Mo how do you know they are a scam? please enlighten us ,they can only scam you if they ask for your card details and you give them the details yes, so your proof that they are a scam is what exactly?

hi this number 01429868835 have rung me 5 times so far over the past week fortunately i don't pick up if its a number i don't recognise

they rung both our mobiles and telephone nos didnt answer them when rung it back it was out of order time wasters should have something done to them why not ban the no

Had a call from this no yesterday but ignored as was driving. Had a call last week trying to sell me vouchers re my 'credit card' but said no. Its very worrying :(  I also received a call from: 01429264313 yesterday just before this, which is another one of those no's. Will ignore ! Be careful.

If you don't recognise a caller, do NOT answer - this is what I always do, & did when I received calls from this number a short while ago on my landline & mobile.

Any legitimate person or company that needs to get in touch with you will leave a brief message at the very least (these callers do not, so just ignore).

To those who don't have it, get Caller ID -  it's definitely worth having. I think it's usually free with a BT landline & may be a small fee with other operators.

I got a call from this number and then rang it back, it said if I didnt want to receive any more calls from it then I should enter my number. Assuming it was another phone company trying to get me to switch I entered my phone number, and now ive read its a scam. Im kinda worried its gonna use all my credit, any info would be good. Thanks

I had several calls from both the numbers listed here, tried to call them back and they do not take incoming calls.  When I finally answered a call (after checking on here) I refused to give my details out after they claimed to be my credit card company. Directly after, I called my credit card company to confirm the authenticates of the claim and it turns out they are a "carefully selected third party" and that they will be stopping the calls. Both numbers were used and confirmed as coming from Respondez. My credit card company is Vanquis if this helps anyone, the numbers that have called me are (01429) 868835 and 264313.

My number appears to be in a power dialer, it will not stop untill it has called every number listed for you. I have asked them to remove my number but the calls are getting more persitant now. They will ask you about a credit card DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR DEATAILS!

I have just spoken to my credit card company and they say that this is one of their affinity partners and they are selling Credit Card related products. If you are still unsure who they are I would advice that you call your credit card company and ask them if this number is known to them or if they recognise the product the company is selling. Quite often the call centre that is calling you will work for a number of Credit Card companies selling this type of service.
Because this type number can be easily traced it would be very unlikley that a company would ask you for your credit card details with the intention of robbing you but it still pays to find out more.

i got a call from this no i refused to answer it

hey i would like to know from u if i should answer this call or not because u are on o2 and so am i my mum just got the call but she was not here so i said can i take a message and they saind no i will contact you soon so i said ok so when i got home i googled it and it sayid it was a scam so when they contact me again i dont know weather to answer it or not pls let me no asap thanks

called me several times but i only ever pick up numbers i know, thanks for the info. Stop the scamming SCUM !!!

This number has been ringing me at least 4 times a day everyday for the past week. It's getting annoying how can I stop them ringing me, they never leave a message.

Every single one of you who have posted negatives about these calls have no clue what you are talking about!

If you take the time to read through the posts you will find that in no post did this company ask for your personal CC details or any financial information what so ever, This would tell anyone of you who has a brain and common sense that this company is working on behalf of the company you already have relationships with for you thickos who dont understand relationships that would be your credit card company.

Give you a milimeter and you take a mile complete and utter donuts all of you! if you dont want the number to call you simply answer the phone and tell them your not interested or even better listen to what they have to say as they may be of benefit as a few of the previous posts have also said!

At the end of the day under what evidence can any of you say that this is a scam??????

Got problem with this number, too. I never called as it is unknown to me. I was billed by Virgin Mobile for almost 4 hours call, which I did not do. Virting Mobile is aware that this number ia a SCAM number and  I asked them what can Virgin Mobile do for this SCAM, they have nothing to do with it, so, unfortunately, I have to pay.
