    Hey mate,

Yeah all these companies are the same thing. Morton Solutions will have been created by somebody else in the same office, using a different name to attract people in.

These companies change name every few months once the old one has gained a bad enough reputation and enough people have quit. This will be the same 14 hour days, cold long hours and no guaranteed pay as you get with all the other companies.

You should not go to your interview thats for sure. Spend xmas with your friends and family and dont waste time on this. I know someone who used to work there too and it messed him up.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks so much Tim for the details. Well, I guess I was a bit stupid when I agreed to join BRADFORD OUTSOURCE SALES (LONDON).All that you have said is so true. Well, you left out a few details which I will like to touch on....

    1. This job can make you see things and imagine a career, you will never have thought of imagining.
    a. You will get a group of people high-fiving you any time you get to work in the morning. It felt like a circus! (The people seemed really fake- I couldn't understand how people could be happy all the time!!) If anyone was found saying anything bad about their personal situation, e.g. how their feet ached from knocking on people's doors, how broke they were or how their families thought they should quit, they were considered to be devils. The manager usually told the leaders to speak to the person(s) who may have been trying to sabotage his millions. He was scared of one nut spoiling the broth.Lol

    b. You are practically brainwashed into thinking you can knock on several doors and make so much money in year. My manager JAKE BRADFORD told us several stories about how he started way back in ALABAMA, America and how much money he had made. He claimed he was worth so much (If I can remember correctly, he claimed to have been making £100,000 per annum). I remember making peanuts. I was always so broke even after I was paid. I was practically supported by my family even though i was working. I could neither pay my rent nor my bills.

    c. Career progression – This was my main reason for staying on for over 2 months. As someone with some amount of good education, I was looking for a Company which could provide me with some progression. They claimed  on joining the company, one could progress from being a distributor-account manager/leadership-assistant manager- manager- promoting manager- regional manager- vice president. (Hmm.... interesting... Right?) It didn't end there. It could take one 6 months to 12 months to get to the manager stage. At this stage you will be put up in an office and you could be earning about £100,000 per annum. Jake claimed it took him 5 1/2 months to complete the training programme. Impressive... right? I thought if it took this man such a short period to complete this then I could also do this! But clearly I couldn't because I did not have the characteristics of a swindler
    Examples of these characteristics are;
    a. they appear to be really charming with a smile all day long
    b. Jake was a terrible listener. If his girlfriend was in the office when you had an important issue to discuss with him, he would tell you to discuss this in her presence. This was very uncomfortable as she did not work with us. She only came to the office to keep him company. He could not distinguish between business and pleasure.
    c. He was a liar and a real drama queen particularly those stories he told us during our morning meetings were not funny and some seemed to be fabricated.
    d. He was clearly a con-artist- ready to talk himself out of anything.
    e. If you quit before your weekly earnings your money will not be paid into your account. These thieves do not care when they steal poor people's monies. After walking so many hours in the rain, sun/ snow eating  and sleeping very little, these con-artists do not make sure they give you get what is rightfully yours. You will have to chase after your monies. I had to! (I had to waste my time & money phoning the company.) My other colleagues did not bother as they were very upset when they realised they had been used. They really did not want to have anything to do with Jake's Company.

When I found out his assistant manager had been in the Company for over 2 years made me realise how much I had been used to help Jake acquire his millions so he could go back to America. His manager quit the company because he realised Jake was using him too.

My advise to all is that don't waste your time with such Companies!!!

Thank god for this Forum!!! This has just save my precious time and money! I applied to primus ltd in Leeds yesterday morning and got an email saying they would like to invite me for an interview on same day! Unfortunately I couldn't attend because it was too late.. I then got a call at 9:30am this morning to attend an interview at 3:45 pm I was so excited that they reschedule the interview because i've always wanted a job in marketing although am currently employed at a fast food restuarant Mcdonalds. After reading other people stories on this site and other sites I just am so happy I didn't waste my last ever 5quid to get a day ticket to Leeds to that  [***] cos I rang that lady called Hayley that schedule the interview just now that am not interested in coming to the interview no more! hahah! These companies needs to be shut down! So unfair to people that is desperate for jobs! Karma is a [***] am sure they'll be caught ONE day!!

I applied for DCM MARKETING based in maidstone sunday jus gone. I got a call back on monday and a email stating they would like to see me for an interview on tuesday at 3:30! i was rather pleased with myself as ive been out of work 2 years due to having two children. Wen i arrived at the ORANGE building the music was blaring out the speakers i was told to fill out a form an an give my cv with it. I waited about half an hour to be interview by a girl that looked like an ompa lumpa! She was quite friendly an she told me that every starts at the same level an works there way up. I asked what the pay was like and that i only wanted part time 16-20 hours a week she jus disreguarded this and ended the interview which lasted about 10mins! An was told i would receive a call between 5 and 7 if i had been accepted to the 2nd round interviews. And yep half 6 i recived a call asking to go back on wednesday for a 2nd interview which would last frm 12pm till 8-30pm i said right ok an i was to wear comfy shoes. I was confused by this bt i arraged childcare for my 2 children as my husband works nights. I went for the 2nd interview waited an hour to be seen with about another 10 people. As i was waiting i could here more blaring music coming from upstairs an shouting an people stomping about. Wel after anther half hour past i was called with another girl 2 meet a mentor who would be showing me what the company does. So we went outside an met a group of people an i was told we would be traveling a short distance. This was actually a 45min walf from the town center to loose. None of the people i was with or my mento i was paired with had a clue where they was going I had to show them!! We walked all up hilll :/ once we got to loose the other people all went off an done there door to door sales! the girl i was paired with knocked on about 50 doors an not 1 of them signed up at this point my feet killed it was pouring down with rain started hailstoning and the girl told me she loved the weather! She then had the cheek to knock on a door do her little pitch they said no bt she then asked to use there toilet!! So i pretended to have a miss call from my mum who was lookin after my children (as my phoned had to be on silent!) an i phoned my mum an she said would i like to be picked up i said yes. I made my excuses to this girl an said gd luck in your dead end job where u earn bugga all. An i went home an i found this just wished i found it before hand!!

Another company to be wary of is Gateway Kent, im guessing an offshoot/renaming of DCM marketing, as they are based i nthe same office in Maidstone.

I was naive enough to be sucked into the ploy a couple of years ago by JK marketing also in Maidstone, same B/S as everyone else has said on here, worked for 3 days traipsing around houses on [***] estates in S.E London and Essex, obv made no money, not getting back home till around midnight. Thought sod this.

Have emailed Reed and also other job advertiser websites just now about this company, though im sure they wont take any notice as they are getting a fee from the company for advertising these jobs.

I just feel sorry for young people who cant find a real job and waste their time and money on 'jobs' like these who are sucked in by canny advertisments and 'managers' who are good at talking [***].

I had an interview a while ago with DCM in Maidstone and as it seems with everybody, I was successful. However after attending the observation day I was warned to stay away from jobs like this, I turned the job down but am still Indecisive about whether or not to have taken what seems to be the perfect oportunity to start a career. Promising promotions and incredible wages.. I know people have earmt some money in this job.. But is it really too good to be true?

Yes, yes it is. My friend worked this job for more than a year and eventually quit after finding himself in 3500 pounds of debt. These jobs are not a way to start a career thats for sure. After 1 year he was only a team leader (on the same 100% commission but even longer hours).

Looking out the window now and imagining myself knocking on doors in this weather.... not good.

My friend has currently worked for one of these companies for 2 years. Initially when he explained the structure to me i thought it sounded remarkably like a Pyramid scheme. After doing some research that is exactly what it is, instead of investing money like you do with the traditional Pyrimid this scheme requires you to invest an obscene amount of time with the promise that one day you will be financially rewarded beyond your wildest dreams. As most of us realise, this will never happen.

    This is his Story...

Now, where do i begin... My friend initially applied for the job having finished a 3 year degree at university, his ambition was to become a sports teacher. The job advert he applied for was encouraging sporty people to join their marketing team.  Following his interview, he was ecstatic that he has been selected for this 'Fast track management scheme' he told me he would be a manager earning over 50K PA within a year. It all sounded very exciting and i was pleased for him.

A month or so into the scheme i asked how he was getting on, he said it was going well and he was well on track to getting his own office in UNDER 9 months which would be when his earning drastically increased from £200 a week to £1000 a week. It was at this point he explained to me how he needs to recruit X amount of people and progress them to team leaders, these team leaders then need to progress X amount of people to leader and so on before he will then be promoted. Sounding suspicious, I did some research on multi level marketing, i confronted him with the information i found, he seemed to brush it off. A number of weeks later he confessed to me that it really got to him and he went into work armed with this information but they managed to convince him that the people who wrote these articles didnt have what it took and they were quitters. He continued to stick at it.

9 Months came and went without promotion... I quizzed him as to why he hadnt been promoted and his response was "I am ready to be promoted to a 50K earner, but my boss said he sees more potential in me so we're going to take our time building a strong support network so i become a 100K earner", unimpressed, i answered "wow, you'll be equalling the prime minister" to which he said "hopefully bro, when i do we can have that chat about it being a scam on a far away island where i'll be picking up the bill"

He continued to work his 12 hour days 6 days a week and still no promotion or any sign of a decent wage. By now, he had been at it for a year. I then ask him how the promotion is coming along, this time he tells me his boss has given him a 3 month target where he has to hit his target to be promoted otherwise he would have to sign a contract saying he would no longer work for them - being self employed they cant sack him. He told me his boss had said to him being there for 13 months looks bad on the new starters with him exceeding the time scale they heavily promote. He went on to say its the kick up the [***] he needs and he seemed thankful to his boss Hector Montalvo for bringing it to his attention. My personal opinion is they dont believe anyone will be stupid enough to stick out these crazy hours for no money for a year or more as they thrive on fresh blood.. Clearly they hadn't taken my friend into account!

The 16 month deadline came and went.... still no promotion... I thought to myself, perhaps he's finally seen the light and left. I then spoke to him and he said he was given the promised promotion however the money increase and his own office would not come until his team consistently made 120 deals per week. He went on to say he'd had some bad luck of late and this would be achieved by August - the month was currently late April.

Predictably, August came and went with out his team achieving the 120 quota, again the goal posts where moved this time to no later than Christmas. Christmas has now came on gone and to date his team have not achieved the 120 quota once! I recently asked him, when he would throw in the towel to which he replied "failure is not an option, i'll do it as long as it takes". His most recent attempt to hit is quota was to start working 7 days, again he fell short of his 120.

The sad thing is he is so blind to the situation, he started the job with his own place, car and average debt. 2 years on he had maxed out almost all credit he can get his hands on, hes moved back to his parents house and has sold he car. Financially he was better off when he had a paper round. Every time i see him now he seems to only have £20 available.

These companies are incredibly good at what they do - conning people! I think he is now too proud to leave which is a real shame. He is a shadow of his former self and uses a bizarre vocabulary which he believes is business talk.

Let his example steer others away from this industry! I've read many posts from people who have done a couple of months but he is living proof that after 2 years the carrot is still no closer.

I thankfully pulled out after the frankly ridiculous first interview and feel that more people should contact the job advertisers about this scheme. It exploits the desperately unemployed like myself. My parents keep trying to get me to go for these jobs, not realising they are the same company but a different name. People who didn't know about it all scoffed at me saying that I should be take anything I can get and be grateful. But how are these things not illegal?

It sounds really tempting when you put it like that, But if you actually include tax which then makes it £352 per week include National Insurance, which then makes it £323.84 Divide that by the actual hrs you work which is around 60hrs per week you are actually earning £5.39 per hour, my god thats less than min wage.

P.S. Not saying the Dole is a better option but there are better ways read rich dad poor dad, slags the way this company works as you will never get rich just the few people above you.

Pretty much a year on since I left the crap role I've been head hunted by CCL solutions here in Bristol and on my new updated CV I didn't bother putting the "face to face" marketing work I did on it as I didn't wanna look like a gullable [***] but the e-mail states that I "look like I want to persue a career in sales".....

It states nothing of the sort, I do not want to persue a career in sales in the very slightest even though I could do it if given the chance (the key words 'given the chance').

These shite jobs are flooding reed.co.uk amongst many others.

I have arranged a couple of interviews tomorrow one with SJM marketing and one with iconic marketing and I turned one down today with outsource ten all in Manchester. The receptionists sounded lovely, really helpful. What a shame they are a pawn in this game of fraudulantly preying on the people in this country who are trying to make something of themselves in these impossible times. I hope the poor [***] who are going to get the mispleasure of interviewing me know whats coming their way?? I know now what they are up to thanks to this link and a few others. Did you go to the interview?

I had a phone call last Friday saying my CV looked impressive (I didn't apply for the role BTW) and my no experience didn't matter, this was before I got a word in and I can come in later on in the afternoon for a first round interview, then hopefully progress to the second stage....

I informed him I done door knocking for 3 weeks about a year ago once upon a time I just didn't bother putting it on my CV and I politely informed him to never waste my time again with it.
