- Mike| 1 replyHad a call from this number today, rude individual, who claimed to be calling from Lloyds Bank, when it's been Lloyds TSB for more years than I care to know.
Didn't follow any identification protocols but proceeded to tell me I was in arrears with payments on an account. I'm sure this breaks some major code of practice thing.
When challenged to identify and prove they were genuinely representing the bank, the caller hung up on me!
It therefore makes me highly suspicious that it's just a scam. If it isn't then LloydsTSB needs to audit these cowboys or better yet, start dealing directly and not through third rate call centres in some foreign country. It is totally unacceptable. Other banks can do it right, why can't these idiots?- Caller: Aledgedly Lloyds TSB

- CharlesWhat is wrong with these people?, i got a call, i had cleared my debt, i got a call from an advisor, who sounded very rude, advised me to clear my debt, i told him, that i did it, then he asked for my private details, i felt a bit suspecious, but this guy gave me three options for my date of birth, i gave him the correct one, and then i heard him say f**k this f**ker have cleared his debt, i question him on what he said, he then said hello, hello, pretending that there was a problem with the line and hung up. I called back got a manager Mr. Joshua, he sounded very Indian, he was not even polite, i have a very good credit history, it was just that due to some issues [personal] i fell into deep debt, but now i am back on my feet, the attitude of Mr. Joshua was very bad, i felt like taking a screaminng at him, but i did what i had to do, i withdrew my accounts from Lltsb i took away £100 000 000, i told my entire family to cancell their accoutn, they did it, Kiddos Ltsb, you have lost a wonderful customer.
- Caller: Lltsb

- Steven| 2 repliesI recieved a call to my mobile phone right now claiming to be lloyds tsb (dont they close at 5:30?). That being said they began on the wrong foot and pronounced my name horribly wrong. At this point I was really suspicious. He then claimed that I had unpaid debt and that I had missed my latest payment. I explained politely that this was impossible since I have ZERO debts, Im in debt to no one and so far never have. Secondly I questioned how they got my mobile number since I never give it to any company. The indian sounding man began to get a bit cheeky claiming everyone has debts and according to his computet I had at least 10k of debt. I maintained that I had no debt and he went silent for a few moments before coming back asking for some security questions so that he could help me out. At this point I was fed up with him and his call so I asked nicely for him to arrange for me to go into my local branch, meet an advisor and see what the problem was. The man then said goodbye and im positive me mumbled "f**ker" before hanging up.
I have since emailed lloyds tsb to find out if this is a scam which it really sounds like and if it is legitimate, I will complain about the conduct of its staff at the way he spoke to me. The email has been sent, I will make an update when I get a reply.- Caller: Claiming to be lloyds tsb

- Your help replies to MikeHi, If they told you that your account is in arreas without verifying who your are, without full name, first line of the address, postcode, and dob. then they breached Data Protection Act and you are enabled to recieve compensation from the bank, for breach of Data Protection Act. If you got any call records when or what time they made this call, then approach a solicitor, claim for a big compensation, pay a part of it to the solicitor, you are happy and so is your solicitor.
- your help replies to Steven| 1 replyHi Steven, 10K - this is not British, so if you are an Indian, it ok, i can help, send an email to ericdaniels@ltsb.com or eric.daniels@ltsb.com, you can send a mail to the chairman.
- Your help replies to CharlesWe would be interested to know which part of India..............
- KittyKAt| 1 replyThey call me constantly. They phone every second day and are now resorting to phoning my work's number as I have not called them back as requested. Can I put a block on this as it is superbly annoying? If I need to speak to my bank, I GO THERE! I do not appreciate calls from people who I cannot understand and who do not understand me (Scottish accent throws them!!!)
- Caller: "Lloyds TSB" Apparently
- Steven replies to your helpWhat are you talking about? "10k - this is not british?" so people in britain do not have the number 10,000?. Also I am not Indian, not that it would have anything to do with the matter. I do not need to send any emails to any chairman as I have taken the matter further by going down to my local branch and giving them all the details including the exact time of call, what was said/asked and the number. They checked there records and I am not on "the list" to be called about anything. I was told that the matter is now being fully investigated as I am not the only one to come in questionning the number.
Whoever it is thats doing the calling, it doesnt appear to be the real bank and I would strongly suggest hanging up or taking the matter up at your local branch - jayGot the Lloyds TSB calls everyone else on here has mentioned.
Now, I don't have a LTSB account. Never have done. Led them on for a while, they asked for security details for some account number apparently in my name. They didn't seem to know my address or email.
They are scammers with nothing but your name and number, trying to find out a lot more. - KittyKAt replies to KittyKAtIn reltion to the above message i posted, i have now been into the bank and they stated that they do not have a work's num ber for me, only a mobile number so i do not understand how they are phoning me!!!!!
- Phil| 1 replyJust received a call from this number. Asked for Miss Martinez - if your out there they want to talk to you! Having told them they had the wrong number, told me to hang up and delete the number! DOH good old 1471..........

- StawKept getting voicemail messages (1 per day) from a number 01273743574 asking me to call 08456006393. They were trying to contact someone called Ashley Collin - don't know who he/she is and I don't even have an account with Lloyds. Was getting fed up so I rang them on the 0845 number they supplied. When they answered they said it was Lloyds TSB credit card services. I told them I didn't know this person and that I don't have an account with them. They asked me 3 times if I knew this person and If he lived at my address and didn't seem to believe me when I said I didn't!! They also asked for my address which I refused to give them. In the end they said that they would remove my number and that I would not be getting any more calls from them. Let's see if they ring again tomorrow...
