lots 110, 114 and 121
good luck with your evaluation, these lots give a little idea of where the price maybe. I found the legal packs very interesting - Prices replies to //| 4 repliesDo you think anyone would actually buy these at auction at those prices? I would be surprised. Surely people at auctions do their research.
- Wow replies to Prices| 2 replies35 million paid out in returns to investors already ??, What has Talbot changed his surname to 'investors' ??

- // replies to WowWhat is the capital cost?
Storepods range in price from £3,750 for a 25 Sq/Ft Pod, up to to £22,500 for 150 Sq/ Ft. The most common sizes are 75 Sq/Ft which cost £11,250 and 100 Sq/Ft which cost £15,000. We believe Storepods are the most cost effective property investment with the highest yields on the market today. Multiple Storepods can be purchased using one Land Registry title deed, this saves on completion costs on larger property investment portfolios.
Is there VAT to pay on completion?
Storepods are VAT exempt, therefore there is no VAT to pay on completion.
Do I need to use a solicitor to prepare the leases?
Our in-house commercial agent Store First Management Ltd will prepare a licence agreement for tenants to sign and therefore no solicitors are (legally) required; this makes the process simple, fast & straightforward, although you are welcome to use your own legal advisors if you should choose to do so.
I had thought the pods were vatable? and a lease without involving a solicitor? - // replies to Pricesits the second time one of those lots is being put to auction, guessing it wont be the last
- ThunderBird 4| 24 repliesWhy would the pods be sold at auction ? Surely not for any future income investement ? Is it just SF selling the pods, or persons who have them anyway for this so called investment or is it individuals
who can't get them disposed of any other way?
Anyone know how the last auction on the pods went. Has anyone heard from Angie Brooks who paid her money, or is she now ignoring peaple? - Prices replies to ThunderBird 4| 20 repliesWon't be SF selling them, it will be desperate investors trying to salvage something.
- ThunderBird 4 replies to Prices| 19 repliesStrange....i was under the impression that no invester knew or had title to there pods?
- Paul T replies to ThunderBird 4| 18 repliesFor Sipps rather than C O, they do
- Prices replies to Paul T| 17 repliesWhich is why the sipps probably have put them at a quid in value. No one is going to get any pension money from this, not Capita or the sipp pensioners.
- Hi replies to ThunderBird 4| 2 repliesThunderbird, one of the lots in questioned was put into auction Oct with a guide price of 20k, original purchase price 33k. Total sq ft of pods offered were 225. They did not sell.
He has now entered them again into this Thursdays auction with a guide price of 10k. That person was an individual investor, his details are on the Motley Fool blog.
In the same auction another block of pods are offered total 200 sq ft min price guide 5k, the original price would have been 30k. - A replies to Prices| 4 repliesquid is a bit mean, these tin boxes can be purchased off shelf, typ 46 sq ft less than £1000 app weight 0.75t. Price of scrap now £50-60 tonne.. about £1 a sq ft. Yes your name is on land registry, but who ultimately controls how you access these things. The pension admin people couldn't even get a valuer in there...
- ? replies to Hi| 1 replyLink to blog?
- Prices replies to A| 2 repliesA quid is what seems to happen with sipp firms that cannot get a realisable value. Pension admin people? What admin? Good point about the access, and what happens if someone did buy them at auction and sf went bust. How could you heat and run the units and provide security?
- Thats replies to PricesWhy no one will buy, it will all end in a fire sale. Wonder what an insurance company would pay out ??? If SF went bust ? don't worry storefirst management would be there to collect the management charge people have signed up for. And the recently formed ground rent company would still collect the rent people have signed up for.. I'm sure you get the jist
- Hi replies to ?It was posted on here about 3 weeks ago, but good links do get lost with all the postings.
http://boards.fool.co.uk/regular-readers-will ... x?sort=postdate - The first replies to Pricespost on the Motley Fool blog posted 2.5 years ago sums it up. Extract below, and it is a liability... Especially with you know who running the management company.
'I am sketching out a business plan whereby storage pod owners pay me to take on their liabilities and I convert vacant storage sites into factory units....'
