Radio 4 listeners may be able to pay for that advice, but can most people? As for risk, the disclaimer that the people that set up the scheme designed meant they knew the risk of store pods.People thought the rent was guaranteed and Tw@t knew full well that the investors would never see any of it.

Initial fee of 5% that these people signed up for is a bit rich for your average R4 listener, hopefully they are more financially aware now. As for the guaranteed returns your right and someone needs to be brought to account.

Yes they can afford it. Proper risk profile (as R4 said) then it puts things into perspective and everyone's happy...even though the FTSE is as it is

Have you seen the disclaimer that people signed? You seem to understand the issues about pensions, do properly run pension schemes normally allow the people that run them total power to do what they like with an attached disclaimer? It is like they knew what would happen next.

Are talking specifically about Capita Oak...an occupational scheme?

Do you not think it strange that these sort of questions are being asked when this site has been in existence  now for over 18 months. It does seem strange to me. I am never confident that it is a member  who is asking the questions

agree with you. It always raises suspicions when random questions are asked, or when some one moans that no enough is being done on here or information being shared. Trust no one Paul T, unless you are in touch outside this forum

The issue with that disclaimer, loads of pages back somewhere. No one admitted who wrote it and someone made fun of anyone that signed it. Par for the course with this lot.

shame that he is going to make such a loss. There should be a drive to get rid of unregulated investments. And responsibility should to thrown on to the people who pushed store first and led investors to believe the returns would be high
