I have just received a call off this number I refused the call I would recommend doing the same.

Had two calls from these guys to my unlisted number. Its a new number and not in the book so I'd like to know how they have it. I think i made a mistake the by telling them I didn't have time the first time they called. When they ring back I'll have a go at em.

Had these tossers call me today......ignore them!! Yet another useless company that can't get the clients or information they want without harassing people who have better things to do with their time than talk to them.

got a call tonight at 8 PM. It is annoying they called me few times in the past.

This number called yesterday (28/05/08) and again today both just after 3pm, luckily i work and the call wasn't answered, now i know who they are i will answer and ask them to hold while i say good bye to a person at the front door and keep them waiting on the line while i watch TV, these companies hate it.

This number has been ringing me for the last few days, but as I don't pick up callers I don't know, I did not pick up.

Last few days this numer called twice a day. I have no clue who they are, but as soon as I sort out one of these calls- the other starst calling. This is so intrusive and it makes me upset that somebody can get my number ( wich is private) and give themself permission to call me whenever they want.

Calling me in Ireland on a new ex directory number. They called me today on a Sunday.
Didn't answer it and now won't after finding this site.
doesn't seem that anything can be done to stop them as they are not marketing anything.

It's IPSOS-MORI.  They are a survey firm and a well-known nuisance caller.  There is a loophole in the law which allows them to make unsolicited calls because they are not actually selling anything.  They can disregard the Telephone Preference Service.  However they are not exempt from the law of harrassment and if you tell them just ONCE not to call you, they must cease permanently, otherwise they are in breach of the law. If that happens, report it to the ICO.

They spoke to my son then hung up before i could take the call.

I was told I was ignorant because I would not speak to them ?.

I just got a couple of these calls too.  I called their switchboard number (0131 220 5699) who gave me the call centre number: 0131 467 6666.  With good grace they agreed to put my number on a 'do not call' database.  I await no further calls with baited breath!

Received one call yesterday but couldn't answer as the phone was not charged, then they called again tonight and I picked up and....nothing...just some typing and background noises! Got the number from 1471 and googled it.
I guess they were just dialling and not saying anything so it looks like they were calling people on their worksheets.

phone rang this morning but i was in the 'loo' so unable to answer it - dialled 1471 and got 01313012940.  reading the above comments i am pleased i didn't answer the phone.  as we have a phone where the number appears on the handset of the person ringing, i shall be aware next time they call and not answer it again !!!!  we are ex-directory too !!

Received this call today at 12 noon on a SUNDAY!! do we not even get Sunday's off from these nuisance calls. We get so many calls from mobile companies, scam holiday calls etc etc, that we no longer answer our phone and just 1471 it after.

Called yesterday 12 June at 7.45 ignored the call as it transferred to my mobile.

Was away for a few days recently and on return, found this number had called eight times over three days.  
Curiosity made me Google the number which lead me here.  
Glad I missed the calls.
