They just phoned me and mentioned PPI so must be some company after taking legal action against loan companies and banks.

Missed a call from these guys but I am on the TPS so they shouldnt be ringing anyway. If they call again I am reporting them to their regulator.

I've had this call from african accent woman saying.. I got 10,000 loan.. F**K off!!
she said they're base in Manchester.

they rang the wifes mobile, didnt speak on answer then the landline rangstraight away

how did they get both numbers?

had 2 calls from this number within 5 minutes the first 1 did'nt give me a name but the second said his name was john bolton from the claim advisory service in manchester and i was asked on both occassions about ppi and i could claim back £15,000. They both asked for me by name i was asked if i had a loan in the last 10 years and did i have ppi sold to me and also asked me if i worked i         answered their questions until i was asked who i banked with i would not tell them and they hung up   date i had these calls-12/08/2011. they both had accents.

Had a call from this number earlier today when I answered it I could hear talking in background but had no response, I phoned back and Asian sounding man said he was from claims direct and thought I would be due some money back on loans I had previously had.
I explained I have never had a loan and always paid of credit cards and asked to be removed from their call list.

I was at my mums, answered the house phone to this number. They asked for my mum by name, and i said she was at work. The guy then said, can i ask who you are? I answered that i was her daughter. He then said, are you over 18? I said yes. He then said "thats good, i believe you are owed up to £1,500 in ppi against a loan you have taken out." i said ive never taken a loan out. He asked if i was sure, and said are you sure you dont have a car that youve taken a loan out on? I told him i was very sure that i didnt have a car loan. I then asked him if he didnt know my name or if i was over 18, how he knew i was owed this money as he obviously didnt know a thing about me. He hung up........!

This number just called and asked for a Mr Darren Fox. I said "I think you've got the wrong number mate", so he said "What's your name?" and I told him, stupidly.

He then said "Are you over 18?" and I said "No I'm not" and he said "Sorry to bother you" and hung up.

Should I be worried about this? Should I be worried that he knows my name?

I have at least 1 phone call a day from this company but they always ask for a certain person by the name of Louise Blakeway,  I've no idea who this person is and I keep telling them but they take no notice.

Received a call from this number today.  Answered it and nobody answered !  Why bother to call ?

I am quite sure that this sort of cold calling is illegal as I had a text telling me my 'recent injury could be worth £xxxx'. I called them and spoke to a young-ish girl, asked her name and the name of the company but when I asked if they were based in the UK I got the phone slammed down on me because they know the text messages are illegal and I think such calls are classified as the same.
I would suggest finding out the name of the company and making a compaint to Trading Standards, your MP etc.

if this company has your details be worried, there privacy statement they will give or sell your details to anyone world wide.

hi there keep getting called by this number and when  pick the phone up there is no answer, starting to get fed up with these annoying callers especially when they phone you at stupid times

Call received from 0161 478 1190  Friday 26/08/2011 at 1810 hrs.

I have made some enquiries of my in addition to reporting the company to the regulatory body.

I am advised that the Claims Advisory Group are based at Queens House, Queens Street, Manchester.

How about us all meeting there on Tuesday and paying them a visit ?????

I just had one of these calls also, all you need to do to these nuisance callers is tell them that you do not discuss any of your private information over the phone and that if they know about you and who you are etc then they must have your personal details already and your home address so for them to send out any correspondence through the old way (send a letter in the post) !! that seems to make them go away for a little while  :)

They called me again and refused to believe I have not had a loan in the last 10 years, nor do I have a mortgage. Something about reclaiming insurance permiums on a loan
