rang today at 17:15 scottish woman,never understood a word she said, so hung up

Have had a few of these calls now but never answered as i dont know who they are but am getting fed up with them! Just had 1 at 8:45pm not on

They're persistent - calling late in the evening and at weekends!!!!  They've been trying me for about a week now.

This number repeatedly called mobile during day but never anyone there.

Would having recently used compare the market.com have any bearing on this?????????

If you ring 0131 220 5699 and complain they say they will put you on their "don't call" list.

Being called 4-5 times a day - every day including Sundays and evenings.  I reject the call each time, but they just keep ringing.  I fear I may have to give up and answer to tell them to stop ringing - but I've read one of these comments that said they became more persistant if you told them to stop ringing.  Just tried to ring the number suggested above - oddly no answer....so it's only OK to call us late at night!!  VERY ANNOYING :/

Had 4-5 calls per day for the last week from these morons, they never give up. They seem to retry every 3 hours up to about 8pm

I was called on 17/5/12 @20.41 hours (01669620241).This type of late evening call is totally unacceptable.Do not ever call again.

these phone calls are p....me off all day long even if you dont answer they still
keep ringing i just pick up phone and put it straight down.dont answer them or they

but it is a joke as we pay for phone line and dont expect to be

Calling me non-stop too. I don't hng around on the calls to see who it is. If it is Ipsos-Mori though, call their HQ number in Harrow on 020 8861 8000 to complain.

I have read through the entire thread and have failed to find one insult from Ipsos MORI staff - the insults are in fact coming from others. Please read the terms and condition re the TPS - it does not cover market research. I repeat that if you don't want to receive these calls then just say so when called and you won't be bothered again.

People get really fed up at being called multiple times by all sorts of people and it is not surprising that they lose their tempers.  Just telling the caller to remove your number does not work.  However, as I said on Page 38 of this thread, if you go to their website and e-mail them, telling them to remove your details from ALL (that is important) their data bases, that does work. I have not had another call since then.  It is a shame TPS does not stop these calls, but then again, it is the Market Research companies who pay for TPS, otherwise it would be the taxpayer.

I had a call to-day from this number.  I too am ex-directory and asked the gentleman where he had my number from.  He said he had an area code and that the computer randomly picks numbers.  I did not take part in his poll.

I had this number call me today and it was a pain

For the past 2 nights around 5pm I have received calls from this number.  I did not answer because I did not recognise the caller.

I asked where they got the number from, they said it was randomly generated.  "So you have no idea who you are calling then, ok bye!"

Got another call from them today, no answer, tried to call them back, on withheld of course, they dont accept incoming calls it seems.

Wanted to demand that they remove my number from thier spamming list under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 or be sued for Harassment and a criminal complaint filed with the police.  I might do that now actually...
