- den replies to JonI totally echo Jon...They say You shouldn't have any regrets..but I have, a £108k sized one..I've been a fool and been manipulated and lied to possibly losing my financial future in the process...you're talking the talk Brian, time will tell if you walk the walk..I swear though if it turns out you're a liar and manipulator I will do everything possible along I'm sure with my fellow victims of this nightmare situation to see justice is done. At the moment what trust and faith I have is in Angie..you can say what you like about her but she has brought people out of the woodwork who wouldn't have given us a second thought in this debacle and without doubt would have left us out to dry.
- Joe| 17 repliesI don't believe another few weeks will matter Brian seems to be doing good work no matter who if anyone he is working for Metis are still working on this so if we give these people a chance thing arnt just going to stand still I know a meeting is being set up for the near future at least give the above mentioned people till then after all things are going to stop soon as all agencies will be shut over the holidays I don't believe a few more weeks will do any harm this is including Angie let's see if métis and Brian are good to there word all this bickering may be making people feel better but it certainly isn't helping us get to the bottom if this
I for one hope my judgment and trust in Metis and Brian isn't mis- guided and they don't prove me wrong it's a chance I'm prepared to take and I transferred TWO pensions to capita
Let's be civil and give what hope we have left to see if they can help Angie as done and uncovered lots yes I agree but it seems to be stalling now no one wants to work with her
I say give them till new year at least - den replies to JoeI'll go with that Joe and willing to see what the next few weeks/new year bring..but I know they don't wanna work with Angie but she doesn't [***] foot around and I am positive ..not taking anything away from Paul T ...We wouldn't be where we are now if their cages were not rattled..but I'm willing to chance my arm..anything for a positive result

Bromley !! - Joe replies to Bitting my tounge| 3 repliesDon't forget action fraud tPR ect are still investigating reading between the lines maybe are money might be coming back let's just hang slack till the métis meet
- Angie replies to Bitting my tounge| 10 repliesWhom to trust? that is the question. People stand by what they do, what they achieve, with whom they associate. The bottom line is getting this mess sorted out - and believe me it is a horrendous mess. Lots of parties have had a hand in it - some more guilty than others. The thing is that it will all come out in the end and all supposition, guessing and assuming will be clarified. But the facts are indisputable - a cocktail of opportunists and fraudsters put 10.8 million of pension funds at risk and stopped 300 people from accessing their pension benefits. And if HMRC decide that Capita Oak was never a genuine pension scheme set up to provide income in retirement, there will be a 55% tax charge on the whole lot. I don't blame anyone for not knowing what to believe or which party to put their faith in. But there are a lot of indisputable facts on here and it is for everyone to make up their own mind. For now.
- Joe replies to Angie| 9 repliesAnd if your right Angie I for one will publicly apologise I just feel it's time to give metis and Brian a chance see what they come up with
- Joe replies to Joe| 8 repliesAfter all no one really knows who is genuine or not
- Karen replies to Joe| 6 repliesGenuine ? Would the majority of us be on here if we had not been robbed ? Better things to do ? The remainder on here are the perpetrators and saddos with nothing better to do. I'f you want to see evidence of our loss then please ask but don't keep raising the trust issue. Make your own mind up
- Angie replies to JoeI agree that everyone should be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Trouble is, with HMRC it is the other way around.
- Joe replies to KarenKaren I have my own evidence my own thoughts and my own choice who to trust
I really don't want to put the scenario on here try reading between the lines - Joe replies to Karen| 4 repliesTo be perfectly blunt no one as any proof of anyone being robbed YET there is however a lot of evidence of ignorance bad management bad decisions ect
I think Angie will agree there is no question store first recieved the money there was a lot of fees charges ect which may be questionable but also may be legitimate the 1.6 million and thirlstone loans maybe an issue but let's just see what Brian comes up with we could trade insults quotes points of view till next year and still be in this same position let's just sit quiet try and enjoy Xmas refrain from anymore accusations and see what the metis meeting and Brian comes up with if we don't we will never know if this could be the solution neither me nor anyone else can say with 100% confidence it won't be and I certainly can't say it will be but it seems the sensible option
Let's all agree to give Brian and metis a chance please - Karen replies to Joe| 1 replyGranted , good shout.
- Joe replies to KarenThank you
Weekend in work this week so off to bed - I am a lawyer replies to Joe| 1 replyI have just been asked to look at this thread. I will not get involved other than to say that there appears to be just cause to question the roles of the professional firms associated with this arrangement. I really think that a public forum is not going to solve this. Please seek out proper representation, independent of those that you appear to be talking to. If there is reason to make a claim, it may well turn out to be a claim on the professional's indemnity insurance of the very firms that you are looking to help you. I wish you well, but you really need to get independent representation. (Apologies for the lawyer advert but we do sometimes serve a purpose).
- Answer the question replies to BRIAN DOWNS| 1 replyOne thing for sure Mr Downs you are taking direction from Perkins and it will be shown with hard evidence can you at least admit to that if you are being so upfront about everything
- Karen replies to I am a lawyerCan I ask your first name please? Just want to know if I have spoken to you before
- BRIAN DOWNS replies to Answer the questionWell the lawyer can butt out. I'm running this show now. I've got all the Imperial bank statements because I was the accountant for Imperial, of course (and I won't let Angie have them) and I am a very experienced accountant and can almost spell auditor (check out my website!). My clients include Michael Solle, a very successful wine scammer https://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/director/5996715/michael-solle
and Richard Burton
https://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/global-trustees-pension-services
and Paul Chant, heroin dealer and Roger Chant, butcher and present director of Imperial
Richard Burton's office used to be at the premises of Christopher Payne's company Phoenix Accounting and his wife Karen was director of Imperial. Bill Perkins asked me to be director of Imperial but I said no - wouldn't want to get my hands dirty. But I wrote the statement for the BBC for Bill Perkins and confirmed that the 1.7 million was properly sent to Metis Law - but Bill wasn't keen on that information being made public. He said best to keep people guessing for now. Bill Perkins and Alan Fowler think very highly of me and Christopher Payne has told them I am a very good accountant and auditro. I am very upfront and you can come to my office at any time to ask me anything and while you are here you can buy a bentley with a personalised number plate (client of mine who won't be needing it for a few years), sausages, heroin, wine - free test drive and samples LOL. Btw, Metis Law won't tell you where they sent the 1.7 million - Bill and Alan have told them to keep quiet about that one. But you never know, slip me a grand and I might give you a clue (actually, it is obvious, but never mind - don't want Metis Law to think I am indiscreet). - Karen replies to Joe| 2 repliesThere is so much happening that is not on here and I know that the end is nigh for this lot .....Happy Days
- frank| 1 replyIn Angie Brooks I trust
