Started receiving calls from this number over the last couple of days.....   i've no idea who it is as when i answered it there was no-one on the other end.

Just had a call from this number too - no idea who it is, and I didn't answer to find out!

Area Code is Hartlepool, it would appear.

I rang it back and got a automated voice saying that i had been called on behalf of respondex??? and given the option to remove my number which i did and then they repeated it back and gave me the further option to confirm it then gave me some holding music (as if they were going to put me through to someone) so i hang up.

I think its a reserach type organisation

Again this number has tried to get through to me,this is the 3rd string of calls from them,first my home phone,then my mobile when I did'nt answer the land line.I never answer if I don't recognise who is calling,they are a nuisance and need to be stopped.

I got a call from this number as well , this time a woman, claimed to be from Marbles credit card company.

I called Marbles, they said they had no record of calling me.

Same call, and I have Marbles - prob just a company speculatively contacting people to sell card insurance. I punched in my number (which they obviously had anyway) to remove it from their list. A bit of elevator music and then it hung up. Fairly innocent stuff. It's when they ask for credit card number and security codes you need to worry.

Saves me getting another call... well from them anyways!

just had a call from this number,the second this week. Said they were Vanquis Bank and needed to verify some details. Said i would ring later as busy (and I dont give my details to people calling me). Rang Vanquis, who said it was not them.

any 1 no who this is they call 3/4 times a day

i,ve got a call from this number, as i was in job so could,nt take it so could you please find from where i got this call

I have had a couple of calls from this number claiming to be vanquis and wanting to talk to me about identity fraud.  Very suspicious indeed!  I certainly wouldnt discuss any of my personal data over the phone.

I have had these people call me numerous times now. I've called them back and been put straight through to a recorded message telling me that I've "been called by Respondex on behalf of one of their clients". If I wish to have my number removed from their list, type it in. I have done this. FOUR TIMES. They still keep calling. When I answer, there's no-one there.

I haver recieved a phone call from them every day this week but I don't answer unknown numbers on my mobile as a principle. They have phoned a friend of mine also and she says that they are leaching her credit everytime she answers. Why they are phoning me in Scotland when they are located in Durham is beyond me. Word of advice, don't answer.

Ive jsut trceived a call today from this company calling themselves Vanquis and they asked for my details which i refused..when i rang back it was a recorded message called respondex and asks you to enter your mobile number to erase it which i didn't..beware..

Got a phone call from this number on my landline and my mobile pick both up but nobody on the other side and l pyu my phone down, call the number back two times but the automatic message said you were called by respondex on behalf of one of their clients, l dont understand what it means, pls, can someone tell me if you have any idea what company is this and what they are selling.

This a outsourced customer management company, they are contracted by Vanquis to try and sell additional products and insurances to their customers.

this number phones my house phone atleast 4 times a day and ask to speak to my dad. they say it is vanquis bank and i always say i will get my dad to phone them later as he is at work. there is also another company that phones (i cant remember the name) and asks to speak to a family member of my dad but must be over 18 (i am only 17 so i always hang up) after reading worying comments about the alegged vanqis number (the vanqis tht phones my house) i started taking the number of the other company, and surprise surprise its the same number. they are asking for personal details and bank details and are believed to be hackers phoning saying they are from different companies to get more details. whatever you do just hang up the phone and DO NOT give them any details, if anything say the person they are looking for doesnt live at the address. hope this helps people x
