- I MorganI've been getting loads of calls from this number too, and its getting a tad annoying! i've given up answering as there is never anyone there, when I tried calling the number back it was always engaged until yesterday when i got "Number not recognised"
- Adam PjI received my first telephone call from them today. After a bit of research I found this site and proceeded to visit their website at http://www.amanico.uk.com/. The contact number on the website doesn't work, but you can get through on 01606 336400. I had a bit of a go at the lady on the phone, told her i was on the TPS, and told her to remove me. She proceeded to take my telephone number and postcode, and said my number would be added to the "block" list on Monday Morning - No more calls for me! I suggest you all do the same, she also tried taking my surname, but I told her it was none of her business!!!

- Sick Of All This RubbishLook we realise you have a job to do, but when we say we do not wanna be called back again we do expect you to delete us off your systems, speaking from personal experience I spoke to a supervisor Sue who ensured me that i would be blocked form the system and to this day I still am not. It gets extremely frustrating for all of us to continually have to say the same things to the call operators or to ignore the phone.
And as for the harrassment comment about the facebook person, I think what they are trying to get across is that they feel harrassed by the multiple calls they get from your company, and want you to know how it feels. I have a friend who used to work for said company and I know the ins and outs of it, I know all about the md, the data sytem and the amount of times you call a certain number, He only dealt with the auto system a few times but could see its flaws, it repeated the call circle and randomly selected the same name more than once.
I understand it gets frustrating for the telesales operators to get cursed at etc but you need to be the bigger people and if someone says I do not want to be called back or if the person tells u to blatantly f**k off, you need to take the hint. According to this site and another mobile number posted about this site there have been pages upon pages of complaints, I think that the company needs to address the issues that have been presented and try to correct them.
The company, callers and receivers need to all treat each other with a bit of respect.

xx - JockApparently these numbers originate from a call centre. In order to keep their staff fully occupied the computer dials excess numbers which it hangs up if there is no staff to deal with it.It has no idea whether the numbers are EX-D or not.

- LCRBeing a shift worker, late morning / early afternoon is effectively the middle of the night for me, trying to sleep after a night shift... I can't really help being a bit groggy on the phone having been woken by an unwanted call! Despite telling them numerous times "I'm not interested, please remove my number from your system" I still get missed calls every day from this number. Having read several posts from "employees" on here, I guess I'm just being put back through the system out of spite.
Yes, I complete online surveys for free gifts or prize draw entry. BUT, if there is a tick box saying I do NOT want my details given to third partys, I tick it - if there is no box, I do NOT enter my phone number.
Certain companys are getting crafty with this too... most people are so used to ticking the box because they don't want to have to deal with the endless calls / junk mail / spam for months after. BUT - some say to tick the box if you DO want months of hassle after clicking 'submit' SO BE CAREFUL!!
I am also ex directory, and have registered with TPS. This company must have some 'back door' methods of obtaining people's phone numbers.
My girlfriend also works in a call centre (thankfully, not in sales!) so I know from her the kind of people that work there... people who simply do their job to earn a few quid to pay their way through Uni, and there are a sad few who don't give a damn & like to abuse the system, they get enjoyment out of annoying the hell out of people. If they get sacked because of it, so what?! It's only a call centre job! I can see from previous "employee" posts, there are both types working for this company!
Unfortunately, although the piss takers are a small minority, they are the ones who are remembered by people. They are the ones who are talked about on forums like this. They are the ones who give companies bad names. They are the ones who give call centre workers as a whole, a bad name. Doesn't help having managers who can't manage either... - SandraI too have had as many as 5 calls per day. When I try and ring back the message just says that I have dialled incorrectly. They should not be allowed to get away with this harrassment and I am also exdirectory so where do they get our numbers from. Someone please help
- Andrew HintonI do 1471 and press 3 but the number is not recognised. I try to dial it and I get a similar automated message. I am ill. Dealing with this kind of caller is not helping my recovery.
