What is the remit of the Insolvency Service in this case?

I would imagine that no private sector trustee would want to get involved as the money has gone, so IS may choose to act as trustee and/or official receiver.  Then they will try and recover as much as possible, though I guess the pods are going to be difficult to sell to anyone, even a competitor looking at the state of their accounts.

If the pods don't sell TW@  has many other assets that could raise the funds

IMHO all those who played their part in ITSL/Capita Oak will now be exposed and face justice - must be inevitable. The IS take these scams seriously and will make sure they all get their just deserts. Problem is these scammers just keep setting up new schemes with revised methods/approaches and you can bet your bottom dollar they are working on their next one right now. TW is now flogging Store First in Canada, and the usual suspects are flogging Park First and Dubai Car Parks. They all need locking up.

They'll also be flogging his new venture in the cobbled streets of Burnley soon ascwell

All should be disqualified from ever being directors or having anything to do with the running of a business.  If the funds have been transferred abroad then assets in this country should be sold.  An example should be made of these crooks so others think twice in the future.

The personal tax affairs of all of them ( u included Chris, can't leave you out) should be investigate by hmrc. I've been privy to TW@s return in the past and can guarantee he doesn't declare all his income.

I reckon it is now inevitable that all those behind CO/ITSL will face justice and be exposed for what they did and how they did it. Store First's days are numbered, it is only a matter of time now.
