Hi if you receive a text message from any number you feel is scam or spam just forward the message to 7726 and your network provider will either stop them sendng you any further messages and also if enough people do this for the same number they will investigate the company and hopefully put a stop to them.

had a missed call from this number, googled it as I always do with strange numbers and found this site.

if it is on behalf of Vanquis its very strange that they are ringing my OLD mobile number days after I have changed my details with Vanquis.

I always save the numbers to my mobile and then enable the 'divert to voicemail' option on it. I get a notification of a missed call, but after a few failed attempts they stop ringing.

This company has called me twice today, second time i answered and told the person on otherside where to go, phoned Vanquis and complained.  Vanquis are removing me from their marketing list which will take 48 hours after that i shouldnt receive any more called from Respondez.   Vanquis very apologetic and adviser said that they were getting alot of complaints about Respondez constantly ringing people.  Will see in 48 hours if the calls stop.

These people !!!!  had a call from a Geordie woman  who could talk the hind legs off a donkey , not only that she talked so fast it was difficult to understand. It was about a free 30 day trial brochure full of money off vouchers. After 30 days you could cancel or pay £6.99 to continue recieving. I said i was not interested but would she take NO for an answer , did she heck,  not the most pleasant of people . had to get rather assertive which she did not like. If Vanquis are aware of these goings on then its about time they took action on them . Why should people be badgered by these phone calls . I am putting a complaint into Vanquis  , so it remains to be seen what will be done !!!!!!!!!!

This comapny is a pain in the backside. I rang on thier freephone number (0800 4083986) so it cost me nothing. They work for many companies and won't give out who those companies are. I got the name of the Group Operations Manager - Les Watts who is off for Christmas. I think everyone should phone him and pester him like his staff do us.......Let's all give Les a call!!!!!

Number is unknown to me

This number - 01429 868060 - is Respondex. They are a marketing arm of Vanquis Bank and are employed to "advise customers of goods or services which they may find useful".
Yeah, right. Can't blame them for trying, though.
The way to stop them is NOT to ring them back, and certainly not key in your number when they ask you.
Instead, phone Vanquis directly ( 0871 770 5555 ) and speak to one of their advisers; might take a while to get through, like all press this button, press that button numbers. Once you get through, just ask them to have your number removed, and (so they say) they will have your number taken off the database. All done very politely, no hassle.

Reciieved call on mobile yesterday.Didnt answer as it's not known to me.

I have had these twerps on three different numbers now all now blocked. They do a lot of work for Vanquis but also for other companies I had them trying to sell mobile phone insurance. They did not like it when I told them my phone was company phone and insured through my company, they just hung up twits.

Had a call from this number on 22nd April. If it is Vanquis they also called on 01613807107. Have had another call from 0161380 0252 so suspect this is them also. It's disgraceful.

I am getting call from this number regular and I ignore them as I don't answer calls which aren't in my phone I have blocked this number but it then comes up with a Manchester number which I have also blocked I have dialled it back and it states you will me removed from their system in 24hrs so this remains to be seen as I did it yesterday and still received calls today

I've just reported them to the ICO and Ofcom. The more of us that do this, the more likely they are to take action against these companies. They ignore TPS.

Market Research company working on behalf of one of their customers. reading the drivel on their website (and it is a load of flannel!) that seems to be who they are. They have tried to call me 6 times now over the past week, even though I've asked for my number to be removed. Now they're on my barred list.
