Dear Tina, I don't know who you are, but my friends name is Tina.. she too worked there around June 2010, i'm not sure if you are her or not...but she is threatening to call the police on you, and there is no way she wrote those comments, cause she was out with me during 8th september, which was yesterday, she was with me the whole day! and i slept over at her house in ealing, by the way I am a girl! and we are not lesbians. she works a lot, and doesn't have time for the internet, but she does spent a lot of time on facebook through her iphone, shes was not at home around those time you write those comments especially yesterday, she currently works as a waitress in London, Chancery Lane. she is extremely shy.

so you better stop or else she will take legal action against you, for posing as her... but i'm guessing you toke her comments from facebook...right? that is her real facebook, she didn't write anything bad just she did door to door, felt guilty and so so and she found her manager scary, she changed  her facebook account twice though, cause someone stole her accounts.

so honey you better stop.

Everyone please don't listen to this Tina girl, shes not really the real Tina (i know cause i know the real one that worked there) shes just a pathetic girl with no life, she has also sent Tina nasty comments through facebook . your comments are really funny about Mike, yes he did threaten her, but i think she hates Maria more, and its really funny you would write bad comments about her manager there, from her real point of view, she actually understood him a lot, she does not hate Mike, even though she did not do any sales she admits it, but she was able to see past that, considering the fact that he was very young, and only started to work when he was like 17/18, from what she told me, but...Maria who is almost the same age as Mike, her attitude is SHOCKING, i mean she cliams to have finished university, and worked with vulnerable people, so she should know how to act and speak around others who have no confident, but instead she made nasty comments to her such as ""Your only shy, because you are fake, if you are shy, then people think you are fake, which is true, because there is no this and that, people are right"" no offence but if this was a child she said this to, I would have punched her! in fact i would not ever want her near my kids EVER. she also made some racist comments to her, not because she is ignorant...but because maria is polish a polish is a slav, slavs have problems with albanians, she was lucky tina had a calm temperature, because if it was me and she said to me "Albanians are not illyrian" i would have knocked her lights out, especially due to the fact that she only said it cause she has a problem with albanians though her slavic blood, and i do not even care if she is catholic, a slav is a slav, they will always be famous for ethically trying to completely wipe out albanians off the map, and stealing their land and history.

so again please stop, cause i know tina, she does not hate her manager, at all! i saw him once, he looked very hansome and mature, but i never spoke to him, only saw him from a long distance, but she hates that girl maria even more.

and she didn't go to work because of her manager, she understands him, but she never went because of some worker there, who she thought was taking the piss out of her, cause she shyly sent a text to some worker there that he was fit, and then she thought everyone was taking the piss out of her, especially the guy who she wrote it about, so she was upset cause she thought everyone was having a laugh at her. she just told her manager some "other" things that were also true, but it wasn't because of that, it was because   of that guy who she thought was cute, and she thought was laughing behind her back taking the mick out of her...shes like that...

sorry i think its this girl here who calls herself tina, on this site who wrote these comments, that sent her nasty comments, but i could be wrong. but what i can tell you is that she didn't write these comments on this site, since she was with me on the 8th, which was 2 days ago Saturday.

I would love to meet Maria who works for my friends ex manager.... So I can slap her silly, and rip her head off! Simply because she made horrible comments about Albanians, by saying they are not Illyrian, go to albania and say that you won't even see day light! Macedonia is even worse! She even told me others made similar comments, but Maria had no excuse except it was a hatred remark due to her Slavic roots

Found this on another site saying beware of S5 Marketing Birmingham/ Strategic Five Marketing Birmingham or what ever they choose to call it until next year - worked for 2 days and that was enough...the managers were so dodgy and once I went on-line and saw this it all made sense. had to pay everyday to go knock on peoples doors for charities and lovefilm everyday on 100% commission with no basic - it works out that i LOST money by working there and made no money. They lie in the interview about wanting  trainee graduates or marketing assistants or sales trainees to take from an entry level to promote to management opportunities but its clearly misleading, they take on everyone. i have put the statement i found about them on line from another website.

I recently went to an interview recently for entry level position where I was told I would be trained up to be a manager within under a year. Here's the snag..... it would be 100 commission based and door to door. Now everyone is to their own and that mite be ok for some people but I only realised this once id had to follow a staff member to a "territory" where they wanted to create "awareness" for a charity on my 2nd interview. The manager of this company called ben ithink who is quite short and stocky but VERY arrogant did not care to inform me of these details.

All he cared to do was mention the clients of British Red Cross, Talk Talk and some childrens charities etc and when i asked about pay he simply said it was "performance based...clearly a way to divert from telling me it was commision only. I will be graduating soon and want a career in sales but why would I work for a company that lies to me on my initial interview and glosses up the reality of what the role is.

Just to be polite I stuck through the process for the whole day just to be nice and the person i was with was genuinely nice although they tried to give me these pointless tasks on marketing through out. When I got back to the office i was offered the role and was congratulated (it was clear that they took on most of the people who came back clearly just a LAW OF AVERAGES as was drilled to me). smiling I accepted the job, left the building and didnt return the next day.

I thought id share my experience to warn others to know what to expect.

My friend says she doesn't know if it is a scam or not even though she worked for them, but to me it does sound like a complete scam. I remember when I was waiting for her and she was with her mentor maria, her mentor is an idiot, don't get me wrong she's pretty but she seemed very sadistic the way she spoke to her. I have very spoken to Maria, only saw her from a distance and she seemed very sadistic, to me they are a complete scam. She NEVER left because she saw people getting badly treated that's bulls! She told me it was simply because she was shy, never made any sales, and having panic attacks during the knock so she agreed with her manager that she shouldn't work there anymore, and no she never found another job before she left. But her manager was slightly threatening, but he didn't have a lot of experience in life jobs in order to make a prefect manager he started young as a manager. she doesn't hate him at all, she doesn't think badly of him, except Maria.

So don't listen to this tina here, cause shes just trying to
cause trouble.

Tina does NOT hate mike, she never did, she admired him as a manager, but he appeared scary at times, she doesn't hate anyone... The only people she had problems with in the office with was her sadistic mentor Maria and some prick named Julius, she doesn't hate them but she just thought the only thing that came out of Maria's mouth was Racism and Stupidity.   and julius was just an idiot who made her mad during the last day she went. Hey if any more messages come here again by some girl claiming to be called TINA again... Please report it,  she/he is not me, it's just an idiot who keeps hacking into my details and signing up with my account and name. Lucky got an alternative address and changed my password and secret questions.

I did work for those people, and as far as the word scam... No comments, I got fine with everyone, my manager was alright but slightly scary at times, the only person who made me feel annoyed was my mentor that's it.

I don't remember any Ivan Olu or any name she/he mentioned here, I even forgot there was some guy named usman in my group and Nicola she does not ring a bell.

Im very sorry but the people in that office are indeed very uneducated, you go in the office for the first day they ask you 'where are you from' once you tell them, they stand like idiots trying to lecture you about your origins and which family branch you belong to, because they have no brain and don't care about the business, just to take your money that's it.

All these companies are a scam, my local door knocking service was here for 2 years, employed everyone they could and eventually got such a bad reputation that people stopped going to the interviews. Then the hardcore 5 or 6 people left realised they had no new people to con they shut up shop. In that time many people who worked for them (my friends included) got into large debts.

Save yourself the time and dont bother with these places.

I have read a lot of comments made by the company, I have worked in this industry for 2.5 years and I used to be Campaign Manager running about 30 guys and it was great some of those guys made it management and some didn't, I no longer work in this business because I got offered a job I couldn't turn down.

In any business there are good and bad people, if you are going for an interview I hope you get a good manager who tells you everything about the company before you start. Some of you guys have been conned by not being told that it was 100% commision and that is wrong, with every person I interviewed, I was 100% crystal clear on telling them the ins and outs of the business.

I did learn a great deal and became an excellant sales person, by developing skills that got taught to me, then I developed into a great manager and learnt how to run a business. Without this experience I don't think I would have the job I have now.

There are down sides like in any business, it is long hours, it is 100% commision, and I have also had the displeasure of probably working with one of the most dispicable human beings to walk the planet, (I dont want to name names, not my style, but she is a manager in London) and even when you get to management it is still not easy. This is not a get Rich Quick Job like everything it takes time.

My advice would be go to the interview ask all the questions you need and just be open minded, if this job is something for you, you could learn a lot, get good hands on experience and make some really close friends. If its not for you, dont just give it a shot, DONT do it because you'll end up writing something on here because you feel angry and disgruntled.

I'm NOT angry at all. I don't hate anyone there. In fact I was going to actually visit but I was working a more tiring job, so I became LAZY! The other Tina who wrote here in my name was just a Troll. Maybe she worked in the office before and was angry but didn't want people to know who she or maybe he is. Mind you the troll maybe did not work in the office. I hardly don't remember anyone in the office... Who is Nicola. Ivan, and Olu that she kept mentioning?! I only remember my manager and mentor that's it no one else, I only remember 4 people that were NOT in my group, but not the whole office like the troll did.  I remember Toby, Duncan I do remember, cause everyone seemed scared of him... I wasn't! I never spoke to him. I remember another guy who was upstairs but not his name, he has a name that is similar to one of the roman empires, I know it sounds sad but everytime I hear his surname I remember the name.

But who is Olu? No seriously.. Cause she kept mentioning him here and on Facebook, she sounds like she fancies him or something...

Just to make it clear, I would never do this job again not because people are saying its a scam or whatever, but because its too risky it's dangerous, and its very rare to get nice leaders there that are understanding to
work with. I once had a man take out a knife in front of me, a stalker following me and shouting sexual grotisic things at me about what he wanted to do to me, whenever I told my leader, all she did was say 'maybe your not being yourself' or 'your coming across as fake' really?! the problem with the managers it that they trust the leaders too much on what information they give back about the new workers, the leaders are in fact in more control of the situation, the managers tend to ask them and not you about the insident  so what ever you say will not come across, because the leaders are in more control.

One more thing even if someone was trolling with your name on this site, it doesn't change the fact the whole place company is scam! you go knocking on doors, you get attacked and at the end it's your fault, even if you just acted normally, here is to sum up some of the people that worked there

Still they are all S.C.A.M.S! They used a pyramid scheme and pay 100% commission only which is ILLEGAL! They should be shut, people don't deserve to suffer like this. I suffered from them and it was winter, cold and like most people here i got attacked.
