Had a message left from this number ( previously they have phoned as Motor trade directories) the message left said his name was Billy and could I call him back on 07766 390*** as he was after a quote for some work to be done.
Knowing this to be a scam I did ring but got through to another Billy (sounded completely different to the person that left the message)  and he  had been getting loads of different calls that day from various companies and was obviously quite annoyed.
So this company seem to be giving out this number on purpose, they really are low life.
PLEASE DO NOT RING BILLY BACK ITS NOT THE SAME PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't ring billy it's a premium rate scam and the charges are £4 minute it's based in Nigeria

Took out a yearly advertising policy with ufindalocal sold me a new policy and then said i had no choice but to take it out as they had my bank details. Going through the complaints proceedure now and suprise suprise they dont have the recording of the pushy message and yes i know you have millions of calls however so do Aviva et al and they all manage to record ALL calls!

And I got free DVD player

I also had a missed call from billy. He was trying to get a Flymo serviced and was very very rude

I worked there for a while Stuart hardy really professional guy told me all about how great the company was but Steve jakes the guy that owns it is the rudest man I have ever met and no way I would work for him and then left. He just walks about shouting all day.

As this is a site for people trying to find out who has called them it seems quite strange tge people woukd search for the number to then write they have lost in court against the company. based on other posts i wonder whether this is a veiled attempt to stop people complaining about the companies underhand selling tactics

How can you remove people from the calling list when there isn't one? I got a job here in the Brentwood office undercover and was disgraced with what I witnessed, A yellow Pages dumped on your desk and a quick look on the internet every morning for company numbers to call and try and sell to so no Motortrades do not adhere to TPS and the methods they use to get these so called leads is against the law. So motortrades have a law suit coming, Stay clear Dan the main man seriously needs to change things

Lol not the case! there are no yellow pages whatsoever there and staff do have to update databases if people dont want to be called and steve spends loads of money on data that is tps cleansed so get yer facts right mate! and i should know as i have worked there 6 months

This needs sorting out by the fraud squad. I paid £800 to advertise with ufindalocal.com last year. I got a phone call out the blue from a guy called Wes to say I now owe them 15K and to meet in a layby on the M25 junction 28 to pay separate cheques to the value of 15K to Resourcer Group Limited. If I didn't do as he said they would issue me with a court order. I've been to the police and I am going to trading standards.They took £2600 out of my account already.

UFINDALOCAL  are a scam site i have called over 100 adds listed on there site and so far only found 3 that have placed an add they dont have right to do what they are doing do not have any thing to do with them THIS IS A SCAM REPORT THEM THEY MUST BE STOPED  THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF

We would only ever bill payments agreed with you, either in a signed agreement in the case of directory services, or by a recorded telephone call in the case of web related products. If we have billed you £2,600.00 as stated, you will have recently made an order with us.

We have discussed your complaint at length on 30 and 31 October and also 01 November in both recorded telephone calls and also in various emails. You threatened a young lady on our reception when you contacted our Call Centre on 30 October 2013. We agreed to write to you on 01 November and you signed for that letter from Royal Mail Track and Trace reference SF 109075278GB at 0807 yesterday morning.

In future if you do contact our Call Centre you should refrain from making threats to the young ladies that answer the call.
