- Ross replies to steven| 1 replyidiot. They take 39% if successful & it's completely your choice if you do so, they even give you the opportunity to read the pack first..... and if they cannot claim money back you don't pay them a penny... posts like these make companies look bad. They do cold call which is annoying, but that makes them the same as ANY sales company including gas/electric & phones services etc.
get your fact rights first people. - Shaggy1 replies to RossYou get your facts right Ross.
It is not completely your choice CAG con peplple into making a claim to get money out of them. They do not just take 39% if you are successful. They still take 39% whether you are successful or not and they also take an up front admin fee, and as for you don't pay them a penny if they cannot claim money back I know someone who made a claim through CAG they were told the claim was unsuccessful and still charged over £600.
You are talking our of your F****** A*** Ross and if you think you know everything about this scam company and you are so clever why don't you make a claim and see how much it costs you.
Good Luck - Dawn H.| 1 replyI had 2 missed calls from this number. When I called them back I didn't catch the name of the 'company ' but they told me they were trying to contact a 'Mr Donald Trump!
- Shaggy1 replies to Dawn H.Dawn H
They are a company called Claims Advisory Group telling people that they are owed money for misold PPI on a credit card or loan, or that they have a claim for misold PPI on a credit card or loan then they ask for your bank details.
DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY IT IS A SCAM TO GET MONEY OUT OF YOU. - drjenny88I have never had a loan, but this company has called me several times offering to reclaim money back in loan insurance. They weren't interested when I said I'd never had a loan or credit card, refused to say what company they were calling from and wouldn't tell me how they got my number. I won't be answering the phone to them again. Only after bank details - complete con artists!
- Caller: Would not say
- janeyi've just had a call from this number. It's a company that wants to get back personal protection insurance on any loans in the last 10 years. When i told the bloke that i'd not had any loans, he just cut me off
- Trish| 2 repliesThis number calls repeatedly. A similar number phoned a few days ago offering to claim back PPI for me but I told them this did not apply to me. Not sure if it's the same lot and they just haven't got the message as they've called every day since!
- Customer Service Specialist replies to TrishTrish it may not be the same company, your number may well have been given to numerous companys, and I know there is quite a few in the Greater Manchester area that offer the PPI service, as I've said earlier whenever you sign up for anything like a new phone line or a catologue or if you visit comparison sites make sure you read the terms on how they handle your information you may need to tick or untick to stop your information being passed on not to just PPI companys but all knds of telephone sales firms.
For those interested there is a piece on companies that offer the PPI service on watchdog tonight at 8pm, may be worth a watch. - KFC123 replies to TrishJust called my mobile too. Partner answered it and said I hadn't taken out any loans. He asked how he knew this, partner said cos I live with her and I would know whether she had taken out a loan! With this the bloke just hung up!

- tatzboy replies to missjo| 3 repliesif you have a loan the company sells data to outsorced companys that in turn sell it to cag and so forth thats how they know you
- shaggy1 replies to tatzboy| 2 repliesHow dare you reply to my post f--- off. You don't even know me I am extremely offended by your reply. You are vulgar, rude and agressive.
I have reported you to the forum for sending me an abusive, offensive and unacceptable post.
I hope they remove you from the forum.
You bloody hypocrite! - Sonic5317Went for an apprenticeship and ended up working with these guys, they have us ringing up people at random reading a script in hope to send out a claims pack so they can get 39% of your claim. I did the training for a week, then went onto the phones...the company treated me like dirt basically here's your script...get dialling..they said they would pay me after my training..never got anything, then when it came to the phones "oh..you will get paid in 2 weeks" after taking much abuse from people on the phone which really is for the company and not the callers. at the end of the call we had to choose what happened in the call e.g ans machine, not interested, never call and on the RARE occasion a sale. I did not like what I was doing nor did I like the company so I quit on the second day, my advise is to ignore these people and please try not to be too abusive to them as its not their fault my friends are still working there and they say they are soon to quit too. I'm now looking for work again, but hey least I'm not annoying people any more.

- Dave replies to shaggy1| 1 reply**I DO NOT HAVE ANY AFFILIATION TO CAG PAST OR PRESENT HOWEVER I WORKED IN THE INDUSTRY IN THE PAST FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS IN A SENIOR POSITION**
**THIS POST IS NOT DIRECTLY AIMED AT SHAGGY1 BUT AT ALL THE PEOPLE (shaggy1 included) WHO HAVE A ONE TRACK MIND AND HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT**
why do you keep calling CAG scammers???? because they ask for your bank details?!?!?! they need your bank details in order to contact your banks credit card companies ect. they take a fee to cover their costs, and they have to take a fee if you pull out of the agreement as just because you may change your mind doesnt mean they can turn back time and un-do all they work they have done (80-90% of the work on a dmp and ppi claim are done in the first 2 weeks). you need to get off this site and get yourself a job, and get yourself off your DMP (which is a bigger scam than any PPI claim could ever be) and since you already know everything there is to know about this 'SCAM' i take it your aware they are owned by Baines&Ernst probably the biggest debt management company in the UK. and as you are clearly commercially aware in regards to the whole industry you will know that every debt management company share information with each other, obviously they wont make each other aware of this but will sell peoples information onto other companies under a false company name when they have removed your details from their dialler system you will then be added to the next company.
these "low Lifes" & "scum" are doing a job they are paid to do (paid very well) most of them are earning £100k+
its not in their interest to keep ringing people who they cannot help or who do not want their help if you explain you dont want the help or dont need the help you will be removed from their list as they wont want to waste their time speaking to you.
**AND TO THE IDIOTS WHO WANT TO HARM PEOPLE WITH LOUD NOISES DOWN A PHONE**
i and any other solicitor would strongly recommend that you re think your plan of "getting your own back" as most advisor's in call centres have double sided headsets and any loud noise can cause serious damage to their hearing. Criminal and civil proceedings would be taken by the company and the individual you have harmed which unfortunately would not be able to be covered by any sort of liability insurance you hold.
remember manners dont cost a thing,
and no matter how good about yourself it makes you feel swearing or mocking people on the phone REMEMBER they are the ones who have got all of your personal details, they have your name, address, DOB, phone numbers, sort code, account number ect ect they ask for the bank details ect to confirm they are the correct details they have, they will not read out the details they have got for your protection in case somebody answers your phone and inadvertently gets all your bank details given to them.
so they best advise i can give and to summarise my mini rant is to take the 20 seconds to say you dont need/want their help and then you both can get on with your days.
