Report a phone call from 01273743574 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- RichForgot to say, was presumably an English guy, 'posh' accent, with a fairly deep voice.
- witheldmale sounded Indian. Stated from BT, new my name, asked to confirm personal details. Challenged and hung up
- smithHave received several calls from this number on my mobile no: most of the time i jut ignore it. messages have been left by an Indian sounding guy claiming to be from Lloyds Tsb, asking for some name i do not recognise. Have answered on occasion can just hear people in the back round. If you try to return the call they never answer.
- Caller: lloyds
- lauren| 3 repliesHAHA this number aint an indian call centre hu ever sed tht ur a muppet!!! the area code is brighton 01273 so i dont think this is lloyds considerin they only ring on a with held number i should kno...my bank is lloyds!
- Caller: supposedly lloyds tsb but it aint!!
- JackIdiots called my parents house today (I mover nearly a year ago, plus I gave my bank my new number/address) saying they needed to speak to Jack, didn't even ask for a last name. Left a message as well half recorded half muttered by someone.
All very suspect seeing as I go into my bank every few week, I've never had a letter or anything else off TSB and I don't even live there anymore. Needless to say I was very confused when I was told by my mother today.- Caller: Who knows
- GazMy mother had a few missed phone calls today on our landline...this area code is from wigan..but we dont know anyone there..and if it is lloyds TSB. They should`nt be phoning because none of our family has an account with them
- Chrisanon| 1 replyVery suspicious of this number - I don't have a Lloyds TSB credit card, and refused to give any info. caller very stroppy, so I hung up.I never give banks my real phone number, forcing them to communicate in writing. They don't like it, because letters can be produced in court if there is a dispute, whereas phone calls can't.
- Caller: 'Lloyds TSB'
- SomebodyGot half a message left from a nippy sounding dragon. "....regarding a personal business matter".
I know t was Lloyds TSB hassling me again. The last time they asked for personal details when I answered and I told them to go away. This must be them getting heavy again. I plan to ignore the calls. They have no right to phone me at home. - Bewitched, bothered & bewilderedJust received a call from this number, Cannot understand a word they kept asking for someone or other but couldn't understand a word they were saying, asked for their name, still couldn't understand.
If they are going to call please let it be someone you have half a chance of communicating with, until then I will not listen to gibberish or give out details. Don't they know about the data protection act - well it works BOTH ways, and we speak English in this country.
On looking through my phone records I can see they phoned e in the past as late as 9pm surely this is outside the watershed for cold calling?
Until then if they think they have a problem try writing!
Go away you horrible little people learn to speak another language and then apply for a job annoying some other countries residents.- Caller: LloydTSB?
- JThey rung me today on my mobile asking for me.i hadnt picked up the first call so they said they would ring back in half hour.i picked it up after reading this page and speaking to my other half and the guy on the fone asked to speak to me to which i replied speaking.then he proceeded to ask for my personal details to which i replied no im not telling you,he said it was an important matter to which i replied ill go to my bank tomorrow.you can never be too sure-even if it was the real lloyeds which i very much doubt i wasnt giving my details out.
- Caller: supposedly lloyedstsb
- staceythey been ringing me too and been very demanding saying its about an urgent matter and they cant be lloyds if they are asking for your full 6 digit security code as on the telebanking they only ask you 2 figures i just tell them i aint giving personal details and then they go stroppy and say we cant continue this call so i think it is some criminal trying to hack into my bank as details of mine went missing fromthe child benefit so wondering if it to do with that and i have never had a credit card so why are they ringing me??
- staceywell next time that number rings me i will be recording the call and seeking legal advise about it
- Pete| 2 repliesThis number is Lloyds TSB Collections Department. If your account (whether credit card or bank account) has arrears or you've missed payments then you'll get a call from guys on this number.
Under the Data Protection Act they are not allowed to pass on any information about the purpose of the call unless they can guarantee the identity of the person they are speaking to. If they were to discuss any account information with anyone other than a named account holder then this would be in violation of the DPA and would make the debt void.
I've been called by Lloyds TSB on this number a few times in the past, today surprisingly was the first time I had a British telephonist.
For anyone who's mentioned cold calling or that they've signed up with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service), this type of call does not apply. If you get a call from this number then it's because you are already a customer and have provided your number to them at some stage. They are permitted to contact you regarding the debt by any means provided to them (by you) as long as it does not get to a stage where it could be deemed as harrasment (which is illegal). Definition of harrassment in these circumstances is however a grey area and your interpretation of harrassment will differ from a legal interpretation of harrassment.
At the end of the day, no one likes getting calls about money you owe, but Lloyds TSB are one of the better ones (I have about 12 different creditors) for coming to arrangements about paying the money back, so don't automatically get on the defensive, be nice and they'll work it in your favour.- Caller: Lloyds TSB Collections
- mandy at the weekendgetting regualr calls from this number....seems to be an indian guy that claims to be from Lloyds Tsb...ive recently rang lloyds to tell them about this annoying callers and they said its not a number of theirs????????
ive been rang at 20:30 in the eve and on a sunday...
very annoying........ - janineThe number is Lloyds TSB. My husband has a credit card with them and when he had an op to remove a cataract on his eye which left him unable to work for more than 6 weeks, they called him sometimes upto 3 or 4 times a day most days. With him being self employed this meant we had no income (i stayed at home with our two young kids) and despite telling them, you could guarantee you would put the phone down and a different service adviser would ring less than 10 minutes later and i would have to go through the whole thing again.
Now i have saved the number to the house fone as lloyds, so i don't bother answering, i just let it go through to the fax.- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- Arthur ChappellI drive them crazy by asking them for security clearance and how they expect to prove to me hat they are from the bank when they phone me - they expect me to prove my id by giving personal daya - I insist they offer me proof of id - they usually give up and hang up but unfortunately ring up again with days - I particularly hate being called outside banking hours, even on Sundays - if they can afford to employ anyone they should be opening branches instead of call centre human-robots programmed to follow orders like this - their address Consumer Debt Recovery Team
Lloyds TSB plc
Queens Road Quadrant
Brighton BN1 3XJ - PhilYes, It's really really Lloyds TSB, and yes they Really Really are so damn stupid that they ask you for this information, why they don't just ask you for two digits from your security code I've no idea.
I know it's them because they only call when I'm late with a payement on my C/C. What hacks me off is that they charge me a late payment fee anyway and then hassle me about it, I'm paying them enough for the privialidge of being a week late! - JaneHaving already contacted them myself, they are still ringing me up 6 times a day. This is harrassment. Someone needs to tell the LlloydsTSB what is going on.
- Caller: LloydsTSB
- AlanAt the moment my wife is on the phone to the real Lloyds TSB, and she has read all the responses that has been wrote on this site. and has appeared to have concerned Lloyds TSB.
