Hiya Paul T,CL&P were a pension broker that i used to arrange my pension to be invested ,they arranged that carey's would be the administrators of any dealings with my investment with the company(Sorefirst) that they suggested i should put my pension into. Ben Newman is the toerag that duped me into these investments,I hope that explains things.

As i said earlier,Ben Newman was working for CL&P brokers,not carey's,he was the one who brokered the contract that involved me ,carey's and Storefirst,and as it turns out now,they were not registered !So who are you,and excuse my ignorance what is the FCA,and i really would appreciate you having the guts to give out your name and position in this ongoing disgrace.

A past example of the FCA's actions include a warning of Toby Whittakers first attempt at pension grabbing 'wefindanypension.com' . A more recent action is the removal of Warranty Wise ( Toby's Father & Brothers company ) from the authorised companies list. I know hindsight is easily quoted but some sort of 'Kite Mark' needs applying to all these 'schemes'

Like a lot of qualified advisers, I am watching this thread. I noticed something that required comment.  The relevance is that if any FCA registered advisers are involved, they need shopping and the clients "may" have some recourse to the FSCS. If not regulated like the scum that drew up the documentation and set up this scam... no comment.

There may have been though if so, the chances of the FSCS kicking in here is remote to say the least. POCA potentially though.

I was referring to the regulated firm mentioned on her. This is crime, different issue.

also found it interesting that one of the posters had put up a warning on the storefirst investment but it was removed.

Warning people could land someone in big trouble with lawyers.
