this lot http://www.pugh-auctions.com/Lot/Manchester/20151022/065a was in the October auction and is still available at £16000 ( 9 storage units)  one of the lots above is 5 storage units ith a guide price of £10000 ..thats £2000 per unit?  or in the case of the prior lot £1,777. the storefirst brochure lists a 20 sq ft pod at £3750 and 50 sq ft at £7500. Investors are very desperate to get rid of this high yielding investment with guaranteed projected income.

at price per foot. Investors buy for £150/ft one of the lots is on for a min guide of £25/ft. There not selling in previous auctions at £40/ft . 10-12p in the pound wasn't a bad guess...Seen on another forum where someone was offered 1/8th of investment back £18.75/ft direct from storefirst.

What ever the price per foot; the pods are not selling, as individual pods or as job lots.  There are at least 5 listings through the aution company.  No one is ever going to make any money when and if they ever sell their investments.
The man that is discussed in the other forum trying to sell 9 pods with a guide price of 10000 was sold his investment through an outfit called Guardian Pension Trustee state; Guardian Pension Consultants Ltd does not provide investment advice and we only accept clients through a professional Financial Adviser who can help them decide whether our products are right for them.
This firm is also FCA regulated, why did they sell on an unregulated investment?

Unregulated investments give big fees to the advisers as professional footballers on another tax scam are finding out. Auctions are usually attended by serious buyers that know what they want to buy. "Pods sold to the gentleman over there" is just going to cause laughter from the other attendees.

The pods wont sell at auction people want an investment with a return.  I know people keep stating a fool and his money but in this case its been bad advice from other people and in some cases regulated adviser; one thing that did make me laugh was the storefirst brocure claiming you could try sell your pods to one of their rival storage companies!?

I think the "fool and his money" is a good point. I am sure lots of people asked the right questions and to excuse this fraudulent behaviour as somehow being the fault of the investor is appalling. Surely a rival would only be interested in buying the whole building at the real market price not the pods from individuals. You are right, it is laughable but not very funny.

the thought of Toby et all with his newly formed ground rent collection company greasing that shaft for unknown future costs will have them smiling more..
