My god there's some very sad people in the world aren't there! From time to time I have a look on this forum as an ex customer who was tucked up by the ever so polite "brad" for an ever so expensive and slippery "automatic renewal" that I never needed or for that matter wanted! However, I have said before and will say so again that from what I can see, there only appears to be ex staff with hurt feelings on here and any ex customers (the people with a right to be pissed off) have moved on with there lives - quite literally years ago!!! You people were no doubt happy to collect a wage slip each month and even after I acknowledge how bad a place to work it seems to have been, you were not held at gun point to stay there. You all knew that by selling, you were condemning that customer to a world of pain 12 months down the line but you did it anyway! You have no right to be upset about being shouted at and called a few names because honestly, you deserve it! Steve Jakes clearly didn't care about you then and I'll wager doesn't care about you now. Just grow up, shut up and move on because the only thing you're achieving is not letting your old wounds heal. You won't get an apology and don't deserve one.

Steve did not pay my final wages and I have a right to be p'd off considering he still owns unfindalocal and Motortrades etc and drives about in a flash Audi

If that's the case eg Steve deliberately pushed unfindalocal and Motortrades into liquidation so he could buy them back for a grand without any debts its bang out of order.... He's obviously cleverer than he looks lol

hahahahaha for years people have been saying watch this space regarding Steve Jakes and nothing ever happens. You lot need to get a life and move on

Steve jakes pushed ufindalocal into liquidation and bought it back from liquidators for a few grand minus the unpaid bills..... Even if he paid 50 grand for it they'd sell say £20k a week on it he'd make a fortune.

According to liquidators office his new company search media ltd brought it back later that month for an undisclosed sum

I think he's doing the same now with Motortrades insight ltd there's a notice on company house about being dissolved

Don't think search media is recruiting anymore they've not tweeted any jobs since early August

Just called their london telephone number and its answered in Chelmsford so they are still trading .....

Interesting they've got a london number when they are in Essex lol seems they like to give impression they are in london lol
Customers should call their bluff and ask to write to them and for their postal address and see Mr Jakes says to that lol

Golfer....loads of company`s have a London number but are not based in London. That`s normal practice for a business. Wouldn`t expect you to understand that though being the jumped up little nobody that you are.

It is a well known trick used by scam companies - a London address which is nothing more than a letter box in a public toilet to try to impress the gullible. Then again what else would you expect - anything legit is not his style.

Saw 2 of jakes boys on Skye recruitment website. Must have left him. Who works there now? Steve, Nicky, mark, James. Who else? Must be the final act now.

One of my friends who worked for Steve before at brentwood is going to get a job there again in Chelmsford to see what's going on... He's a good salesman so as long as Steves not too tight on the package offered he will deffo start there and report back lol... He's gonna speak to Steve in a week I think and hopefully start a week or so later lol
