I applied to bour bon creations, taking over from primus and received a call from 01612001114. It was arranged that I would go for an interview today and all I needed was my cv. The person I spoke to specifically told me that i didn't need to prepare anything, ie do no research.

This instantly made me more curious as everyone knows when going to an interview you research the job so you can come over better on the interview. Obviously when I did some searching online I found this and have not gone to the interview.

Also on their website they claim to have worked for some huge companies such as BT, Carphone Warehouse, Scottish Power, EDF and more. I currently work for an outsource company and I know that 1 thing that large companies want you to do as an outsource company is work behind the scenes.

Gone for the 1st interveiw today I was not sure of the company especially because I can not find bour bon creations website and sounding like another recruitment job. Not much information about what the job was on the website. Did a bad interview and still get a call back. Reading all the review especial the long one in was as if ForYourOwnBenefit had my eyes. Everything was the same. The bad thing is you feel great because you have been selected to be 25 out of 100 people.

Found this website while hunting for more details and feel totally ripped off, can't believe they can be allowed to advertise on jobsite as thats where I found it.

Have just been called for a second interview and after reading the long rant have decided not to go and waste my money.

in the interview it was sales based but you were selling products such as an electric cigarette. they rang me later that evening i just never amswered a week later i get a phone call off bourbon and on se

Hi there, Just had a call from this number inviting me for an interview this afternoon. I realised I couldn't make it and tried calling them back. There was no answer so I decided to look on the internet and came across this page. I too applied via a job site and they are. Wow. Sad. I had an interview today and was gettin ready for it when I read this

Hmm.. I applied for this "job" thursday night and by Friday afternoon I had a phone call from them asking me to go for a interviw on Monday in Manchester.. I thought it was a bit strange how they called me the next day even when I missed the phone call they rang me again like an hour after.. I went to the interviw yesterday same as quite a few people and I got called and went to this room I thought there wasnt many people there and the fact that I got a call back that night to go back the next day (12 till 9) for the second part of the interview all seemed to quick :/ glad I looked into it all last night before I got ready to waste my day with these people if they keep pestering me I can sure throw it in there face n it will be known world wide about what there doing!!! thanks guys for making me think twice about this :)

Just posting to thank all those who took the time to warn others about these scam artists. Also i would like to reiterate what people have been saying - avoid at all costs! I worked for a company like this before, based near the manchester coach station, i think they operated as TC World or something but the funny thing is that the setup sounds exactly as others have described 'bourbon' or 'primus'.
I like others applied via fish4jobs at around 3.15am... I was therfore very surprised to recieve a call 5 hours later at 8.15am telling me my cv showed promise and that i should come to an "informal interview" & to bring "a hard copy of my cv & dress smart".
Thank god i research places im applying to... & i thank all you guys too.

I have just read the long summery of what happened at the interview, I am soo pleased I looked Bourbon Creations LTD up as I have an interview for today at 2:15. I applied through jobsite and received numerous phone calls(5  voicemails) and an email from Bourbon creations LTD telling me that my c.v was successful and that they would like me to come to their office at 20 Dickinson Street, Dickinson House, Manchester. After reading most of the reviews on this page it seems that its all a rouse! cleverly hidden at first but slowly becoming apparent the further through the 'process' you get. In this economic situation there are so many people desperate to find/secure work I wonder how many will actually attend and continue to work for these CON-companies just to scrape a living! As you can probably guess I will not be attending my interview today, and I will also be complaining to Jobsite about such Scam companies being allowed to advertise themselves through what I consider d to be a reputable firm..TUT TUT..

I received an email and a phone call from Bour Bon Creations this morning and was about to go for an interview this afternoon.  I am so glad that I have read these comments before I went.  It actually makes me feel quite sick that people are getting away with this, especially as they are advertising on legitimate job sites - how can this happen?
I have just phoned the company and explained that I would not be going for the interview and they didn't seem bothered at all - probably because they have another 100 people lined up anyway!
I have only had my CV on these so called legitimate job sites for 1 month and this is the second job scam that I've had - has anybody got any ideas who we can contact in order to make a complaint about this?

Just to let everyone know that I have called Jobsite UK and let them know about Primus and Bour Bon Creations - the guy I spoke to didn't take any details from me and told me that he would pass the complaint on - again doesn't sound too hopeful, even from the website that are advertising these jobs.

I found this job on jobsite.co.uk and applied, the next day i recieved an email asking if i could give them a call to arrange an interview with their director.

So i called them and a young woman answered the phone and i she took my name and arranged an interview for me it all sounded very ligit! She congratulated me on getting the interview and told me that it was going to be a formal interview and to take my C.v in.

I told them i was willing to travel the 40mins it takes to get to there manchester offices but now it seems it was all a waste of time?

What shall i do?
