I worked at that Colchester shambles and never got paid. Hardly my fault it all went wrong is it? He still owes me and others. A big fall will be happening very soon.

What were your sales figures Trantor? Probably [***] so yes it is partly your fault it all went wrong. I worked at Colchester and left because apart from Kerri nobody could sell. David, the older guy was one of the worse sales people I have ever seen. He would sit there trying to help people which was funny coz he was useless. In fact he was about to get sacked but then they closed the office.

So mike is it my fault he was evicted from brentwood for not paying his rent too?? Is it my fault Steve was always stinking of alcohol and humiliated staff? That my fault too is it??

From what I remember you didn`t even cover your basic so please explain why you deserved being paid in the first place? Also why don`t you put your real name on here instead of acting like a coward. At least if Steve had a problem with someone he told them. If you were hitting your targets he wouldn`t havehad a issue with you would he!!

Made me laugh coz Steve was sooooo rude about Andrea at brentwood she left and he ended up getting her back but was probably still rude behind her back. Glad she's doing well now. Good luck babe

I can honestly say Steve Jakes is one of the nastiest aggressive individuals I've ever had the misfortune to meet who'd do his best to manipulate people to do whatever he wanted. If anyone dared to speak out about him or question him he'd ridicule them in front of anyone that would listen. The man should be stopped from trading like this..... His tempers were uncontrolled and he would be very demanding yet be happy doing nothing himself. It's certainly interesting to see Motortrades insight hasn't filed accounts at company house for a long time and a few of us are watching with interest to see what happens! Jakes has made too many enemies for his way of working to go unchecked

Anyone that comes on defending jakes is either being paid by him or sleeping with him. Period.

Steve deserves everything he gets.the way he used to boast about spending £1000 on coke was just sad beyond everything but he thought it made him look good for some strange reason.? Self destuct

What a to$$er. Y would anyone boast about an addiction to drugs that only end up destroying lives? Some days Steve would come in with a cocaine cold and just scream and shout... You could feel the atmosphere change the minute he got there and watch sales fall within an hour of him being there.....

Thing is if your an addict the only thing that matters is the drugs... You ignore friends. You change your personality. You become lazzzzy. You neglect your job. You become paranoid and always seek to blame others for your own failings. Recognise these traits??

That's Steve through and through. OMG it really is. An egotist who just wanted his own way and would bully and manipulate people to do whatever he wanted done. Remember once he sent an ema out at half 3 in the morning and basically threatened all the managers would lose their jobs if they didn't hit targets ..... What a way to speak to people.

Thing is people seem surprised to learn about Steve from this forum but they shouldn't. There have been historic things published about him including drink driving. Over payment of benefits. Bankruptcy. Community Service. Drug abuse. Being admitted to the priory hospital over drugs. Making violent threats.... Some of the items appeared in the local newspapers eg community service and drink driving and bank ruptcy ... This tells you all you need to know I think. I Think drink driving with his kids in the car might be the lowest of the low from this list but you decide!!

Nope I don't think it is true but he was fine for drink driving that was in the paper and he got fined by the courts lol

Steve deliberately pushed ufindalocal into liquidation so he could buy it back for a few grand from the liquidators and write off some debts I've been told.
