I got a call from this number today at 14:22hrs. As soon as my 'call blocker' kicked in (phone rings once to get caller i.d then announces that the subscriber does not accept calls from unknown parties, known users enter a single digit key to bypass the system) they hung up, as per usual.

This is the 5th time they have called asking or my daughter, gonna pretend to be her next time if they ring again, have emailed them asking to be removed from list, will see :)

They will not stop bloody phoning me and its driving me mad its at least 3 times a day at the minute!!!!!!!

I've been ignoring this number for some time but i got so fed up of it that i have now written to them explaining the law and my rights, i spoke to one particularly stupid operative (where do they find these morons who will work for such a [***] organisation and have no guilt for harassing people!!!)and told them i would report them to the police and trading standards and ofcom if i had one more call, "remove my details from your database NOW or i will sue for harassment"...
what part of "do not call me" are they having trouble understanding???
I AM CONVINCED THAT THIS IS RELATED TO NON PAYMENT OF A CAPITAL ONE PAYMENT AND THAT THEY PASS ON DETAILS TO COLLECTION DEPTS WHICH ARE NOT SECURE AND RELEASE INFO TO THIRD PARTIES DELIBERATELY TO HARASS DEBTORS, THEREFORE THEY ARE ACTING ILLEGALLY... i did not receive ANY random calls until AFTER i had missed a capital one payment. coincidence??? i know not!!! Called me tonight so I answered and said nothing :-) he said hello about 5 times and got fed up and hung up ... Good Boy .. LOL

Could be Capital One .. they just called me 2 Mins after I got a call from this number ... This time they used one of the 0113 Numbers ... Wasters

Called @ 1838.Would not speak to me, wanted another person in the house quoted the data protection act. They asked if the person requested could ring them back. No chance

14:09hrs 29.08.09 my house phone rings.  I don't recognise the the number but as we are dealing with a elderley family members problem I answer it.  I said hello twice before she says hello then hangs up.  How intimidating am I when the nuisance callers hang up on me.  I rang it back to have a word and listened the the message then Googled them and found this thread.
I noted the number and left it by the phone as one to ignore.

hung up as answered , did not ring back in case it was costly

called me today at 5.03pm.
didn't answer as I was at work.
I don't have any debts and only one credit card through my bank
so it cant have anything to do with that.
well from what i've read above if they call again then I won't feel guilty for telling them where to go!!

Of course, when you email them they then have an address that they can bombard. Better to take your number off their list by phone. Make a note of when you told them to remove your number. Then if they start up again your solicitor has all the evidence he needs to proceed on your behalf.

Got quite a few calls from a number 020886 18682, claimiing to be from IPSOS MORI, asking for my daughter, they have rang about twice a day for a few days now, i would normally ignore any numbers i dont recognise, but as my daughter is away i thought better of it this time.......told them not to bother ringing again, the phone number is different to the one listed above i noticed!!!!!!

I attended a college course 2 years ago and this number recieved my mobile number (actually my moms at first) They called my mom's mobile asking for me but stressing it was extremely important couldnt tell her incase she didnt no!! This obviously made my mom very distressed and contact me immediately whilst i was away. My mom foolishly gave them my number when they phoned again and they have rang me for 2 months every day sometime twice a day. I answer and quite frank i cannot be [***] with the crap - GET A REAL JOB LIKE THE REST OF US!!! I am in the process of writing an email askin them to stop ringin me. called this afternoon leaving a message that they are a surveying company. Surveying what? Decided not to call back as i do not want surveying done.

Sick to death of this company calling me, 3 to 4 times a day for the last 2 week,
told them i will not answer any of the question so stop calling,
have caller display so when this number now comes up i pick up the phone then leave it for a few seconds then put it down, let them waste their money.
am about to report them on the TPS site, worth a try.

had this number ring,ignored it as have caller id, getting fed up of people ringing and having to ignore it constantly!

its just past 8pm and i had a call from this number: 01313012940. I didn't answer as no-one, not even my friends have the number they called. i checked it online and i found this page. now i know not to even consider answering it :)

they just tried ringing me, hung up before i answered but i knew from the number it was a marketing thing, i've had them calling me before on my old number back when i was about 17, now 19 and i've had my iPhone and the number since january i think and no companies should have it except for my bank! i will truly give them some [***] over the phone if i manage to catch the call... if they carry on calling i will report them in every official way possible.

Their web site claims market research is not included in TPS remit, so they just call anyway.

They called a mobile number - what use is that to "geographic" surveys, unless they have access to location data from O2 ?
