Caller was very rude & said they were from Lloydstsb & that I had a problem with my bank account & that I must give personal information (eg d.o.b) to get the details.
I hung up

I've been getting calls from these people for weeks now they just won't take the hint and I'm on the "no cold calling list"

I've had three calls from this number today from someone saying they were from Lloyds tsb, asking for personal details.  I hung up and called Lloyds, who said that they don't use any numbers like that.

I had a call from this number today at 20.52. Did not see the missed call until after midnight. Rang it back anyway. Message said "You were called today by Lloyds TSB, we will attempt to call you again later" and hung up.

This is LloydsTSB Credit Card services.  But they do ask for DOB and first line of address!
The bank dont seem to know much about the credit card services side of things.  I called the credit card service (on 0845 6062171 not 0870 3665378) who confirmed they had tried to contact me).

THIS IS LLOYDS!! they use INDIAN call centre who tell you to ring another number regarding "a personal business matter" (in my case, why are you late this month with your cc payment. They can ring up to 6 times a day, cos you on a "2 hourly or 4 hourly" ring back service.

I thought that they could only contact a certain amount of times - I get a call a day - is this HARRASSMENT??

Never ever give out your details.. unless you initiate the request.. doesn't matter how legit they seem.. criminals are always one step ahead and in this case seem to have a lot of areas covered. i phoned lloyds.. they confirmed it's none of their numbers..

Had a call today, didn't like the sound of it so managed to speak to a manager at the main call centre who says its to do with 'Collections' which is part of the Credit Card Department. Its the only part of the Indian Operation left. I asked why I should be getting a call on a sunday from this dept and the manager couldn't offer me an explanation. All a bit amateurish really.

i had two calls from this number today, an indian souding guy saying hes calling from lloyds tsb and asking to speak to my dad, this isnt the only time; last time my mum answered the phone and she said its a joint account so anything they need they can ask her, he said he cant so she hung up.
it doesnt seem very professional to me, i wouldnt give them any of my details.

As with other people the caller identified himself as Khalid from Lloyds TSB and sounded Indian.

He said there was a problem with my account and asked for my date of birth.

I asked for his telephone number which he refused to give me, though checking on 1471 revealed this number.

IT IS IMPORTANT NOT TO GIVE ANY INFORMATION - Report the incident to the POLICE!

Like most of you recived several calls from this number claiming to be someone from lloyds tsb and asking for personal details includng my six digit security number, if this really is lloydstsb they need to take a good look at their procedures.

I have received 5 missed calls from them today in 4 hours!!! As it was to my mobile I have now managed to block the calls.

Had a call from Nadia at LloydsTSB asking for my DOB and account details, so I hung up and will report it to the branch in the morning

I have been called constantly from this number for the last 3 months now. I keep ignoring it as it is calling my mobile. The first time I picked up it was a young indian guy I think his name was Khalid. he asked me all sorts of personal questions to do with my bank account. I hung up as I was at work. I dont have a credit card with tsb so why am I getting these calls? I had a debit card a few months back but I got rid of it really quickly. How do I make them stop calling?

Got a call today - asking for my Mum and then my Step dad (both by name).  When I said my Mum wasnt here, he seemed shook and confused and was like "erm, oh, erm, is [Step Dad] there?"

Didn't claim to be Lloyds, either, just mumbled where he was from and hung up instantly.

Got a call about 10 minutes previous, also, but they hung up instantly.  Presumably they do this to ensure someone is in and then prepare information about possible occupants?
