phone rang, I answered, after a brief pause the line went dead, I dialled 1474 and was given the number 01273743574, tried to call it back but no such number??

the number 01273 743 574 keeps calling me and I am ignoring it - anyone know who this is coming from?

I get a call from this number every day with out fail when i try and call the number back the call always fails.

This caller 'LloydsTSB' rings and when I answer the phone thewy do not speak.  I don't even have an account with LloydsTSB.

We keep getting calls from this number. No one speaks, then they hang up. They just called both my husband and my mobile too. We didn't answer, voicemail was left, but silent messages. Fed up with these calls. I will be ringing Lloyds bank in the morning to complain

I must say this is genuinely Lloyds bank. They help me sort out the financial mess I got into because I always forgetting to pay my bills on time. They gave me the best advise how to be on top of my credit card bills. And the best way to stop them from ringing me is... Pay my bills on time. It worked. They never rang me again.

Im try to repay lloyds credit card debt from thailand. No one phones emails or gives an address. Do i send my monthly payment to a po box? Does anyone collect the mail???

I've had several calls from this number but as my answer machine fields all calls, and I have caller recognition I can ignore them.   They never leave a message.

I am learning a lot about UK telephone area codes though,  and most spam calls are from no known UK town prefix so they are fairly easy to spot, thank goodness.  .

its a debt collection outfit called impact on behalf of vanquis bank. they are barred from my phone these companies thrive on people's mis-fortune and misary

So it seems that the conclusion is that they're saying it's Lloyds with regards to an account held with them... i've received numerous calls from this number and have no connections to Lloyds AT ALL! Definitely must be a scam.

I received daily calls from this number until today when I received three in quick succession at
10h10, 11h47 and 13h19. Going to report this to the polce now.

This is another PPI pest nothing to do with Lloyds TSB as far as I can ascertain. Heaven help us when the pensions rules - change we'll be getting even more calls. Will the government control them- we all know the answer to that?
