Who owns ISTL?  The pods should be in the name of the pension scheme.  Sorry,  but this is not something at all. It is a major [***] up.

I agree yes it is one hell  of a.....though the pods cannot be in the name of the pension scheme..they need to be held by a commercial entity..for example you invest in a Legal and General fund,which owns property within it,say a commercial shopping centre,it will say on the land registry that L&G own the building not an individual who has his pension or investment  with them....hence why they show as ITSL..as i see it anyway  (if we could see the documentation on the scheme then it would hopefully say as much)...we will see

I was told by someone in authority that we have not had a loan from Capita Oak therefore we are not going to feel the repercussions from HMRC. We have just transferred our pension

Personally I dont think its the scammers of this crime that have been posting on here, but more likley other schmucks posting in here just to wind you all up ! And also wouldnt these creatures who stole your money have had to pay income tax on the profits ? If thats the case a high percentage of the money is going to be irretrievable,  isn't it ? Not from me.  I am registered with the forum and use my avatar.  If I have anything negative to say I come right out and say it - everyone knows that.  I stand by my statements and only say things if I have hard evidence.  Paul has done an amazing job and his heart is in the right place.  We have a difference of opinion, and he is entitled to his and I to mine.

My reading of it is that Highgate, Thames and Imperial plus their associated pension schemes were set up by Hadley. He then contracted Payne and Perkins to run the admin side. Hadley appointed Orolfo and the other directors to the admin companies. These are verifiable facts.

Also, if you read through the early parts of this forum some of the stories victims tell back this up. For example, Tom Johnson, who acted as a sales agent for Capita Oak (presumably out of Goodlass Road as he had a Liverpool number), claimed he was working for a company called Nationwide Trustee Services. The sole director of this company was... James Hadley.

In the UK you can't really have nominee directors. Anyone appointed as a director has full personal legal responsibilities. This could explain why some of the appointees have suddenly quit at various times. They may have realised that all was not well.

My advice is to follow the money and there you will find the culprit. And I am not talking about the 2% or 4% here and there paid out in service charges, I mean the big commissions paid by Storefirst. Who decided to invest all of the money in Storefirst? Well I can't imagine it was Karl Dunlop. He had already quit or was on the point of quitting at that point. Logic suggests it was someone further up the tree and that could only have been Hadley.

It surprises me that we don't hear much about Hadley, or indeed Mike Talbot, in these discussions, but we do hear a lot about Stephen Ward. Talbot is at the heart of the sales operation and had previously worked for one of Whittaker's companies (as had Stuart Chapman-Clark). Its not a daft suggestion that they thought up the idea of putting the money into Storefirst and that they were motivated to do that by the possibility of commission. At that point they would have needed to persuade Hadley.

Maybe that is what happened. It is certainly a possible scenario if you look at these people's relationships and business history.

On the Perkins issue - a lot has been said about him - but I believe he has lost his own pension through Ark. If nothing else, this shows that he was not anywhere near the top of the tree in this operation and that pursuing him would be a red herring.
Downs - came into this quite late so can't be controlling anything, unless anyone knows otherwise.

I have mentioned in a previous post that Mike Talbot has in the past been a director for one of TWs companies and SCC used to work very closely with him...the link was not picked up by anyone else.

i agree with waht you have written but I get the feeling TW has a bigger part to play in all this.

there are people here to help others and there are others that want to throw everyone off the right track.  I htink its got to the point where as soon as someone gets an ombudsmans ruling, they file a civil suit to try reclaim whats left of their money.
