my partner has had several missed calls from this number and today because they could not get the hit to beat it they phoned her work asking for her ! im going to answer the phone next time round and put the poopers up them !

Was called by this number at 9 am, they didnt ring long enough for me to answer, when I called the number back, I was instructed to call an 0845 number, at 9.10 I received another call this time I answered in time, and got an indian lady asking for a man I had never heard off, I told her she had the wrong number, she then asked me to confirm my number to remove me from list.... I told I was not giving her any information, to which she sniggered and told me I would remain on the list... I then hung up

I have had the same calls, 5 times now always asking for the same person which is no-one in our household. I called back and a machine gave me 0845 6006297 to call. This asks for you to input account details too. The 01273 number is listed as follows:-
01273 743574 BLS Collections 01273 743574 Lloyds TSB Collections so maybe Llyos TSB are wrong to say they do not use that number.

Missed call from this number - Again said it was LLoyds Bank and they would call back. Shame Lloyds care so little about their customers that they have not closed this down.

i have a 'payment plan with Lloyds' and keep getting calls from them.

last 2 calls have been messages left on my answerfone... BOTH i couldnt understand, but came across as very rude and abrupt.

I've an issue (branch related) that i tried to get resolved, branch told me to speak to the collections team, collections team told me to goto the branch.... guess where I am going with this.... yep, round in chuffing circles..

Oh well, another day, another answerfone message.... Once more into the breach... "Cover me, I'm going in" !!!!!!

oh, and this follows a chat i had with a UK chap agreeing to put a 7 day block on ALL calls from them as they are twsiting my melon (man)... lets see what they have to say about that eh !!!!!

Listen to this! I keep getting calls from Lloyds TSB asking for a Mr R Barden. I have lived in my rented property for 3 years and unless he's been hiding under the floor boards, Mr R Barden doesn't live with me!!!!! I've never heard of the name. Some calls have been from India and they won't take no for an answer. They promised on several occasions to delete MY phone number from their records. Few weeks ago I got another call asking for Mr R Barden from Southern Water (or was it)?
Today I got another call asking for him from another company. I told her that I was very concerned that all these companies seem to have my phone number and are chasing Mr Barden. She seemed to sympathise and told me she would put a note on the system. When I hung up I checked the number and guess what? It was from 01273743574. Can't believe I was gullible enough to believe her. Can't believe she was lying about where she was ringing from!!! I WORK FOR LLOYDS TSB AND I AM GOING TO FIND OUT WHO THE HELL THESE PEOPLE ARE.

I have had exactly the same thing from Asians and i told them that no way that Lloyds T.S.B would ring me and do you think i am a numb skull but they still persisted in to me giving my bank details.I soon sorted the problem!i say excuse me but i have a problem i am making love and it,s sunday afternoon and give off the sounds of having orgasms and for some reason i do not have the prolem now.

I am also going to find out who the hel isringing me on this scam,it,s an invasion of personal privacy.I wish i could get them i would throttle them.GRrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I have received calls from this number too which I ignore.
I'm not sure exactly what the police can do about it but if we all call the ombudsman for Lloyds, I am sure he will definitely not be amused and will find a way of stopping it ;-)

I had three calls from these people today, on a Sunday!! Went on your site and saw some of these were for TSB credit cards. I have never had one, and called them back a bit puzzled. Eventually put through to someone in their marketing department who wants me to talk to them about a mortgage. Are they mad! Never had one with them and never will. How can they do this. How likely am i now to ever go to Lloyds TSB if I need one. Never!!!

Listen up guys. this is the story.
I have had a few calls over the past weeks from Lloyds on this number. I rung them back and was given a number 08456006297 to call the right department. I eventually spoke to a gormless moron and explained I have no accounts with them and to leave me alone. Moron then tells me I am being contacted as they have a new campaign and would I like to meet someone at my nearest branch and I can save "a lot of munee". Anyway, I explained I felt harassed and he told me he would not call again. 8.47 this morning another call. This is ludicrous and a real pain. I phoned them back  and was again offered a FREE appointment to tell a complete stranger about my finances. Too too kind. These people seem to know nothing about finance. most of them are foreign and have little grasp of our tongue, they are calling from an office in birmingham or brighton. Doesnt even sound like they normally do this as their jobs  as reading notes on here this number has been used in the past for lloyds cards. Best advice - ignore their bloody calls! Wirh no response, they will hopefully go away. they asked me for details of my address and date off birth, and they have no right to do this. I told them nothing but that I dont want called again. Only time will see if they have done the decent tthing and taken me off their caller list.

i get regular calls from this number, they take ages to say something when you pick up the phone, then ask me my address and bank account details. NOT very professional atal, a say im not giving out that information as they should already have it, they get arsey and i put the phone down. if i have a genuine problem with my account, they should either write to me or then the hole-in-the-wall machine should eat my card and tell me to go and see someone. ive added them to the blocked list on my mobile now anyway

lloyds, you can shove your finance up your backside.Sick of you phoning me and hassling me when I have not asked you to. If I want something I will speak to you myself, when it suits me, now when I am trying to get the kids to school at 8.30 in the morning, nor when i am feeding them at 6.50 in the evening. I want nothing from you except peace and quiet. I have an account I have not used for a long time and am told I am on their target customer list as they want me back to fully bank with them. No way ever. Despite promises to take me off lists, I still get called almost daily, last time 5 monutes ago. Drop dead you numbskulls, and leave me alone. Anyone know how to block calls on a landline/ they have used various numbers, including their main phoneline one, but would like to try.

Hey guys, dont worry about these people. they call me regularly with the same garbage. Not sure if it is a scam but I have been told different things by different people. Sometimes they want me to move all my banking to them, others they want to update their records as they say they have written to me and had marketing mail returned. Its a load of old tosh anyway, as all they want is an excuse to call so that they can then launch into their sales pitch. Very very underhand. I have no connection with them any longer, and transferred all my stuff to natwest more than a year ago. Far better deal than at lloyds, so would suggest you do the same. The times of some of the calls are a disgrace, and I find it very intrusive. I now tell them they have the wrong number and that seems to work for a while. Called me again today so they must be on a warpath again, but I now just ignore their messages. Even when I call them and speak to them they start the whole calling thing up again after a week or to. Almost funny, but sad that a bank that size can be so unprofessional and crafty.

This phone number calling me every day 3 to 4 times a day and even in late evenings and w/ends.Leaving me voice mails ect...

Unbelievably, these jokers have called me again this morning. Sick of trying to ring back as invariably get the run around and told they will take me off their lists. Help!!!!
Police can do nothing about this as it is a perfectly legal though unsolicited marketing call. wouldnt be so bad if they didnt leave me messages all the time as if there was some kind of emergency. Waste of my time and effort and is yanking my chain.

Yes Carol, it is a drag. I just completely ignore them now. It has become a bit of a joke. Sometimes message from a person, sometimes an automated message saying to contact urgently. Dont know where these guys get off, but have a nerve calling continually.

Lloyds in India, every day for weeks

Recieved calls from this number but I usually wont answer an unknown number. If its important they leave a message normally.

In this case they wanted to ask about my payments made for a CCard.

I called the normal card support number 08456062171 instead of the number they provided in the message and it wasn't important.

Seems that in this case its just a nuisance more than anything malicious but I refuse to give any pricate details on an unsolicited call.

You should only need to 'authenticate' against your account if your calling them, not the other way around.
