    An ownership opportunity has arisen at Search Media Legal Recruitment where we are seeking an experienced motivated individual to undertake the day to day responsibilities of running the recruitment business, managing the current client base, customer acquisition and establishing the Search Media Legal brand within the legal sector from our offices based in Chelmsford, Essex.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 360 recruitment consultant with entrepreneurial spirit who is looking to take on a director's role and have the responsibility of building a brand, and developing and training a successful team of consultants into other sectors or vertical markets.

    The right individual must have the ability to manage client expectations, have excellent staff management experience and have strong organisational skills. The business will have the full support of an award winning web design and CRM development team, and have recently designed and developed a mobile friendly website with job board, and a functional bespoke recruitment CRM.  Search Media also has an established social media presence through Linked IN, Facebook and Twitter.

    The Directors role is demanding and diverse and by default the individual must have the following skill set:-
    • using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from client companies;
    • developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do and their work culture and environment;
    • visiting clients to build and develop relationships;
    • advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media, for example newspapers, websites, magazines;
    • using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers;
    • headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work;
    • using candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy;
    • receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client;
    • requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client;
    • briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question;
    • organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client
    • informing candidates about the results of their interviews;
    • negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates;
    • offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression;
    • working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated;
    • reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.

    This role has no salary but we are offering up to 25% equity of the business at certain targeted touch points and a healthy commission on all business generated.

    Love the last few lines about no salary but up to 25% share in a company so what Steve Jakes is saying is you do all the work for no salary and you might get 25% shares in a company lol might get note those words and "carries no salary"!!

    I'm watching company house Cardiff website daily because Motortrades insight limited did trade in 2014 despite what was claimed on this forum earlier in the year and a customer who posted says he has an invoice made out to them in that period by that company...  So either Steve Jakes files his accounts and pays his tax or he doesn't file accounts and closes the company down and that's when I'll spring into action and report him to the authorities at company house. Watching with interest lol it's gonna get interesting lol

    Last comment - how very, very sad and boring your life must be that you're "watching with interest" ready to "spring into action" you worked for Steve HOW LONG AGO? seriously mate, have you literally got so little going on that you're creating posts trying to sound like an investigative reporter lol You were probably worse than useless when you worked for Steve and got called a few names and sacked. I bet the guy doesn't even remember you but like a good little keyboard warrior you're going to try and make damn sure that the nasty man pays. Now to be fair, I worked for Steve too and it wasn't great at times but come on, stop looking like a wet packet and just move on.
