theyre not just based on dickinson street they are all at no.20.

I got 3 emails in one day from GForce, 4ward Promotions and Bradford with all 3 emails having the exact same address. Avoid these commission only nightmares like the plague! Anyone stupid enough to think that they should go down anyway as they might not get scammed by one of the 'companies' on the list deserves to work 45 hours a week for no pay.

    Hi, theyre a scam.

Look at the first page, any company on it are con artists. My mate had an interview with Castle Road, same story of crappy offices and vague descriptions. He just walked out.

Considering you are an intelligent woman! then surely you must see how you going along to the interview day/observation day is not the company getting a free days work out of you, because if you dont actually sell anything then you dont get payed, and neither does the company! having closed minded stuck up people like yourselves follow the field sales rep around all day is a ball ache! so its a good job you didnt go to the observation day, the sales rep who may have been lined up to take you with them probably made 100 pound on that day, while you sat at home making 0 pounds, moaning!

To all you LAZY miserable pathetic people who have nothing better to do than moan about people working hard rather than actually getting off your backsides and getting a job! WAKE UP!!!.....where are all your other job offers??? there arent any are there? and you know why because you have no personality, drive or ambition! i worked for this company for nearly a year, and learnt more than i could have ever imagined from the "MD"...which actually means managing director!...the life lessons you learn from these type of jobs, you will not find anywhere else! yeah you dont get a basic pay, and yeah you are self employed, but personally i took great satisfaction in earning every single penny myself, and working bloody hard to get it! with the skills i picked up from working for this 'scam company' i am now confident i will get any job i desire...and i have since leaving them!
The management oppportunity is incredible and guess what its real!!...it just takes some serious hard work and determination!....something that obviousily you low lifes lack!
Now before any of you pipe up with why did you leave then?.....mind your own f-in business!!
Now go ahead and collect your JSA, and feel proud that you are taking money from the people who actually work for a living...oh and while your at it, why dont you go ahead and pop out a couple of kids....i heard the earning potential on them is incredible and you even get a house!
    Enough Said!... L

    I had a missed call on 1471 and called back on 0115 958 6126 today about 5pm.
The receptionist asked for my first name and then another lady came on the phone.
She said that they were PRIMUS UK she had seen my details on a jobs site.
They are based in Nottingham near the market square, a marketing and promotion company, and with the right training I may even be able to become my own business manager in 12 months or so.

They are holding preliminary interviews on monday 31 May bank holiday! about 9am ( why I thought, alarm bells started ringing in my head?)

She could not give me any guide on salary, but agreed it wolud be basic + OTE basis. The interviewing manager would decide whether you are suitable for any of the advertised positions.

I declined the interview and then sought some internet advice to see whether I had been taken in.
It sounded too good to be true, It probably is based on the previous 8 pages of comments, but someone must be making some money down the line, as the adverts are quite numerous on job sites. It does make you feel quite vulnerable, lots of people must be taking up their calling.

Hope this helps, and good luck to anyone that makes it work, but there are not that many positive comments in these blogs.

I have an interview today for Castle Road Marketing, Dickinson Road, Manchester. Good job I had a poke about on the web, I was wondering why these lot didn't have a website. Thanks for this blog everyone, I won't be going to the interview. Door to door is not for me, I don't have the pushy persistence needed. It's probably not a scam but they need to be more honest about the job description

To be fair that's a bit harsh. you can't assume to know everything about people. maybe i'll assume to know you, perhaps if you have any kind of self awareness or ability for self criticism you might admit you're probably an arrogant, pushy, selfish idiot with no friends coz you treat them like crap. Don't complain, you've judged everybody, take it! I applied for a job with one of these companies, but guess what I'm not claiming JSA, and I have no god damn kids either. I pay all my rent and bills and it leaves me with bloody nothing to live on, I would get more if i was signing on but that'd make me a scrounger. but no i have just under £40 a month left to live on. I'm in full time work as a marketing assistant for a theatre company, but it's not permanent, there's no way i want to sign on when this job finishes. so i looked online,  the problem is these companies aren't clear on the job description, I think that's what's gotten people annoyed. they'd have less applicants if they were honest, i don't want to work for a company that doesn't give me all the facts straight away. Not everyone is cut out for door to door work, i'm not but it has F all to do with my not wanting to work hard. I work seriously hard at the moment but i'm not pushy enough to do door to door so i'd earn nothing, but not because i'm lazy, i just don't have that level of confidence. I think your out of order

Tom- Ex team leader for Perdm
This company started out as Smart circle in the US, a couple "regional managers" josh cote and jesse young came over from the states and begun the perdm group. In my 11 months there, yes I have seen people get to "management" if you can call it that, but at what expense.

    Lack of social life
    Lack of money
    One day weekends
    Working 70+ hours a week
Lack of pride in your job

Now most people that comment on how [***] all this is, have in fact never even started. Yes the thought of ever knocking on a door again gives me nightmares, but what it did do is give me the most hardcore sales training avalible. Since leaving perdm to find a real career I can be proud of, I have been for interviews for the position of recruitment consultant, pharmasutical sales, sales management roles....and all the interviewers were amazed with my previous experience doing a commisson only, 72 hour a week, D2D job AND being good at it.

Now Im not trying to endorse any of these companies, because I think there a pile of S***... But any one that is serious about getting into a high paid sales job, then these types of companies are a good place to start, they will hire ANYONE that is willing and you will effectivley be trained in the hardest sales possible.

If your not serious about working in high paid sales role then working for a company like this will be of no interest to you.

I hope this info helps people see in ways in which these scamming companies can actually be of good use to your personal career aspirations.

Thanks to everyone who reports this. I was so pleased to have found out that i had got an interview just a week after finishing University, then some research into this Primus scam found it all to be too good to be true. I have an interview tomorrow morning which i am not going to!

They are exploiting graduates how come out of university looking for training and tricking them into doing some [***] door to door job that Primus (if that is even a real registered business name) makes all the money from. They will pay you peanuts, they reap all the financial results and leave graduates with the feeling of disappointment and the thought that future interviews maybe like this.

They are liars wasting peoples time and conning innocent people not just once. They con people into thinking it is the job of a life time and then get them to con innocent people by getting them to sell their crap to them.

    "What goes around comes around"

    Dont trust these [***]!!

I have had a very similar experience to most of these testimonials, fresh out of uni last year I went to an interview with 'G Force Marketing' in Manchester (which coincidentally wasn't at 20 Dickinson Street as it is now) and the offices were tatty, dirty and not even decorated. The interviewer gave me a ten minute interview and shockingly I got the job straight away, which rang alarm bells. Thankfully I clocked on that the job role wasn't anything near what it was advertised as.

I have also recently been rung by 'Castle Road Marketing' (guess what address, 20 Dickinson Street). My own fault for applying through Reed. I will not be attending the interview.
