I had a call from this number, company called motor trade directory, I believe its a scam company

I have calls daily from this company and now i just ignore the number as they will NOT take you off their call list once they have got you to talk to them. They are an advertising company that make a nuisance of themselves. They called me and i said yeah sounds good but i'm on holiday for 2 weeks so can you call me on a specific date? They or a girl called Lesley phoned me 3 times a day after being told i was on holiday. Ignore them people they are scum !!!!

Got a call this morning, as I am courier, he offered me more work, I knew the setup before he spoke, call center noises in the background, I said "absolutely!! if you want to book a job I will need your credit card details first", he was trying to explain that I had to give him money........I acted stupid for a while then said If you want to book a job I need your credit card details if not P**S OFF!

I chuckled!

As we are couriers to we had a call yesterday and a call today, lost my rag with him today told to F*%K OFF, said he was boring me!

Called me, spoke loud with all their bulls*-t. Told them I was with yell and she kept saying their rubbish after 30mins of it she said well hope u don't get ripped off then hung up! I won't get ripped off as I won't be using them! Lol

He call me today & listening to his voice sounds like maybe a gypsy or a scam. first he offered a advert for £200 then dropped down to £100. Such a big drop for a simple call!! NOT INTERESTED...............

Got a call this morning from woman called Lesley..no company name given..offering a collating service for getting taxi jobs to any airport in the country. The cost was a one off £200.00 "because it is Friday". Required her to send me e mail with information and I would consider. Checked on this website and now will report to the necessary authorities.

I had a call from this number Motor trade`s telling me my advert is automatically due for renewal, at a cost
of £380.00 minus a £50.00 discount. we i have not signed a two year contract, ( as they say i have ) so
i told them if i have any more phone calls i will tell the Federation of small businesses, ( of which i am a member ) that will show em. don`t i will be hearing any more from them.

Sadly I got done by these to$$ers in Feb 2010. HAd a call about advertising on their website, all sounded ok, got a form by email, signed it for a years adverts for £70 a month. Three consecutive days running I got a call from BEN saying we can do this for you I ended up having FOUR contracts that I thought superseeded but NO I got charged for 4 different contracts!! Really stressed me out as over a week I had over £600 taken out my account. I went to their office and demanded to speak with them eventually someone came down I and I asked for a refund, after some arguing they agreed and I got some money back. Four weeks ago I answered my phone to this number in error ( I normally recognise it!) and the fella said my contract was up for renewal, He said they would give me £50 off today but still said it would cost £1800 if I didn't the contract would cost £7000! I never got one job out of them in a year apart from a phone call the day my ad went live from a lady from guess where, Brentwood!!  So beware!!! This lot need reporting and closed down by the relevant authorities.

Had a guy asking 'who do I speak to about a customer referral'? I said 'would you like to book in? It'll be next week now'. He said 'is that a typical length of time to wait', I said 'it's usually two working days, which is next Tuesday'. He said 'who should I speak to about a customer referral' again, I said 'a chap called John is usually here, or I can book in now if you like'? He said 'I'll speak to John'. WEIRD CALL!

Nice to hear you source your numbers via the internet and pay no attention to the TPS regulations.

As to providing a known bunch of cold calling idiots with an email address to spam as well, I'll pass and just add you to my call block software instead.

We do not ever send email spam - we were simply attempting to ensure that we do not call you again, but without more specifics, e.g. your telephone number or contact details it is impossible for us to update our database with a DO NOT CALL marker.

However, if you have call blocking software please also block 01277 897770 and 01277 897773 as these are also outbound CLI's which could call you.
