- Den replies to Andy 8aI've just read that as well Andy..what would happen to the remainder if that is the case? Would it be handed to the people who were in the scheme?

- Outsider replies to DenAnd this man is endorsing it!!!!!!!!!
You just need the Mail or others to publish all info and hope for an insider with Morals.
Or Ben's parents Ray & Michelle to talk some Morals to their son. - Nan replies to Den| 18 repliesPlease excuse me for butting in on this thread, but I have been following it with anger and sadness for the past few days. Anger that these conmen can act in this way and sadness that people who thought they were doing their best for their future were conned in this way. The one thing that these bogus "Pension Release" companies deliberately didn't mention was that, whenever you took your money, HMRC would want their cut and, even worse, if your money had disappeared, HMRC would still want what was due to them. With the changes to Pension pots brought in at the last Budget, this type of fraud is only going to get worse, with scum like this waiting to fleece people who have worked hard all their lives. I really do hope that you have success in getting some of your money back but, once again, the so called "Watchdogs" set up by the Government are as useless as usual.
- Den replies to NanThanks..just feel sick..20 years of my life and hard work taken without a second thought..and now I don't know if the HMRC are any better
- Outsider replies to NanAs I mentioned only came about this thread when looking for key words, I fully agree with your comments on the recent gov changes and these scammers seem to run rings around the authorities.
It's thro these blogs that they are exposed, just get old mother to look deeper before posting.
I agree I'm a cynic and what's the vat on that 120k Bentley - paul t replies to Andy 8a| 17 repliesYes..in theory its correct but the tax charge should fall on Capita Oak (!) If they are the administrators rather then the individual...
I would find it hard to believe that it would come back on the member as the tax is in respect of any tax relief you may got from the scheme in the first place..if it is in respect of tax relief you got on the previous scheme then I would still find it hard to belive that it will come back at you..especially in these circumstances - paul t replies to Nan| 15 repliesEcho the thoughts...changes "potentially" coming in 2015 mean that you can access the whole pot at age 55...but if someone is working earning 25k...has a pot of 50k, wants to access it immediately is going to get stung with a tax bill (its added into your income after the 25% lump sum)probably of 40% on the bit that is above the higher rate tax threshold ..they didnt mention that bit ...
Some cynics have said its to get money in the
HMRC coffers immediately... - Outsider replies to paul t| 5 repliesHi Paul just been watching some of Quentins videos and talks of '68Million Quids' investments.
This Guy should be exposed in the press, I will be writing to the Mail... - paul t replies to Outsider| 4 repliesPlease do..
- Outsider replies to paul t| 3 repliesJust sent Paul.
And I would suggest all people involved email tony.hetherington@mailonsunday.co.uk - den replies to Outsider| 2 repliesJust emailed Tony Hetherington at the Mail..all helps I spose :)
- Outsider replies to den| 1 replyYes it will because Quentin is telling fibs to get you to invest.
- Karen replies to OutsiderQuentins agents forwarded on my email to him re this and he didn't even reply. Over a month ago
- Kate replies to paul t| 14 repliesI was told the 5 per cent they charge for commission would be waived as an incentive to join the scheme. I did not want pension release as aware of the implications of that and discussed as such with JP Sterling
- Karen replies to DenDefinitely not
- Nan replies to paul t| 10 repliesI am no financial expert, but years of dealing with the fall out from scams and cons has meant that I try to keep up to date with the goings on in that murky world. The "Pension Release" scam seems to make its appearancee a few months ago as the "next big thing" in boiler rooms following the exposure of Land Banking, Carbon Credits, Coloured Diamonds, Fine Wines et al. As well as Press items several different threads began to appear on this website. The main thing which came out of these reports was the fact that HMRC would want its cut even if the money had been stolen. The seemed to be agreeable to coming to an "arrangement" with the person concerned to get this payment. If you can investigate and find out that this has changed I, for one, would be delighted, but not as much as those people who have lost money.
