Had these idiots call me 4 times on one day, and continually call on and off. I generally don't answer when looking at caller ID.

As for TPS. Sometimes these people claim they are marketing so can get away with it, but somewhere down the line there's money involved. Problem is you have to string it along enough to get to that point where you can determine they've broken the law. I just filter the calls. Less hassle.

Iposos Mori is a market research company, so the likes of Sky, Ford, NPower, even schools and universities will emply them to ring us. They are not answerable to TPS because of some loophole, and they also call on other numbers, such as 02088618682.

I'm quite certain they're calling me so often because I haven't answered the National Student Survey. That's what makes this a fun game.

Called me twice in the last two weeks but i didnt pick up on both times.
Using this website is very helpful in dealing with the pesky hasslers.

Thoroughly irritating and dismayed at the sheer ignorance and incessant nature of these types of caller. Quite clearly morons employing more of the same. Why don't they just talk to their own peers and leave those with some work to do to get on with our lives without such banal pratices.
Wish them all an early demise and failure whatever their pursuit.

Called my wifes mobile today at 6pm said they were from the court service asking if we'd recevied a questionaire through the post. Luckily my wife had the sense not to give them any info, but no doubt they'll try again soon.

01313012940 called today at 2011 hours wanting to discuss job placements. I am ex directory. Told them I did not have time but are ringing back tomorrow.Now I know a little more from this site I can be armed with some strong comments.

Has been calling me 3 to 4 times a day for the last 2 weeks except weekends. They mostly call me in the afternoon. When someone rings and doesn't leave a message I never pick up the next time. These however are the most persistant to date.

called this morning at 10.30 (saturday) was having a lie in but rushed to the living room as i was kinda expecting an important call. it rang off before i got there. 1471'd it, then googled it. and found this site. i usually have my landline telephone unplugged because of this very thing. i've now unplugged it again. Telephone companies should realise they are losing out on potential revenue because of these nuisance calls. but they make more money i guess from not blocking them. if i sound cynical and in a huff, it's 'cause i stubbed my toe running for the phone!
At least they don't with- hold their numbers like some of these scam companies. sites like this are incredibly useful. I too am ex-directory, and seldom give out my home number.

This number has been pestering me 3 times a day every day since I first hung up about a week ago.  I have caller ID so don't pick up but glad I have found info on the web which gives some peace of mind!!

what kind of rubbish is that ? how could they call me in first place- dont we have anything like privacy protection ? to me its like with a web scam - it is ilegal and we have a right to take em to the court!!! I got this phone calls while i am with O2 - really annoying and frst thing im gonna do on monday is give em a call. So rubbish!!

Yep, I had a misdiall from this number today 5th May 2008

this number has called me 5 times in the past week, a couple at rather unsociable hours - having read this thread, I guess it is a scam - could someone please confirm and suggest a way to be rid of the caller

This number called me last night and again this morning. I let it go to voicemail and no message was left. If they called again then I'll phone them back and give them grief!

This number constantly is calling me, don't know about you lot but I don't answer to 'unknown' numbers.  Now I know it is a research body I'm even more p**sed.

This number called me 6 times yesterday and 9 times today! Argh!

This number has just called me today, 18th May 2008 - they asked if I would like to take part in some question thing, said it will ONLY take about 25mins.  I said, "I'm busy right now but give me your home number and I'll ring YOU when YOU'RE really busy looking after 3 kids whilst juggling running a home and working!"  He said "That's not really the policy."  I hung up after that!

3 calls in 24 hours! they are a menace. Don't bother ringing them as you get a useless answerphone message
