Phoned on Sunday pm (15:15)  - I am on TPS and have sent in a complaint

Avoid this company at all costs! Its a Kitchen sales company based in Scotland.

My elderly neghbour was pressurised into signing up to a contract after the sales person had been at her house for nearly 6 hours! He assured her that there is a 7 day cooling off period where she can cancel the order, it took me 3 weeks and countless calls to get the cheque back.

They offer a 'today only' offer that she reluctantly signed just to get rid of him. I saw the contract the next day, it was for a £12,000 kitchen that by the end of the 10 year sales agreement she would have paid £23,500! Totallly crazy and misold her everything. Their product looking by the reviews on-line is as shoddy as their cold calling.

Anyways after doing some research I found the millionare owner is Donald MacLeod, who has set up and liquidated many similar companies in the past. And...who also has a history of harressing women at work and was found guilty for.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, REPORT THE NUMBER AS SOON AS THEY CALL

Had one of thier "designers" visit our home, measured up and gave me a quote of £18900, then discounted by 30% if i bought today. Product is rubbish, told him where the door is and he still kept trying to sell me their rubbish and offering a finance package that would see me paying nearly £32000 for a crappy kitchen over a 10 Years plan!

He had the nerve to say my kitchen is going to "fall apart" in the next few weeks and this 'once in a life offer' is never going to be available again. complete idiot!

I can see how some elderly folk can be tricked into buying this rubbish. This company should NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE

got a call from a lady with foreign accent from D & M Design - but number was withheld.
After confirming my name and post code she asked how old was our kitchen or Bathrom?

When I objected to her questions, I eventually hung up on her, but...

The next day got a call (number withheld again) from a Gentleman with Glaswegian accent offering a voucher for £1000 money of whatever I was wishing to buy from them.

We have been registered with TPS for several years. Still get many, many such calls.

As you are TPS registered, please report this lot.  They have been ignoring TPS rules for years and unless everyone who is TPS registered reports them, they will continue to do so.  TPS only works for reputable UK sales companies,  Rogue and overseas companies ignore them

I received a call from this phone number and after I'd asked a few questions from 'Tina' who said she was calling on behalf of Mitchel and Thompson (which was in fact the DM Design's call centre in Kirkcaldy) I informed her I was making a complaint as this phone number was on TPS she laughed and said that "it didn't work for promotional calls" to which I responded "no, this is unwanted, goodbye" and hung up.After researching this on the net and complaining to TPS I have found this number for the call centre: 01592 261500 with a contact name of Nancy Lorimer. I rang this and directly spoke to a man who said he would manually remove the number.

For good 2 years now I have had my answerphone on 24/7. If people want me they'll leave a message or shout for me , so I can cut in. Once a week I erase all the sales calls.
On my mobile I don't answer calls that don't show a name, i.e. are not in my contact list!

I recieved a call from this number on 29th September when I  picked up the phone there was no one on hte line.

I have had 5 calls from companies, the most recent of which was this company today, all with my name and postcode claiming to have called me a year ago, when I am supposed to have told them I had a bathroom and kitchen over 8 years old, neither of which is true. I am also on TPS, which quietened things down for about a year, but doesnt seem to have stopped this lot.

This company are renowned for ignoring TPS.  They are, in fact, DM Designs of Kirkaldy in Fife.  They use a number of different names like, Greg & Goodwin, Bennett & Barnes and others.  It needs everyone called by them, under any name, to complain to TPS pointing out the connection to DM Designs.  TPS only works with reputable companies and when we get calls from rogue companies they need to be reported.  Unless we report them TPS doesn't know we are getting them.

Got a phone call from this guy asking for Miss A....., my daughter's name.  I replied that she wasn't in and he said he would call back later.  I told him she wouldn't be in later but could I take a message.  The phone went silent although I didn't hear him hang up.  
Was very suspicious so dialed 1471 to get his number, though didn't phone him back.  Don't know what his scam is but it seems to have been ongoing for a quite a while.  Possibly identity fraud.  What a creep!

Kate, you were called by DM Design Ltd, a company which appears to have a very bad reputation for breaking the law and disturbing you, amongst many others.

They lie about being Butler & Carr, Balmoral Designs etc, because they're too ashamed to admit the real name of their trashy company.

Phone the Managing Director of DM Design  Donald MacLeod on freephone 0800 185186 or 01236 739200.

Tell him exactly what you think of him breaking the law and calling you despite being TPS registered.

Or if you're near, why not call by in person to speak to him face to face?

A WEALTHY businessman has lost an employment tribunal after it was ruled that he had kissed and groped a teenage employee despite his wife being in the next office.

Donald MacLeod, 44, a director of the family firm DM Design Bedrooms Ltd, of Cumbernauld, was yesterday ordered to pay £1,070 in compensation to a telesales canvasser, Lindsay Wallace, 19, for unlawfully sexually discriminating against her.

The millionaire businessman had asked to see the girl’s tattoos before the tribunal heard how he tried to kiss her and put his hands on her bottom.

At an earlier hearing in May, MacLeod admitted asking her for a kiss in exchange for a piece of wood, but claimed Miss Wallace initiated the advance.

Miss Wallace, from Eastfield, Cumbernauld, had asked MacLeod for a piece of wood in July last year. As they went to collect it from the warehouse, he inquired about her tattoos.

Miss Wallace, who has a tattoo on each arm, three on her hip, and one on her thigh and ankle, added: “He asked to see any ones that weren’t on show. I declined.”

After finding a piece of wood, they returned to an office within the building.

Miss Wallace continued: “He then approached me, tried to place his hands on me, put them around me, then on my bottom. I backed off and asked ‘How do I get out of the office?’ I was confused and very upset.”

MacLeod denied Miss Wallace’s version of events. However, he conceded that he did ask the teenager for a kiss, before insisting that she then made an advance on him.

In a written judgment yesterday, the Glasgow tribunal ruled: “We had no hesitation in preferring the evidence of the applicant to the evidence of Mr MacLeod. We made a close examination of the demeanour of each when giving evidence. We considered Mr MacLeod’s demeanour to be somewhat evasive.”

Call all the time as soon as I ask them to repeat their name they hang up. I thought it was against the law to call people with nuisance calls. Why do they do it, who would ever want to deal with these morons.

I've just had a call from them too

I just had a call from a very rude scottish woman (4.45pm on a Sunday) from Maxwell and Miller.  She instantly got my back up with her terrible manner, when she said where she was calling from it was clear to me that it was a marketing call so I said in an angry voice 'what on earth are you doing calling me at this time on a Sunday'
She replied;  "you think the whole world stops on a Sunday just for you?" - I hung up.

These people are beyond the pale.

just had a phone call from a firm called HARVEY AND GRANT  said my name and address then asked me how old my kitchen was , i said 4 years old she then asked how old my bathroom was , i said a year old SHE THEN SAID I BET IT IS YOU [***] LIAR and hung up ! i am fuming ? just looked them up to see if i could find a number to ring and suprise there is not one and it also said this company was dissolved in 1996 !  7th nov 2012 .
