It is the Lloyds credit card, there is nothing to worry about - if you speak to them once they will take stop ringing you - it is legitimate.

Don't ring them - send Royds TSB a letter explaining that their constant phoning has to stop.  Nothing can be achieved by speaking to them on the phone.

There are several debt advice sites that have excellent template letters for you to do this.

They state that they are from Llyods TSB - I have recieved 6 phonecalls from these people (that i answered anyway) and they are after the previous resident who lived here. I have told them, as you may have guessed that they no longer live here. I have just recieved another phone call today and asked to speak to their manager as this is getting ridiculous as they say that they will remove our number from their system (which they have quite clearly not) the man said he would find out if the manager was in so that i could speak to them and he said that it ws a personal issue. I still demanded to speak to the manager as i was not the person that they were after but i wanted something done about this. I waited a few moments and he hung up. IF THIS WAS LLOYDS THEY WOULD NOT HANG UP ON A CUSTOMER. THIS, I PRESUME, IS A SCAM AND BANKS WILL NOT CALL TO CONFIRM WHO YOU ARE AS THEY SHOULD KNOW WHO YOU ARE AS THEY ARE CALLING YOU. I WOULD JUST SUGGEST TO HANG UP IN FUTURE!!!

Lloyds TSB gave me a Duo Card. I didn't ask for it. It is a Lloyds TSB card AND an American Express Credit Card and we all know about them, don't we?
I didn't want it, so I paid off my account in full, or so I thought, only to start getting these harassing calls from Indian call centres saying that I owed Lloyds TSB the grand sum of 35p. To quote Victor Meldrew, I couldn't believe it!
I cut up my cards and sent them back to Lloyds Bank with 35p in stamps. (We of course bailed out Lloyds Bank and now partly own this outrageous 'bovver boy' who still insists on using our money to pay "bonuses" on top of their very good salaries. And yes, I am incensed by them!)
Lloyds TSB then added a late payment fee and then interest on that outstanding amount to my "account".
For the last 3 months we have been getting up to 4 calls per day. Sometimes from an Indian, like Khalid or Veejay or Sameers, (if you insist they tell you their name), sometimes an automatic (computer recorded) call asking you to call an 0845 number and often just a silent call, which traces back to 01273 743574. The calls happen anytime from 8am until 10pm 7 days a week and have caused rows in our house. This is anti-social and harassment gone mad. How can I get them to stop? HELP!
Oh and did you catch the name of these bankers - they are LLOYDS TSB. Don't even think about using them.

Kept getting phone calls fron 01273 743574. Eventually thet left a message saying they were from LLoyds. I phoned Lloyds and asked them if it was one of their numbers as it does not appear on their website. They confirmed it is one of their numbers used by a company in India,. Something to do with credit cards.

This number is for an Indian based company working on the behalf of lloyds tsb as a part of its credit card/debt management thing. That being said, I was told they are current reviewing its involvement after having many customers complaining about the Indian based company being rude, hanging up on people, asking for information that is not needed and in my case, swearing at me for not having any debt.

Although they are lloyds tsb in some respect, I would not give any details to these people and instead go into your branch, explain you got a call and see if they can help in branch. This company working on lloyds behalf just seem cheap and dodgy and I wouldnt put it past them selling the information onto other parties.

Call after call. When you do speak to them they do not know who they are! They can tell you who they are but ask THEM to prove it. They can't. Apparently according to Lloyds the Data protection Act only works one way.

Might well be Lloyds Tsb I had paid my Overdraft off when I was made redundent from work and had not used my account for 3 months I had left about £70 in my bank but was being charged for AA breakdown cover without my knowledge and don't even drive.  I received letters off the bank stating my bank was £3,000 overdrawn and called them they took the AA breakdown cover off my account, never offered so much as an apology and expect me to pay this back.  I phoned the A.A to ask for an invoice as to what I had paid them and they had no record of me ever being on there system.  Dirty robbing embezzlement cheating bankers

I have spoken with the Complaints team in Hove/Brighton Area. I have been getting calls from this number even after midnight. They have teams all over and have I witnessed some sinister practices going on in Lloyds TSB. One of which was call takers failing to log complaints and refusing to allow a branch manager to speak to their superiors!!!!!!!!

Just read through some of the historical posts on here. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has shafted by Lloyds TSB. I when I called them on a Sunday due to a problem, I went through to a Foreign Call Centre. When I asked for a call back the call taker "Huffed" and hung up on me!!!!!!! The problems I had got so bad I contacted the FSA.................but they told me they don't deal with individual complaints.........only larger scale reported problems. If the FSA won't deal with it, then these guys are un-touchable!!!!!!! But then the FSA is a government authority.............but wait a minute who owns 40% of Lloyds TSB. I feel like my account and the fee's they keep charging me exist to keep their debt riddled.....part publicly owned company afloat. They should have been left to collapse like some of the American Banks.

Are these Asian Scammers or Lloyds TSB. Judging by the posts here, there seems to be a conflict of opinion. I have received calls from "Lloyds TSB" every day since Sunday, sometimes twice a day asking for a Justin Maezler. I informed them no one of that name lives here and asked not ring again. They said they would delete my phone number from their database if I confirmed it, which I did. But I am wondering now whether I should have, as they already know it, they have rang it enough times. Have I given them information to sell or delve into my details? I do not bank with Lloyds TSB and have never had any dealings with them, so how were they able to phone me.  The more I think about it the more I smell a rat,  I can't believe a Bank would act in this manner.
