- floraThese people have been calling me several times a day for weeks, I never answer and they are clogging up my answer phone with messages.
- jjThey call me on my mobile several times a day and leave answer phone messages saying it is an urgent call for Mr Neil Barratt and to call them back. I do not have a Lloyds TSB account and I am definatley not Neil Barratt.
- D+J RussellRang at 18.40 on 10th Nov. Indian sounding woman spoke to my son who hung the phone up. My wife then rang the number back and was asked for her name, date of birth and address. She gave none of these. I advise you to do the same. The woman said that she was from LloydsTSB. My wife declined to speak further and hung up.
When we came across this webpage we contacted LloydsTSB direct and they informed us that it was indeed one of their own but that it did sound strange. I intend to go into the local branch tomorrow to speak to a 'real person' about the problem.
I understand that even though the area code is Brighton, the office is in fact in India. It is a collections office for LloydsTSB. All very strange as neither me or my wife have a credit card or are in any way in arrears with any LloysTSB products.
The only thing that struck me was that some lowlife has taken out a card in mine or my wifes name and now the bank wants me or my wife to make payment. As I shred all my bills etc. this would be difficult but...

- LauraI dont even have caller ID on me phone and when it rang earlier i knew exactly who it was so picked the phone up and hung up.....next thing i know my mobile is ringing!!!! how have they got my mobile number!!!!!! Im going into my bank later.....a call everyday sumtimes twice a day, afta i have explained the situation and have asked to stop the phone calls...im getting really fed up now!
- venetiaI got a call from them today and they seemed okay. I said I didn't want to give out details as I don't know it's definitely them and he gave me my birth month and first letter of my postcode - all he wanted was date of birth and first line of the address. What can he get with that? He then explained what was wrong with my account.

Doesn't listen to anything that has been said. Repeats themselves over and again. They just haven't got a clue!!!!!!! - beckyThis is llyods tsb collections department. They call when your in arrears/ overdrawn. If you ignore the calls you may find yourself blacklisted and if you have a mortgage you may have your house repossessed. They do have to confirm your personal details before they can continue. Prob best not to ignore the calls!!

- ElaineI believe these phone calls are legit as I am in arrears with my CC, and a less than min payment was made on the first phone call, after a long and intimidating phone calls demanding I pay at least £100. I explained that I had been unemployed(by choice) for 12 weeks and was starting to get back on track now I am back to work but could pay no more than £20, I was then told this was not enough, how do you want me to feed my children on £11 I asked and explained that I have discussed my situation with my bank manager, but apparently they are not connected. This is the first time in over a year I have missed a payment, it was not intentional just an oversight I always pay over the minimum payment when I can. I feel that these non-english calls centers have no compassion or understanding and Lloyd's have now lost a CC customer as it has been cut up. Phone calls on Sundays and after 18.00 at night are not appropriate. I will be making a formal complaint. THIS IS INTIMIDATING and HARASSMENT

- Rachel| 1 replyThis number has been calling me after 10pm and before 8am every day,they ask me to confirm details saying they are from Lloyds Tsb. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION!! Lloyds do not use this number!!!!!
- LynYes, this number is definately legit. But the way they handle things is shockingly bad. They keep ringing my number to speak to my son, I tell them he moved out 2 years ago and ask them to ring him on his own number which Lloyds checked with me for accuracy. But they still ring me 2/3 times a day, my son says he hasn't received any calls (!!). By now I am nearly shouting down the line at them each time, so they hang up but keep calling. I've complained by email to Lloyds who gave me a 0845 number to ring and I ask them why should I be sorting out their problem for them. Nevertheless I ring the 0845 number hoping to get some peace and they say they can't speak to me because I am not the customer!!!!! Beat that for customer care.

When I explained that I dont give out this information on the phone the caller continued to talk over me and not listen to what I was saying.
I wasnt prepared to give my personal contact details.
I contacted Lloyds TSB Credit Card services in the UK and they confirmed that it was a legitimate call however they also confirmed that this isnt appropriate customer service.
I have told Lloyds TSB Credit Card services in the UK that I wish for this to be noted as a formal complaint and will be following it up with them.

- RobbedNo Wonder the Banking industry is in the s##t some Clown sat at a desk Harrassing people, lets hope that due to the credit crunch that there are loads of redundancies in this sector and they can feel the pinch as the rest of us, mind you they get preferential rates on their loans subsidised by us through bank charges etc no doubt.

- LauraI have also been receiving constant calls from them missed my credit card payment by 1 day which i promptly paid the next day. They rang up just minutes ago asking for the first line of my address which i wouldn't give so they directed me to go into my local branch. The woman was very rude, i've decided to do a balance transfer on another card as their customer service is shocking to say the least it was only a £15 minimum payment and my phone is now clogged with messages.
