But you know what,why should Steve be allowed to get away with it just because he can? I'm sorry but the law is the law and shutting a company down that's traded without paying the taxes is illegal and if tries it with Motortrades insight or whatever's his called it now he should be reported...... Like it or not the law is the law and he should be made to comply. Wonder why the reg office address isn't right on the website too? ? ? ? His office is in Chelmsford yet part of the website says brentwood and another part says reg office near Maldon both wrong PMSL

He did do a bit of mouthing off and generally being rude about his customers and checking Facebook and moaning Bout his wife too.... That all took time and energy you know. Give the bloke a break lol

An ownership opportunity has arisen at Search Media Legal Recruitment where we are seeking an experienced motivated individual to undertake the day to day responsibilities of running the recruitment business, managing the current client base, customer acquisition and establishing the Search Media Legal brand within the legal sector from our offices based in Chelmsford, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 360 recruitment consultant with entrepreneurial spirit who is looking to take on a director's role and have the responsibility of building a brand, and developing and training a successful team of consultants into other sectors or vertical markets.

The right individual must have the ability to manage client expectations, have excellent staff management experience and have strong organisational skills. The business will have the full support of an award winning web design and CRM development team, and have recently designed and developed a mobile friendly website with job board, and a functional bespoke recruitment CRM.  Search Media also has an established social media presence through Linked IN, Facebook and Twitter.

The Directors role is demanding and diverse and by default the individual must have the following skill set:-
• using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from client companies;
• developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do and their work culture and environment;
• visiting clients to build and develop relationships;
• advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media, for example newspapers, websites, magazines;
• using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and employers;
• headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work;
• using candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy;
• receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client;
• requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client;
• briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question;
• organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client
• informing candidates about the results of their interviews;
• negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates;
• offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression;
• working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated;
• reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.

This role has no salary but we are offering up to 25% equity of the business at certain targeted touch points and a healthy commission on all business generated.

I've just read that job description called an "opportunity" ... Oh my god is that genuine ? If so jakes is more deluded than everyone thought...... In fact I've just copied and pasted the text into google and it's very genuine it appears on the search media website !!! PMSL that's so funny. Doctor for jakes? As though anyone would do all that work for no salary...... And put up with Steve Jakes' antics. When I worked at regent house Steve would come in stinking of alcohol and I mean stinking of it (and yes he drove in))) then scream and kick off at the sales teams undermining his sales manager and usually sales would fall. Then he'd go home and scream a bit more in the office on his way out thumping the wall just to show how 'hard' he woz and within a few mins his sales manager would have to get everyone off the phones and say "don't worry he's gone home now" and then the sales would start again.. Stuart's face in the corner (he was the trainer) was a picture! Lol. God bless Steve Jakes

Limbo girls- A companies registered office is usually the company accountants address and not the trading address. They are two totally different things and it`s standard practice for a company to have the registered office as the company`s accounts address so before you post on here and make yourself look stupid you may want to go away and learn a bit about business. Just a bit of advise for you.

Jakes dismissed mark I herd and now his working in solar? Or recruitment? Andrea left or was sacked. James works from home and Nikki does her nails and checks in on Facebook quite a lot. Steve still busies himself doing nothing much.
