- AnonymRoyds TSB just can't put a foot right these days...
http://www.mortgagestrategy.co.uk/loans/lloyd ... 1005380.article - Annieone missed call from this number today. didn't know the number so made online search and found this.
- ClaireI keep getting calls from these guys, asking for people I've never heard of (or maybe it's the same person, their English is so poor it's hard to understand a word they're saying). One woman caller last night (after 8pm!) said she'd have the number removed from their "list", but they left yet another message this morning!
I'm going to try & block the number - life's just too short! - AllysonGot a call this morning. I didnt recognise this number so didn't answer. I put the number on ask.com and found this. I will arrange to have this number blocked
- BGIt looks like they are trying again.... it is the 23rd of Jan 2010 Saturday... I've spoke to Asian woman, and was advised about problems with my Lloyds TSB account... couldn't even understand her...
- Caller: Lloyds tsb
- A N OtherIgnore the calls, and lodge an official complaint for harassment.
Write a letter to your local branch of LloydsTsb asking them to remove your details from thier files.
If it continues, see a solicitor (yellow pages), and ask their advice.
Phone your telephone Company, and have this number blocked. - JuliaCalled at 12:20pm today, asking for my Husband. I asked whether he was from a credit card company - "I can't tell a third partie, must speak to Mr M", I told him Mr M wouldn't be accepting his call and he became rude.
Man was ENGLISH!!!! very very ENGLISH!!!!
Find it very rude and totally against the law for Lloyds TSB to request MHA to call customers on a SUNDAY. We've been getting these calls anytime of the day and even upto 10pm at night.
I completely understand why the man/woman on the street are completely annoyed with the BANKS, especially if they continue to use bully boys to call customers! Perhaps, we should all withdraw our money and watch them all sweat!!!
I'll be writing to Lloyds TSB and MHA if I can find their details, they wouldn't give me any information over the phone as to who they were.
Also, my solicitor will be hearing and I'll have their number blocked!
Sound advice which I've gathered from this site and other users.- Caller: MHA
- :(The men rang to me and asked for my mom butg my mum dont speak english and i asked him if there is any problems and he said it is an d to ring back to loyds so we did but they said they didn't ring to us .
- Caller: lloyds
- Robert KellyYes its Lloyds TSB Card Services without doubt.
Always amuses me that these people can ask for your details but won't give you theirs!! I recently asked such a caller their date of birth in reponse to their request for mine!
Think about it - they are often calling your mobile and expecting you to drop everything else to speak to them as priority - arrogance of an impersonal organisation!
As far as I'm concerned, they can write - its less obtrusive and more able to identify! - Mrs M Nash| 1 replyThis joker along with the 03111 lot are seriously pi**ing me off. Day after day claiming to be from LLoyds Bank and I don't even have an account with them! I don't answer and it goes in my messages. Persistant buggers though.
AAAAAARGGHH!!!- Caller: claim to be Lloyds Bank
- Mrs M Nash| 4 repliesJust spoke to BT on 150 (my service provider) about 01273743574 and they have set up call barring for me starting tomorrow morning. It's free for one month (doesn't work with the 03111 though as they are international). BT also advised me to contact the Telephone Preference Service via TPS website and report the calls. TSP are separate from BT so you have to go to them direct. They can then pass info onto the police.
Hope that's useful to others out there who are plagued by these people. It IS a scam DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS AT ALL!- Caller: NOT lloyds tsb
- MickThis is Lloyds TSB. I've been ignoring these calls for years, barred the number as I did not want to deal with my debts. Trust me if you ignore them you will have baliffs on your door like I did this week.!!
- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- amythis IS a lloyds tsb number. it is from the debt management side, i was given it in branch when i got problems. now my account has been closed with them and i put it in a debt management plan, they ring me daily to try and get me to remove it and they will help me get it back in good state.
they are not allowed to ring you more than 3x a day. and you are in your right under data protection act to ask them to remove your number and contact you via paper!- Caller: lloyds tsb
- A Non E MouseMick - Do you work for this company? Trying to scare people into speaking to this shower of [***] on the phone?
'Bailiffs on your door' - that's a lie.
Debt collectors with no powers who you don't have to talk to and who you can slam the door in their face, maybe. And they'd be representing a collection agency Royds TSB have recruited, as opposed to Royds TSB themselves.
Bailiffs, no. You'd have to be taken to court for that, and Royds TSB are shaky about doing that - nor would they if they weren't 100% sure they had a cast iron case.
Mind you, this is Royds TSB, and there isn't a level of stupidity that exists which they aren't capable of surpassing. - normamind your own business

- TiaI received a call from this number about an hour ago. Was dubious about giving any info over the phone (the Indian lady did confirm some of my details, but could have picked them up from anywhere!) & thought it was strange to be contacted on a Sunday morning! I ended the call and called the number back which went through to an automated response giving the number 0845 3000 000. I also did a quick check online but other than these comments and something on Moneysupermarket, found nothing on the Lloyds TSB website so I called their main helpline number and spoke to someone in a UK call centre who confirmed it is legitimate and they are from Capital Collections (I am sure thats the name he gave) and they are based in India. They should be contacting customers who are in default on their accounts. I would suggest you contact Lloyds TSB and double check with them if you are in any doubt as I did.
- Caller: Capital Collections on behalf of Lloyds
- MickIve had calls from these morons since october 2009. I complained to lloyds and they sent me a letter saying they had removed my numbers from their files. The calls continued so i started writing down the times and letting my phone go straight to answer mode. Then I downloaded the messages to my laptop using windows recorder (found in accessories). I then contacted the Financial Ombudsman service, they sent lloyds a letter and told me if they continued to call I was to send them proof after six weeks. I have just sent the for a cd with all the calls/times /messages recorded. They have recieved same and told me that they are inundated with complaints (surprise surprise) and will be in touch a.s.a.p.
It may seem to be an awful lot of effort but the average fine imposed by the fos runs at around 50 (FIFTY) thousand pounds, so keep the faith, play the game and get recording.
I will post the result as soon as I get it.- Caller: Lloyds tsb
- tachaGot called by this number several times this week, had messages left saying it was urgent, to please contact my bank. Not surprisingly the bank had no reason for me to contact them??!! It was an Indian sounding woman calling me, who when she asked me for my details i gave her incorrect ones and then she said she could not continue with the call.
- A Non E MouseNo, Tia. It's best NOT to contact Royds TSB by telephone at all to confirm anything. Lying by phone and then denying the conversation ever happened is Royds TSB's speciality.
If anyone has to contact this company in ANY capacity, do it by recorded delivery letter. There is no reason to give any of the Royds TSB call jockeys any purpose to their jobs.
Royds TSB don't give a toss about your personal circumstances, so why should it be any different in reverse? - sharonany ideas how to block this from calling.... i get 3 x calls every day for the past 4 months.. this morning it was at 6am.... AND I DO NOT EVEN HAVE AN ACCOUNT AT LLOYDS.
- Caller: LLOYDS SO THEY SAY????
