only half a message left on the answerphone - welsh accent - the only bit we got was "Thorpe House Swansea SA13LW"  Looked Thorpe house Swansea up and it it is offices to rent.

Just had the same Welsh accented recorded message about bank charges at 15.05. Probably same as the two previous calls I couldn't be bothered to answer. Falcon and Pointer, even give you their number, no doubt as other posters have suggested, to make them sound respectable. I can't believe any of these idiots make a living, since they get the same response as the god-botherers who buttonhole you in the street or bang on your door mid-meal!  Hey ho...

2 calls in one afternoon.  Since it's a robocaller, the machine only got half of a message about pressing 9 if you've already made a claim.

2 calls today from this number, both times half a recorded message left giving an address in Swansea and the postcode SA1 3L (or A)W - it would appear to be the same conmen as reported above.

Calls recently from 01600-469009.  With caller display, one tends to answer a landline.  Happens I reached the phone after the answer phone kicked in the first times so now know to ignore it.  Because it's improving impossible to cut such calls off, lifting the receiver and putting it down again makes no difference!!!!

Only the end of the caller's message gets recorded, proving it's an electronic version not a person.  Recorded bit is always asking to send whatever they just referred to, to 44 Princess House Swansea SA13LW.  Looking up the address, there are many companies there including a claims line and telemarketer.

So much for ex-directory, TPS and MPS.   With BT and Councils putting info openly online (including of people already ex-directory) and then we customers having to request it not be (and go ex-directory - which I did - but the only difference that makes is making it impossible for genuine people to look up my number).  Unless able to move house, the info remains forever.   Giving us a security risk, as it includes address and age and how many at that address etc.  Why would we want to be globally available?  Seems Yellow Pages info's been reversed:  the hoped-for-customer now being the one advertised.

It gets really distressing at times, the number of unsolicited calls to private residences.  These Swansea ones have so far been in "office hours" but some are late at night and on Sundays, times that used to be respected.   Who likes being woken up by scam calls or texts?   Turning the phone off results in others being unable to contact us in an emergency.

Harassment is too kind a word for some of them.  Phones only accept a set number of calls to bar, we'd need facility to bar thousands, which rules out finding the money for the one that takes 200 or thereabouts, even tho' it includes many regular numbers as well.  The numbers are increasing too exponentially.

Need some enterprising individual to find a simple no-cost solution please!  Payment by those responsible instead of we innocent individuals.  Whilst it'd be difficult to police, it should also be outlawed.   If it were, then all the telecoms providers might twig to the wisdom of providing - inclusive, not at extra cost - a barring service that works.  Again, costs should be covered by the perpetrators, more likely to be dealt with if telecoms firms will otherwise be out of pocket because of them, it being their systems that allow all this.

Pre-recorded message (from a noisy call centre - you think they'd at least have the courtesy to record it in a quiet office!) offering refunds on mis-sold packaged bank accounts (so a similar deal to PPI and bank account charges). These clowns are even more clueless than usual, as after giving the usual 5 to call back, 9 to remove from their list options, they then helpfully reveal their office address - how thoughtful of them :)

Received unsolicited call today, recorded message concerning PPI.  Welsh male voice,  sounded like the [***] Nev who ran the call centre featured in the BBC programme 'The Call Centre'.  They closed down after receiving fines of £225, 000 due to making unsolicited calls - yippee!!

Had a call from this number this morning. I didn't answer it, as it was an unknown number. Glad I didn't after reading the other replys

I was out this morning and this company called again.  They left a message on our answerphone about an enquiry we'd made!!  We will not be calling them back.

Another PPI caller that I have reported to the ICO, especially as they called on a TPS registered number

I'm so depressed with these calls I'm scared to answer the phone. I usually let it ring and do 1471 to find out if I want the call, then call back if appropriate. I have no business with this company Falcon and Pointer or whoever they are (or all the others that keep calling me). I only ever give my number to services that I use. I'm supposed to be ex-directory and a member of TPS. The calls have got worse since joining TPS.

Don't be scared Kat. Allow my supportive embrace to alleviate all of your fears. Join me. Let us join union and concentrate on more positive things.

get an ansaphone find a really BAD singer & srecord  a silly message, when it cuts in you can stand by the  phone & pick-up if you feel the urge. Eeeasy ennit

Regular calls from this number now stating that it is Falcon & Pointer - these are bad people and deserve to be heavily fined by the ICO.
