because you may be deceived into thinking its sorted and they will continue to harass you and they treat poor students like sh*te!!! Grrr....
