I received a call (on a business line not associated with the account) from this number at 8:30am today. The person (nigerian sounding male) asked for my husband by name and identified himself as calling from Lloyds but wouldn't give a department or his name. He got quite rude when I questioned him further.  Subsequently, my husband received 5 calls on his mobile from the same number (a nigerian sounding female) - just said his name and hung up.

My husband has called Lloyds who said that, while it is a Lloyds call centre number (though they insist the centre doesn't have access to his data!), the calls are NOT legitimate and they will be investigating why he was called (no reason on either his current account or credit card). In the meantime, they have put a watch on all his accounts.  It remains to be seen whether they do investigate and the calls stop.

Woman with strange indian voice rang up my kids answered hello, hello, woman had strange voice, asking for their dad, then phone went dead. dialling 14713 it just beeps.

Caller asked for me by name. Saying their from my bank. Asked for personal details. when I asked which bank. They refused to tell me. End of call.

i got a call from this number around 20:45 they called and asked for the head of the house and even gave the correct name, which would suppose that they are legit, however they then left a different number to the one on the caller ID: 08456006393
and during leaving this i noticed alot of laughing in the background, this i found unusual. i automatically searched the number and found that the number is a brighton number and then i found this site. i think that they are frauds that are tying to get personal information for their own use.

This telephone number has called me 4 times today. I have not answered the calls as i did not recognise the number, i googled the area code and I have found this site with the same number!!!

They are definitely Llyods TSB. Don't know what time they work till, but I receive calls at 21.00 hours. Ask them for a contact number and phone that rather than give them details over the phone. They can get very rude and like to shout a lot. Not very professional.

well im sorry to disagree with some of you, but its a fake. i went to my bank immediately after "the call". just as i suspected there was nothin wrong with my account. my bank manager then phoned the collection dept in brighton on a similar number and they had no record of  phoning my mobile number, which was 2 days old so they had no idea of my new number. if they phone again i shall record the call and tell them f#*k off, politely of course. please beware!!

these people are FRAUDS!! i advise everyone who gets a phone call from this number not to give their details because they are using different accents to act as if they are from different franchise companies just to improvise your accounts!!
they rang and tried to mess with us but we hung up!! i suggest you do that if you get calls and numbers you are not familiar with!!

I have just recieved my 3rd call from this number in the matter of 2days,i did not answer and googled the number to find this little gem of a site, im a LloydsTSB customer and im convinced this is the same "collections" number that the Lloyds main banking line pass you off to with regards to oweing them money or to set up repayment procedures on outstanding debt to the bank.

Previous when phoning the 0800 number i spoke to a friendly,helpful geordie girl....this happens a lot when dealing with normal banking procedures

however any time regarding sum sort of debt and im talking about minimum debt issues,i have been told "i cant access your account here....i have to pass you onto our "collections Centre"

Then its time to say "Adios" the friendly geordie girls and professional manner and its "hello" to the rude indian,sometimes african sounding amigos or amigettes with the sort of english im sure i havent heard before!!!..

very unprofessional and the fact that our personal details are at the fingertips of a 3rd Party disgusts me...My issue will get dealt with at my branch from now on not over the phone..peace of mind basically

when they call from the indian call centre always ask them what time it is there and what colour socks they are wearing, that always throws them off.
i wouldnt mind but i have never used them or their services so how they got my details is beyond me

i used to work for lloyds tsb collections department based in Brighton, and can therefore confirm that this is not a fraudulent number, but either the call centre in Brighton, or India trying to contact lloyds tsb customers. I understand the problems many have had and advise if you would like to stop the calls to call the telephone number sent on letters you have recieved. If you ignore the calls i can guarantee you they will not stop for a number of months, and arguing with the collectors on the phone doesnt resolve the situation, as they are ultimately, only doing their job. Sorting out a payment plan, even at a small amount a month (£1 someone suggested) solves the problem of your arrears, and stops the harrassment.

i had a telephone call from 'EMMA' at approx 8pm.  Asked for my Address and DoB. Wouldn't give me the pass word I set up with the bank ensuring the call was genuine. She stated did not have access to this!!! I ended the call stating I was visiting the bank the next day to sort anything out.

I have spoken to them and they were telling me how i had missed a payment on my loan, which i know and have explained the situation that im now with a debt managment plan! But to call me everyday now....im getting fed up!

Definitely Lloyds calling about a late payment, prob on your credit card. I refused to give info initially, went into branch next day and checked it out. they said it was legit so when they called back I gave them the info and paid the amount due on my Debit Card. It all went through OK and I have had no problems with odd withdrawals or charges appearing on either current or credit cards account.

Forgot to say that I now have it saved on home and mobile so it comes up as Lloyds. When I get a call I ignore it and go online to pay my bill instead. If I don't they just take it anyway if there's money in my account! Apparently it is in the TOC of the account.

just had one of these calls, well my wife did. said the man sounded english, and stated there was a problem with the account and they would phone back on Monday( it's Friday evening ). She phoned me at work and I phoned the customer service number. A nice man called peter confirmed the number was genuine and put me through to collections where I spoke with an indian women. it looks my my wife made a payment for me, but to the wrong account. Got it sorted etc, although she started asking me for alternative contact telephone numbers. Declined saying my home phone number was quite enough. She wasn't rude as such just difficult to understand and a bit by the book, no attempt to engage or empathise at all, bit like a robot really. Wish I never took out a CC with these people.

Just got a call from this.  Quickly googled and got to this site.  I don't have a Lloyds TSB credit card! Why would they be calling me?

These people have called several times before, but this is the first time they have left a message, (We have caller display, and don't answer). An Indian sounding gentleman said he was calling from Satchiari, Clark, & Mitchel and had a message for me, (he knew my first name and surname). He asked me to call back on 0845 600 4583, and said the office was open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Needless to say, I will NOT be making the call.

I've been getting calls around 3 or 3 a day, it's Lloyds TSB Credit Card. They really badger you for payment.
