Contacted my partner on her mobile phone, caller said they were from CPP/Garlik and were selling fraud protection on behalf of her credit card company.

We contacted the credit card company and they confirmed that this was NOT a scam

Just to say ive had one of these and no logged it under 'do not answer' so when/if it calls again i dont forget and answer it.
Ive called O2 and they say my account is fine and not to give any details out to anyone calling me.  If in doubt call them back on a number you know not that they give you!

they called me today, I said "Hello!" no answer on the other end. very annoying, long silence then they disconnected. If anyone want to know Total call duration was 47 seconds.

i can confirm i work for the number concerned and it is not a scam nor will it take any money from your account as we do not ask for any account details what so ever

I had a call today from this number but fortunately had left my mobile phone at home :) there is a god and googled the number and found this thanks guys uv saved me frm a scam  xxxxxx

They called me today and identified themselves as 3 (telecoms)

this number rang me 2 tell me i was intitled 2 a tax rebate and would send me a cheque out

I received a call from 01429868835. The person said he is from Aqua Credit Card. I have a credit card from Aqua. But I didnt ask them to call me. He asked my personal details. but I didnt tell him my details.

I also received a call today from 01429 868835, saying they were from Aqua Credit Card, and asking for my details.  I wouldn't give my date of birth and address, and the bloke didn't like that.  He said he would call another time.  Beware !!

This number called asking for me at my parents house. When my dad asked what it was for an who was calling they disconnected. Glad I didnt answer myself. Find it funny how none of the people claiming this is a genuine number are giving any details of the company it belongs to!!

I have received calls from this number on my mobile but didnt answer them. I have also received a call on my work number. The guy asked me to confirm my address and postcode but wouldnt say where he was calling from, only that it was a private 'business' matter. When he asked me again I said if you tell me where you are calling from or what its concerning then i will confirm my details. His tone then turned hostile and he just said 'fine' and hung up!?!

Thank goodness I am at last learning how to use a computer.I had this number call my land-line then my mobile,as a rule I dial 1471 but thought,no I will check this out with google.Iknow now not to answer this number.Thank you google.

I received a call from this number claiming to be from my Aqua card. The person asked me for the usual security details, i wasnt too happy to give any over so i said that i would call back myself, was polite and didnt mind me doing that. Dialed the number straight back and got the answermachine message and Googled "Respondez" as it says on the message itself and found its website www.respondez.co.uk that put my mind at ease so i called Aqua and they confirmed for me that they do indeed use that call centre... Just goes to show, do a little bit of investigating and then you'll get the right answers, would suggest everyone having problems with this number should do the same.

I received a call on my mobile today from this number. I didn't answer because I didn't recognise the number - but thought it was strange that they didn't leave a message. Googled the number and found this site. Have now stored the number in my phone as 'DO NOT ANSWER'. Thanks for all the warnings everyone!
