Don't point out Angie Brooks mistakes... she will bite your head off and unleash a dozen fake name personas on here to degrade you and win the hearts and minds of others that she so desperately wants to cash in on.

I think the problem is that irrespective of whether they are bent or not, they have created the clear impression that they are bent.  What I mean is that they are behaving in a furtive manner.  If it is true that Downs asked them for information back in October and failed to provide it, then that doesn't look good and creates the clear impression that they have something to hide.  But this applies to all parties involved: Downs failing to produce proper accounts and the results of his "investigations" after months of promising to do so is damning; Store First refusing to communicate with anybody is not good - especially after the revelations broadcast by the BBC that TW paid 30% commission plus the 1.6m rent to Transeuro.  Both Metis Law and Downs refusing to explain the 100k payment to Thurlstone creates the impression they are both as bad as each other.  What we really need is to put Downs, Metis Law and Toby Whittaker (together with ALL the connected fraudsters) in one room and bang their heads together until they tell us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.  With some Capita Oak victims there to ask the questions and record it all.  Any volunteers?

The easy way to win hearts and minds is for full disclosure of what went on, who did what and who is repsonsible for what. A real pension scheme would provide all the information to the members. I find it amazing that after all these months of investigating that no one is answering the question about the rent. Pathetic.

I think Angie is losing the plot now and needs help. Totally going over the top and is obsessed with Downs. What was all that crap about his companies.

She got that TOTALLY WRONG and has been made to look really stupid. Time i think she got back to living her sad lonely life, as someone said the other day, as she has become an obsessed loonie bin.

Don't forget, it is not just about the investment and lost rent, but about the loans to the under 55s. That is what got this scheme its scam status primarily and was the hook to ensnare the victims into that pile of metal boxes.

Letter gone to Storefirst from Imperial last night.

It is clear that Capita Oak was a typical pension liberation scam, with all the classic features and methods: huge fees, unrealistic promises of asset performance, "loans", cold calling etc.  And, of course, when it all went pear-shaped, the perpetrators just stopped answering the phone and emails.  The Pensions Ombudsman described Capita Oak as being typical of the organised crime behind pension liberation, and he was right.  Perhaps the most despicable aspect of this whole scam is the so-called "professionals" trying to defend the fraudsters and hiding behind their "obligations to their client(s).  The people who dreamed up, promoted, organised and administered Capita Oak pocketed huge fees and commissions at the expense of innocent victims who trusted them and believed their lies.  Downs and Metis Law are defending the indefensible and protecting those organised criminals guilty of ruining more than 300 people's lives.  Shame on both these "professional" firms.

I'd like to think that TW would go out of his way to help duped people find out which pods they invested in, how much the actual cost was and what happen to the 2 year rent.
I understand as a pension scheme the pods would not be in individual names. What I don't understand is why TW is shirking his responsibility, why did he pay such a large amount to Transeuro?
Getting a straight answer from TW will be very hard and returning funds is not his style.  He will suggest people invest in another one of his schemes..car parks or cheap apartments ( that won't just be developed in burnley but Liverpool and London too)

Ank i think it's fair to say in my opinion  anyway..that we're working up the line to get the facts correct to approach TW...ask the right questions...Some of which are being asked directly in the SF letter...I'm not so sure about the "go out of his way" bit though !!

I know you are working hard Paul :) we have had more movement in the last week or so.  Let's hope it goes in the right direction for everyone

Quick question - why doesn't a "team" just turn up at SF?  You, a couple of members, Downs, just turn up at TW's office?  Hand him the letter and ask for some answers?  I think he will just either ignore the letter or send a "holding" response, as advised by his solicitor.  Craig Hollingdrake of JWK originally told me that TW was so passionate about sorting this mess out (to protect his business) that he was prepared to jump on a plane and come out to Spain to talk to me...but when ML started sending letters before action they pulled up the drawbridge.  Sometimes the "face to face" approach can work wonders.  Just a suggestion.  Nothing to lose.

And which Downs would you send Brian or Bryan, of course Toby would only talk to ME ME ME.

In time,I think you have a point..though I'm not sure about the passion of TW. ..and it being to do with ML but with a downward wind, why not !
