I've been to the offices in Millan and in Torino and in Poland trust me they're very real I'm getting promoted to assistant manager in 2 days where it's time to put in some more hard work and in the next 2 months I'm looking to be in my own office with my own client. I'm not attacking what your saying but please get your facts right before commenting, this is an amazing business for people who actually want the opportunity to really make something of themselves, it's not in any sense of the word a job it's a business venture and people who want to start they're own businesses have to put in the work, the business isn't for everyone but the people on this site are putting a bad lite on it due to the fact it hasn't worked out for them !

I also had the same experience. I applied for a few different jobs on different websites. I applied for one and was called back 1 hour later from SRJ Marketing in Manchester for a women called Tanya who said she had saw my cv, bearing in mind I applied 1 hour previously and asked me if I was still looking for work :/ I like some of you others arranged an interview for today after she thoroughly congratulated me on being shortlisted for the job like it was my birthday! I was supposed to attend the interview this afternoon at 3pm but likewise Id done my research before hand and also found this to be some kind of scam company. I received a text this morning asking to confirm my attendance to the interview but never replied and did not take the interview either. I think its really unfair to expect people to do these kinds of jobs when all are just looking for a good paid job. I then this afternoon received another email to ask to call for an interview for another sales based company. I will definitely not be making the same mistake in apply for these types of jobs again. People should be wary, they are very misleading.

Thank you everyone for these comments.  I had an email yesterday and missed the call.  Offered I interview for today but asked if I could do next week instead - interview in Dale street, Liverpool. Having lived in the pool for over four years I initially thought it was ok seeing as howany offices ate located there. .  I thought it was odd to offer an I interview next Monday so googled.

I've been unemployed for two years - I was excited at the prospect of employment. Thanks again.  I'm steering clear!

    Been There, Done That
I worked for Orrick Marketing in Leeds for nearly 5 months, nearly 3 years ago when I was 17. Young, naive and desperate - perfect target.
Worst working experience of my life.

I could write a list which goes on for far too long to explain the [***] I went through there, before finally opening my eyes and seeing sense.

The pep talks they give every morning do literally brain wash you into believing what you're doing is right, and what they promise you will happen. I can tell you now 100% that it won't happen.

The "manager" at the time, Tony I remember once teaching one of the lads working there how to nick a pair of shoes after he'd turned up in scuffed trainers... Why would he need to do that if he was earning so much?
One of the other "managers" at the time, Rachel, used to come in every morning looking as glam as she could manage... after a while working there you realise how she'd come in the same dresses over and over and the same shoes over and over... once again, if you're so bothered with how you look, where is your money going if it's not going on clothes?
And last of the managers, Kiran I think her name was, not quite sure... she got "promoted" and opened up her own "company" whilst I was working there. Took a big chunk of the "team" with her 70 miles from home... who ended up living together in a run down house, all sharing.. I think there were 5 of them, and a pregnant girlfriend too. Freezing, eating microwave meals and pot noodles because they didn't have enough money to eat, absolutely miserable and STUCK, after moving their lives out there on a promise. I've checked Kiran's facebook recently, she doesn't work at that company anymore and she doesn't even have it listed on her employment history, she must be THAT ashamed.

Looking back it seems to me that the majority of us who worked there were either: running away from problems (family, relationships), some of us were so desperate because there was such a struggle for work, and some of us were STUCK- working 9am until 10pm in the night, constantly on your feet, spending more time with your co-workers than with your family that they seem to become like family.
That's my story anyway - all of the above. When I'd finally had enough and seen sense, yeah I struggled for a while to get back on my feet, but it wasn't impossible.

So anyone who gets an offer to work for this company - DON'T EVEN GO TO THE INTERVIEW. If you really want to give it a chance and see what the fuss is about, you will end up a day-rider bus ticket poorer, plus lunch, and your feet will be aching after walking round for 9 hours knocking on doors.

If you are in this type of company and don't know how to get out - JUST DO IT. Honestly, you're losing more than you are gaining. At one point I convinced myself that I'd learnt lots of customer service skills from working there.. but these are skills you can learn at any good customer service company, just apply for a call centre job!

If you are in this type of company and you are right now trying to defend them, and yourself - WAKE UP. Think hard about the things I'm saying and process them into the things you see on an everyday basis. Maybe you won't see it now, but it will come. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I love how half the people on here think its a scam.  You. Can earn so much money if you can actually sell.  You could never earn this amount of money if u worked in a normal shop job. As I said if you cant sell its not a job for you . I work for montana marketing

My story is with the company called Krishna worldwide in Bristol...
I had very the same email from sls recruitment( name under email is Lucy Thacker) that I should ring girl called Ashi. Of course, she phoned me first( before I even read email) sounding happy and very friendly. Because phonecall woke me up- I thought my day couldn't of started any better, but......
...We agreed for an appointment next day( today). Found it slightly strange for her to call it an appointment rather than an interview, so asked her what is the actual  job. She replied :" come tomorrow and We will discuss it all". Straight away to me something isn't quite right, repetitive company wouldn't hide what's the job. Decided to look for some more info online about the company, so would be more confident getting the job I really need. Couldn't find much info, but the companies in Manchester are run exactly the same as the one I am supposed to go for an interview to.
Just because I didn't want to waste my time and money going to scam interview( or so called appointment), I called Ashi this morning asking what's the actual job, and is there actual job behind it.
She said :"if You come this afternoon We will discuss it all, it's a lot of opportunities" and when I said I actually looked online about the company and that I would like to know if I stand a proper chance of getting a job, SHE PUT PHONE DOWN ON ME!!!!!!!!!!
Well that's very professional I would say...
Definitely not going there for "an appointment".
And by the way, I had another email from sls recruitment( LucyThacker) which states that I am suitable for a role that I applied for, that she passed my CV on and if I want to speed process up I should ring her client directly. The person I would need to speak to is Ellie. So I did. Ellie seemed to be more helpful with the actual job description. I found out that this is 100% performance pay which means no pay unless You sell. You know what it means trying to go to people's house and try to sell something and get them sign the contract and get bank details. Hardly anybody would trust You these days. I don't blame them, as I certainly wouldn't.

As a former worker there, all what u have said is complete bollocks tbh, yeah ok they don't tell you that your going door to door at the start, but you have the opportunity when u go out on your interview day which gives u an insight to what they do, anyone has the chance to say, u know what, I appreciate what u do but this aint for me as 1 boy did when I was showing him on his interview. No one makes you do anything you don't wanna do!!! And as for the pay, you do get paid, for every 6.50 bite u get is 15 quid and every 8.50 bite you get is 20 quid... As you get that weekly for however many you do... So whatever ur chatting about u don't get paid is [***]!!! Yes you do, and IF for any reason you don't get paid, they give it to you themselves and go when ur money goes through, just give it back or saink, and everyone buys you lunch and that cos it is a week in hand. And knows that u might be tight on cash cos they was in that position before... So unless you've actually worked there, don't go slagging off the place :D

These jokers, Strategic five marketing are even on the Direct Gov Universal Jobsmatch site advertising their "non-jobs". I would have thought the DWP would take their vetting procedures more seriously.

Thanks to all who have warned about this company, i have done sales in the past and know how dodgy they are and i won't be placed in that position again, so when i have an interview lined up i have been reasearching this company and because they haven't explained exactly what the job is, i asked the girl on the phone is it door to door? in store or what and she said the manager will explain at interveiw, well no i am not going to waste my time and money getting there only to find out it is a crap sales company. And that explains why they always advertising jobs, cause everyone leaves. It's really annoying as i am keen to work and have good skills. I am better off starting my own business
Best wishes to everyone on hear God bless you all and i hope you get work and treated with respect you deserve
